My god. This is my favorite marimba piece performed, ever. The sheer cooperation and coordination required makes it the pinnacle of musical communication. The piece is written beautifully, but you two played it even more brilliantly. The vast differences in dynamics and tempo changes were executed nigh-flawlessly, and I'm sure that those few moments when the two of you were playing rhythmically dissonant were extremely difficult to pull off, but they shone through stunningly. I'm running out of adjectives to describe this! I played rhythmic percussion in marching band for 4 years, and am now in the US Air Force, and can only practice piano sparingly. I want you to know that what you have done here is nothing short of a masterpiece. What you've done here is something that few people would strive for, and that even fewer are able to achieve. This level of musical ability and dedication is something that I hope both of you are very, very proud of. Thank you.
