- We head off to Aston Barclay car auction in Chelmsford, fully prepared with a list of 20 cars that we wanted to buy, we could not believe the prices the cars were making. Very expensive, although we did manage to win one right at the end.

Be good to see a whole video on the Mazda like you say. I’ve been down to AB Chelmsford the last few weeks and come away with nothing. Gets you down a bit tbh. All the research, going down there to see the thing and then it goes through so far above cap I really do wonder how these boys are making anything on it!? And it’s almost every car. Crazy. Been up to Wilson’s this Tuesday gone and it’s just the same there. Keep up the content boys you’ll grow without doubt 👍
That’s the plan for next weeks video 💯 Completely agree with you too, it can be disheartening coming away without any cars after spending a lot of time on them before they go through. But you’ve got to be in it to win it and there’s always something to learn at the auctions 👌🏼 Realy appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave such positive feedback 👍
Would be good if you put the sold prices + fees after each car goes through the auction.
Good discipline lads at the auction and your summing up of the prices that the cars went for together with the possibility of dealers selling the cars straight on is probably correct. Video was excellent by the way, following all the cars you had previously highlighted. Good idea for the Mazda video as well.

Fees at ''most'' of these places are absolute robbery.

As someone else has mentioned, please put more information on the video of the sold price relative to CAP. We can't see the auction screens nor hear the auctioneer clearly.

Nice video, subscribed and look forward to more content lads. I was at Aston Barclay, Westbury recently, same thing, lots of cars above CAP book, margins will be as tight as a nuns on some of them.

My local auction can't give EV,s away!! They had 2 nissan leafs🤔🤔 leaves?? They didn't reach half their book price plus the suction house were giving hdlf price fees and free 200 mile radius delivery!! The both went provisional 😂😂

Alot of traders dont do the prep work you 2 do...
Here in Peterborough alot of .....how can i put it .... different cultures want to make a quick profit so they buy the cars at auction and probably just clean them and advertise them same day snd they all on FB so saving advertising costs as well.
Its really difficult to find a n honest good cheap second hand car now
