ohh yeah, I remember on my school days when i learned about the magic word "seamless", quick note though, that just because the image says seamless, it doesn't mean that it actually is seamless (people lie online you know). If anyone wants to get even further into creating their own textures to use specifically for renderings, take some time to learn about "materialize" by bounding box software its free and a pretty neat tool.
hahaha you know your stuff well! I'm planning to introduce Materialize when I get into photorealistic rendering, as it makes the process of creating normal, reflectivity and other maps so much easier. And yes, the number one rule of the internet is... you can't just trust everything you find in it.
