Hi Chris. That's informative about knowing how well trod paths are by it's depth. I've never considered that before, but it does make sense. As you say it was a most enjoyable circular walk with no trials or demands except to walk it. Glad enjoyed Chris. All the best.
Love your filming/editing etc x x x the bird sounds are beautiful x x x love the unofficial path along the pipe 😂🤣 and the view of Colden Clough ..we go quite regularly there, planning to go tomorrow all being well, but not on the side you’re on in the video..we’ve never been there, that far up x x x great to see x x x We go past the shooting hut, by the left, and up to the rocks usually …sometimes further up to the other large overhanging rocks and back down to the other reservoir …it’s all stunning ✝️🌈🕊️😇😘🥰😍 xx x Love Julie x x x
I know that Blackstone is a popular walking area, and starting from Whitehouse Pub lets people stop for a drink there. I hope your plans to walk there went well. Thanks for watching Julie & Danny, and nice to see your comments.🙂👍
What a perfect day to be up on the moors, so peaceful. I had looked at the map around there when walking Gragg Vale and plotted a route around Stoodley Pike so it was good to have a look at the area. Always wanted to visit Gaddings Dam with its little beach.
I think that's the beauty of seeing other walks and getting ideas of places. We have often noted your walks Steve giving ideas of places to visit. Made such a change with sunny weather for filming.
I must admit I’ve bever heard of a flock of twites before. Something new I’ve learned today 😊 Stoodley Pike and Blackstone Edge are more places on my to-visit list. Nice to see a few more selfies of you on this walk Shanita! 😊 Loved your chords used in “A Fantasy”, a pleasant keyboard piece. Have a great weekend 👍
Pleased you liked music track as wasn't sure about this one, so many thanks for feedback Patrick. I am sure Blackstone Edge would suit you and its near to a popular walker's White House Pub. Nice to keep in touch with your comments. Much appreciated. Hope enjoyed your hols and good weekend ahead.🙂👍
Lovely walk, Stoodly Pike with it's monument, near Todmorden is a famous UFO "hotspot". There are some interesting stories, such as the PC Alan Godfrey alleged encounter with a craft, "not of this World" in late November, 1980.
It's nice to see some parts of the Pennine Way.. I think Michael was right about the wooden slats on the floor at 04:52 .. It was all boggy there years ago . People used to walk a long way around the bog but the wooden things helped for a shorter route. Nice to hear Michael's comments. You did well to film that 8 mile walk with a camcorder .. well done .
It didn't feel like an 8 mile walk at the time because terrain so flat and simple to follow. I didn't know about those wooden slats once being a track though. This time I was using my preferred sony digital camera. It has less problems than my other cameras/camcorder. Hope keeping well David and thanks.
It was good to see your take on the Reservoirs Circuit Shanita. It's a walk I like a lot, though the track by the reservoirs is a bit of a slog. Unfortunately, the twite are virtually extinct in the South Pennines now, though I did see two near the White House earlier in the year.
I thought you might pick up on the flock of twite birds. It sounds as if they habitat around that area, but not sure on that one. It was a bit of a slog around all four reservoirs. Normally I find longer walks very tiring but quite pleased no effects at the end of this one. All the best Chris and many thanks.
A beautiful circular. It seems it's very popular too. You can tell how well trod the path is by its depths in places. Thanks for sharing, Shanita.

that looked a lovely walk shanita, nice weather too.
It was filmed earlier in the year and the first real decent sunny day. So that make a difference to usual dull weather. Thanks Ken. All best.

I never knew Stoodly Pike is a famous UFO hotspot. I'm intrigued by anything like that, so thanks for info and feedback Nick.

7:41 - car park still there Micheal!
Michael confirms it as carpark at Withins Clough. Have passed on your comments. Thanks
