I swear I used to watch BOTH these brothers for almost a decade now and to see the way Hijab and his team has behaved over the years is saddening wallahi. Shamsi has remained consistent for as long as I have seen him giving dawah while Hijab has altered a lot from what is apparent. Shamsi has rarely, if ever, started any problems with hijab or any da'ee for that matter only ever defending himself or an accused. You could MAYBE argue "well he could have defended himself a little less aggressive" but be consistent and apply that to the ones who make accusations or statements of others character. Often you will find it's proportionate. To see THIS video where the issue for those three brothers with Shamsi has boiled down to "ha ha he has a slip of memory in the midst of a complex discussion" is bad enough as is but while SIMULTANEOUSLY falling short as well of the same "issue" they have with a brother. What are those brothers doing...may Allah guide us all.

It’s a scary and confusing time to be a Muslim. I’ve recently returned to the Deen Alhumdililah but it very difficult to differentiate between those who are spreading the word for the sake of Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala and those who are either intentionally or unintentionally spreading misinformation and hate.
May Allah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem guide us and protect us from those who wish to separate and deviate and make us among those he is happy with. Ameen.

The Quran and sunnah is clear and there are actual scholars you can go to if you need anything which has not already been clarified
I feel the exact same way! Something that has helped me is making dua for ‘Huda’ and usually if I have a doubt, something will appear to clear it. You can try this!

There is big difference between (someone who said something from himself and didn't link it to quran and sunnah and salafe salehin) and between (someone who said something from himself and claimed that is from Quran Sunnah and salafe salehiin)
First one linked his ideology to himself the second one linked his ideology to Quran and sunnah
I followed Hijab for about 2-3 and I thank and praise allah for pulling me away from him.

Shamsi is always smiling and seems to be at peace even when in not the happiest situations, Allahumma barik may Allah keep him steadfast upon Salafiyyah.
As a Hindu, I've grown up around several muslim friends who were very open hearted and accomodating, and we would do our separate religious prayers very peacefully without any argument.
Unfortunately, I've seen Islam being twisted and less spiritual nowadays, and it's more dominated by the rich people who are driven by ego and lust, and just use and abuse Islam as a label.
True followers of Islam are not narrow minded, very spiritual and humble beings.
I've found that hijab is quite narrow minded and feels the need to get angry and debate every single person who happens to be of a different religion. He's one of the people thats taken the spirituality and peace out of Islam and installs fear into people rather than true acceptance of it, which can only be done from being kind hearted.

More Dawah should still be done. You and Hijab are right in some areas but have made mistakes. But those are points of reflection and growth. Esp. the bit with quoting the Quran.
O brother or sister, know, may Allah bless you, that Mohammmad Hijab is a misguided individual. He has been decieving the youth/people for many years. He has diverted the people from the true scholars of Islam and Sunnah.
It is upon those who possess knowledge such as Shamsi to clarify the truth. If Shamsi and others from Ahlus Sunnah stay silent, who is going to clarify the truth to the ignorant masses (common folk)? Your comment is a great example that we are need of the scholars to clarify to us what is right and what is wrong, do not follow your own understanding or interpretation of the religion of Allah. I advice you to take you religion from the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah and Salafiyyah, who follow the Qur'an and Sunnah of Muhammad ﷺ according to the understanding of the Pious Predecessors (Salaf as-Salih). Scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets (from an authentic narration). From the scholars who are alive are Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan, Rabee ibn Hadi, 'Abdul-Muhsin al-'Abbad, 'Ali Naseer al-Faqeehi, 'Abdullah al-Bukhari and more.
And do not be decieved by the likes of Mohammad Hijab and his 'team'. Allah knows best, may He guide us to the way of the Salaf.

I have a pakistani teacher claiming he is hanafi deobandi who teaches me tafsir of quran and so far he doesn't say any tafsir that opposes tafsir ibn kathir or tafsir as sa'adi. my mom kept him for me, should I continue learning from him? he also gets paid like a few 100/200 dirham per month but before beginning he said that we can pay him if we want to and he can teach for free if we want.

Learn before you speak
Mohammed Hijab opposes the way of the Salaf as-Salih. He is not from the people of knowledge and he should be avoided. We should take our religion from the Scholars of Ahlus Sunnah and Salafiyyah - the people of knowledge, from the scholars who are alive are Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan, Rabee ibn Hadi, 'Abdul-Muhsin al-'Abbad, 'Abdullah al-Bukhari, 'Ali Naseer al-Faqeehi and more.
Beware from whom you take your religion. Indeed the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets (authentic narration), they are the most of worthy of people to learn from. Allah knows best, may Allah guide us all to the way of the Salaf as-Salih (pious predecessors).

Though I watch hijabs videos, the truth is clear from the false hood. This is why everyone must be careful of what they post online or say in public. It can come back to haunt you. I must say the video editing at the end was very funny! But at the end reality kicks in, and you see the double standards.

وَلَمَنِ انتَصَرَ بَعْدَ ظُلْمِهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ مَا عَلَيْهِم مِّن سَبِيلٍ
And indeed whosoever takes revenge after having been wronged, for such there is no way (of blame) against them.
