In today's video I will show you the brand new Hilton Garden Inn Da Nang. But we will also talk about:
    - Why I believe Vietnam is going to be biggest player in South East Asia.
    - The weather in Da Nang and the best time to visit
    - My story and career with Hilton hotels
Sit back, relax and enjoy this video ;)

Hi Gabi: I cannot agree more regarding Vietnam becoming the next big hotspot in SE Asia. I love the city of DaNang and the surrounding areas. If they ever do an Elite Visa like Thailand and India I will be one of the first in line. Once again really nice video. When I was there in. May 2023 Man Thai beach (approximately 1km North of you) was stupid busy in the morning and evening. 👍

Gabi I came to the same conclusion re Vietnam V Thailand over fifteen years ago. When I first went to Vietnam I was surprised by how good the internet was. The big bonus for me was that tourism hadn't saturated the country in the way it had in Thailand. I used to regard Chiang Mai as my second home, now it's HCMC. The three month evisa is great news and I'll be taking advantage of it next month. I'll also be returning to Vietnam in February and checking out Nah Trang which I haven't seen for over a decade. The only piece of the puzzle now missing is a Vietnam retirement visa.

Great for Vietnam but I disagree with the concept of overdevelopment to serve the spoiled westerners, if they don't like it there, they can stay where they are coming from. We make the foreigner happy but nothing is done for the local workers who still don't see any improvements in their lives. The magic of Bali (amongst other popular tourists, digital nomads, expats places) completely disappeared because of this! Not a personal rant about you by the way, you do you and you are doing great with your content ;)

It is a big big barrier for tourism to grow like Bali or Thailand... Also the food industry has limited options for tourists.. We found it difficult to find options.. Unlike Bali you have local food like Nasi Goreng, Mei Goreng, few others which is easy to adapt.. This is my take..

I mean, you really have to get out of your way to find these places. you most likely won't encounter any of that. but... they definitely eat everything that walks or crawls, at least to some degree. snakes, mice, turtles, live seafood... it's a different food culture for sure.

That's what makes them unique. You either embrace it or you don't. If that's where you draw the line, then okay then. But I would think countries that allow sex tourism or allow children to be used thusly is a bigger deal than people eating an animal deemed a pet vs just killing it since they don't have animal control like in the west (same people bitching about stuff like this won't blink an eye when eating beef, which is considered sacred in India...same people whom snarf down bacon like no tomorrow with no regards nor care to the Muslims...in the other words the hypocrisy is high).

Most people that complain about the food aren't familiar with it so they don't know what to order nor how to eat it properly. I always recommend food tours in each city...heck do several from different companies in the bigger cities or touristy ones. I'm surprised you'd choose India...I surely wouldn't go there as a woman unless I enjoy harassment and groping. Sounds like you prefer the warmer climes...if you want to see majestic beauty then head to northern Vietnam.
