the first hotel view was amazing, I was looking to find an apart hotel with a view like this but with a full kitchen and a full size refrigerator - I hate those mini fridges because they are more like coolers for drinks you can't store anything that requires freezing.

stayed in haian thursday night. bellman were aggressive. had to tell them to back-off (twice). my superior room (partial sea view) was dark. hard to see inside my suitcase. safe hard to access. buffet breakfast excellent & beautiful ocean view. overall, staff tries too hard to be nice. prefer more chill.
I notice that many of the pools and common areas in many places are empty, seems like there aren't many tourists (lots of availability everywhere)? Reason for this could be that the e-visa system seems to be completely broken. My visa application has been denied for 5 times now I think, for random invalid reasons. Other people online report same issues, some say their application denied 7 times already, for 'all fields must be filled' bogus reasons. There's even a video from a law firm in Vietnam, mentioning that the visa problems result in lost revenues from foreigners who can't even come visit since the system is broken, or mismanaged by authorities. Would you have interest to make a video about it as well?
It’s rainy and low season now and usually people go to the beach more I would say. I never had any issues with the e-visas. But my friends wanted to visit me and their visa didn’t come in time so they flew to Thailand instead :( I hope they will update their e-visa portal to make it easier. I will see maybe I do a video explaining the page and applying

How long do the hotels cast shadows on the beach each day, in March?
Starting 4 pm I think depends on the highrises some spots until sunset 5-6
