Jon’s takes about 4th down is hilarious. Does he forget that the defense prior to the pick had 20 yards to give up for a TD while a punt, even if it was a bad punt will give the D 50 plus yards to surrender.

Went to Indy and SMU game. Don’t think I will make it out to Arizona, but will definitely be in Miami in Atlanta to watch us win the national championship.

Who knows if Penn State will ever have a run like this again in the near future, it’s worth spending the money!

Let’s be honest, SMU has never been in an environment that crazy. And we also were more physical than them for the whole game.

A good leader makes a difference. Allar has really developed.

Jennings Touchdown pass was amazing, though.

SMU’s game plan was pressure Allar and limit Tyler Warren . They did that; everyone else stepped up…

Jennings was a deer in headlights from the jump. Let this sink in for a second. Before this game, the most hostile away environment he faced was Louisville with 50k in attendance. I bet this is the first time he's ever felt his vital organs vibrating due to crowd noise LOL...

Jenkins one td pass was amazing though. Hopefully PSU learns from that pass

Yeah I am sorry agree with everything but that fourth down on your own nineteen yard line come on that was ridiculous your winning your defense is dominant and the oppositions QB couldn't do anything correct. What James Franklin said in the post game interview is typical franklin saying I get it and making and excuse for a poor decision.

Audrey … love all your writing. But please, you’re an educated, thoughtful journalist. It’s SWAGGER … not swag. Unless you’re referring to new threads or bags the team is using

I am Catholic and not at all offended. I really enjoy and regularly listen to the two of you, but I can say in this post game analysis you both are irrationally exuberant and sound like “homers”- especially Sauber on the 4th down - don’t give up easy points ( but for delucas heroics )at that stage of the game . Many aspects of PSU’s game were lacking and frankly disappointing. I also expect a higher level of analysis. SMU‘s defense needs to be measured in the context of their competition. Only three of the teams faced had rushing attacks in the top 50 of division one. Etc . Same for other metrics . Smu just not that good on the whole .Happy PSU won. They got a tremendous amount of help and did not look good at all at times , especially on offense . Ohio state versus a team better than SMU looked superb ….

Going for it on 4th and 1, from your own 19 is stupid. Plain and simple. If they did that and missed against any other team in the CFP that other team would have made PSU pay for their mistake. It’s football stupid.. and would have allowed a good team to get back into the game.

You can coach scared from your, couch, stands wherever you are at. Comments like this only show that fans like this are out of touch with real time game decisions. Franklin knows his players, his coaches and he can see when it’s time or the wrong time. He knew his defense was up to the task. The issue wasn’t
the call it was the lack of execution on the snap, but that could have happened on a punt. You don’t play scared.

This guy lost all credibility when he tried his best to justify BGJ awful 4th down decision on own 20 yd. That was purely idiotic.

I like the call and fully agree with Franklins reasoning. I actually dislike the 4th and 13 more even just punting ball 10-20 yards it is what it is… but 4th and 1, no issue
