Hey Keith, I coming from Jasson the BourbonMoth. What a nice Bench ;-) So you have a sub more. And now I take a very close look at your channel. Cheers from France Tim
Keith, you may or may not believe this...but there's a guy on youtube using your build as his own build. Surprisingly...he looks a lot like your helper there. Which come to think of it, his helper looks a lot like you. What a weird coincidence. However, I wanted to let you know so you could squash it!
Two professional craftsmen, one of which flew half way across the country, a whole ton of expensive exotic wood, loads of special fixings and fittings and at least 18 man/days worth of construction, delivery and installation (not counting the prelim work)! I grant you it is a thing of style and beauty but how much did the customer have to pay for this bench? It has to be far more than your average buyer could afford!
Made something similar many years ago on a deck built around a tree in the yard. Impressive. Does the shelf on the back hit your back when you lean back, noticed its proud.
Festool owe this guy a bucket load. Every time I watch his videos I find myself checking whether they haven't suddenly decided to halve the price of their domino jointers. Alas no. The cost to my marriage of that purchase is still too high.
Beautiful work as always Keith, I have a customer who would like a similar bench built, I have just purchased your plans for the built. Could you tell me how many board feet of Sapele you used, the plans only have the cut list not total board feet, Having total board feet would help me cost the job out. Thanks.
Amazing build, thanks for sharing! One thing I was wondering: did you seal the roman numerals with epoxy as well? Would be a shame if water accumulated in there and deteriorated this beautiful bench over time. Again: amazing craftmanship, congrats!

Fantastic job!👍🏻
Thank you! 👍
Great job you guys! Very entertaining and excellent results as expected. Thanks for posting.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks a lot, Jeff!
This guy is so talented! The furniture he makes is gorgeous! What a great video! I wonder what kind of wood this is? Mahogany?
Thank you very much! Yes, it is sapele mahogany.
I watched this whole process on your instagrams. The video really doesn’t do the amount of work that went into this justice.
Thanks George! I kind of thought the same thing...the video kind of made it seem like we breezed through it 😂. It's tough to condense 80 hours of work into such a short video
They say perfection doesn't exist but you guys are so close! greetings from an argentinian carpenter
Too kind!! Thank you very much!
How did you react when he told you all you were getting was a small flask of Bourbon as payment?
Not well, since I don't drink 😂
It's look pretty good :) Greetings from Galicia (Spain)
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow what a project. Congrats on the final outcome.......it's stunning.
Thanks so much!
Been waiting for this since I first heard about it. Finishing here and heading over to Jason’s version. Worth the wait! Thanks for the content. It’s awesome!
Awesome! So glad you liked it and that it was worth the wait!
good work Keith, I like when 2 great woodworker works together on one project and making fun of each other. you guys need to do this more often.
Thanks so much!! It doesn't happen often, but it's such a fun experience when it does!
At least you're honest...... he didn't put all the mishaps, in his video. 😂😂😂
I absolutely love the project!!! And the collaboration, was spot on!!! You guys are awesome, and both videos were a pleasure to watch.
Thanks so much, Joel!! We had a ton of fun building it, despite the hiccups...😜😂
@@KeithJohnsonCustomWoodworkingBro, this was fun to watch, I can only imagine how fun it was to be there.
Fair dues to Neil for recording the sketch for BOTH videos
