Haynes Maidstone - purchased car from them, serviced and used them for 10+ years on all service and work. last time had a dispute where they didn't tell me what i was getting, implied there was more work than necessary. One might think they'd be reasonable, yet they sent me to the ombudsmen. 1 year of back and forth and they agreed Haynes were at fault - ironically denied me a full refund because I'd had use of the part , duh i wanted to give it back immediately Haynes were refusing and they took a year to get to that conclusion. Haynes took over a year to refund and only when i tried to make the owner Andrew aware did they eventually do so. When asked how they thought they'd done, he saw no wrong doing on their part. They may have a nice glassy building, but don't trust them anymore than you would a back street garage.
@@weflipcarsUK Well... after buying the car i made the effort of emailing their manager Mr Cheeseman. I told him how good i thought his salesman was. He didn't bother to reply. When their fitter lost my locking nuts the blame and responsibility quickly shifted to me until we found he'd put it in the pouch on the back of the passenger seat. They charge £130 an hour to diagnose, however this isn't worth anything as they told me they were going to replace a camera, then replaced a "module" and told me i needed to pay for a camera, oh and maybe the sat nav. They also told me my aircon was working, yet to this day it is not. What a bunch of greedy cowboys. They kept me without my car for 6 days, in that time they let me return to pick the car up claiming they'd called me to say don't come. there was no record on my phone, he'd called a landline that had been out of date for 8 years, a number i told them to remove every year since . He let me walk home 4 miles uphill, no sorry, no cab, no offer of a lift. The final straw was charging me over £650 for a GPS ariel that was supposed to be located middle of the roof, under the headlining, instead they stuck it on the window screen. and ran the cable up the pillar. I have had a dash cam installed in the same way - Halfords took an hour and charged £50/£60 I'm sure you are nice fellas, but aside from a few customer facing people and they are not
It’s 6 years old now and it’s diesel which isn’t great in a convertible. Colour is too feminine as well for most blokes. It will drop a lot more value quickly
Yeh. Agree with all this. At 15,2 be hard leave where asked buy it right money. We’ve all been here. Known the colour fuel type against it. But well. It’s nice cond and cheap to book
@@weflipcarsUKgiven its slow sales buyers market had to change way buy cars. Not just price. No category cars. Nothing leggy. Nothing voluminous advisories over the years. I sell budget cars and they don’t just come in and out in a week.
@@weflipcarsUK So what are you saying, anyone who doesn’t immediately sign on the dotted line is a time waster and they deserve a mouthful of abuse? That’s hilarious.

A few years ago I had a white c class convertible but with the red leather, I had owned 4 or 5 mercs since, currently smoking a E400 coupe petrol in black, just sold a porsche cayenne I was also using, blew £3,5k on that. Need to sell a 2019 golf gti mk7, 5 with 25k miles it's been for sale 10 months going blow my brains out on that one
I am sorry customers are annoying BUT money is tight and there are so many shit cars being flipped by unscrupulous morally bankrupt car dealers that customers have to make sure the car and you are genuine. Second hand cars are ridiculously priced right now and people can waste £20000 on an unreliable car. The good news is as cars become harder to sell the easy money quick buck gangster might turn to something else.
i drive a vw golf r estate v7.5 and i say of getting rid of it but its too good . thats been in my life for 2 years now. i would never get rid of it , its only done 54k. lol.
Over 68.000 miles is not low mileage on that car !!
Typical car dealer Bull
Glad prices are aligning and coming down.

That merc is worth about 13/14k to be fair
though the depreciation wasn't the worst. you would expect a 20k car to lose about 3k a year at least. so just a bit over.
Another great video 😀
Has the market crashed or is it just correcting? Surely, used cars that were selling at higher than the cost new was never sustainable?
just correcting and prices are still too high
Absolutely spot on, it is correcting after the covid madness. Thanks for watching & commenting👍
You both seem refreshingly different from other vlogs i watch. Keep up the good work lads.
Thanks for the kind words David🙏
Prices still dropping!
Nice one guys, not all flowers and roses, makes a change to see the truth behind running a pitch and the challenges you have....
Certainly isn’t! As I’m sure you know only too well. Thanks for the continued support👍

What about a warranty, did you supply one

Diesels not as popular
