Regular viewer of the red and blue brands, mostly watch TNA matches here on YT, but I stumbled onto NXT last week and watched on a whim, saw Jordynne come out to challenge Roxanne and watched the rest of the show bc I was so excited. Watched last night just to see Jordynne wrestle and she did not disappoint. We're watching Battleground to see what happens and wouldn't be doing so otherwise. Big Mama Pump is money and I really hope the attention improves both companies and all the talent.

NXT peaks and dips a lot due to talent getting called up but with Jordynne and Ethan this show should be really good as it’s pretty unpredictable. It’s the show most like TNA of all of them.

She absolutely stands right out and would in any promotion. That's been proven already because of the reactions shes had in WWE. Just look at Jade Cargill. Jordynne has the look and is way better in the ring than Jade.

That was awful and meant nothing. Awesome got up and left after a minute long match.
That was awesome for like a week, because it was like unbelievable. But then Vince put Tazz in the midget division, and had him jobbing to a washed up Big Bossman 6 months into his WWE career.
I dunno if I'm wrong but wasn't tazz booked before he signed or after he signed with wwe at the time I know Paul heyman mentioned it an tazz dropped the ecw title after winning it.

The "weird girl touching the title" that Tommy Dreamer was referring to is actually Tatum Paxley, not Blair Davenport. Blair moved up to the main roster when she was recently drafted to Smackdown.

Here I was thinking Jordynn Grace winning was obvious to get more crossover into TNA Against All Odds and possibly through Heatwave.

A crossover champion would be such a huge stride in the right direction, for both companies!
They should allow several TNA talent to attend the Battleground PLE as "Moral Support" for Jordynne Grace. They could be overcome with emotion and rush the ring to cause the double DQ and still keep it interesting.
Nxt women vs tna women at survivor series?
THIS is what I see happening. Gail Kim and several KO talent show up sitting in the front row and don't get involved until some of the NXT roster interject themselves. I'd REALLY love to see Havok and Jax face each other in a classic SS match.

Something fun TNA and NXT could think of doing is have a trade of belts where Jordynne Grace beats Roxanne Perez for the NXT Championship then at Against All Odds Roxanne beats Jordynne for the Knockouts World Championship. Later on both companies get there respected belts back by Giulia beating Grace and Gisele Shaw beating Roxanne.

All sounds good up until Gisele. WWE doesn’t do intergender matches.
Bully's angle is alright. Jordynne should win the NXT women's title, but she should hold it defending it in TNA with WWE talent challenging her until defeated by Guilia.
He is wrong because that basically leaves Roxanne out in the cold. NXT wants Roxanne vs Guilia.
I'm still in shock that this relationship is happening. No one could predict WWE working with TNA. Hopefully both sides benefit from this and hopefully it's long-term. WWE is definitely in the HHH era. Plus wrestlers keeping their names is amazing on its own.
They worked together before! They did a trade with Ric Flair and Christian for brief appearances.
I'd put Jordan over Perez; A) the former is more established/ legitimate and B) it makes for a good sales pitch for future recruitment. With Perez, you have a starlet in the making, but she is so young, that an early loss does no lasting damage and I can't imagine that her ego is so big as this would bother her (it's a huge matchup). Furthermore, I'd mix things up by having Jordan's Open Challenge for the Knockouts Title be answered by another WWE superstar altogether, win or loss (main roster even). Maybe do a wash finish that circles back to TNA talent for that one.
WWE can get their win back on one of the other crossover matchups that have been flooding the rumor mill. First impressions matter most anyway.
There are 4 things for me that NXTNA needs to do.
One, they need to put this in the main event.
Two, Jordynne Grace wins by a distraction from TNA.
Three, Ava gets in the ring, but Jordynne finishes her with the Juggernaut bomb, then Shawn comes out and chases Jordynne out.
4th and last, the person distract, and WWE signs Scott D’Amore.
2 would buried TNA even more because if someone like Grace, who size and taller than Roxanne, need distraction to beat Roxanne.
I’ll tell you what if Cargill doesn’t improve by years end the push they had for her will fade and be given to Grace cuz she is ready to go now and has been impressive

Big tna fan was at tour in Scotland last year and this was first time I've watched nxt. So it will work both ways with fans of each checking out the other . Would love a joint ppv
Great points brought up in this stream. I’d love to see Jordynn Grace be the one to ignite that 2 belt/cross bridge champion gap! Maybe we get some sort of tie but shouldn’t we shoot for the stars if you want Grace to eventually become a WWE superstar? Or make NXT feel even bigger? In every fibre of Grace’s being she is a trend setter/leader; so let her do it at Battleground and being everything up. Let more cross company matches happen! I bet WWE & UFC saw what AEW was up to and decided to get on the band wagon of constant cross pollination.
Can you possibly do an episode dedicated to wrestling schools? That would be interesting! I’ve thought about getting into wrestling. I am going to work on getting into shape once I get to Texas!

I have two suggestions, Tatum Paxley or for a surprise, Cora Jade
Tatum has a strong obsession with Championship gold so I can see that, meanwhile I can Cora Jade because she has history with Roxanne.
(I already know that Cora is injured but from for her recent videos, it showed that she's recovering very fast. So I hope to see her again on NXT fr)

Why hasn't anyone hired Bully for creative? TK and NXT could benefit from his time in the business. Devon is already at WWE, so they could have a brief reunion of the Dudleyz. When The Hardyz return to WWE - they could use some legends promo for 2-3 minutes.

If a TNA World Champion cannot beat a Third Tier champion of WWE will not make Grace or TNA stronger it will just accentuate the WWE being a dominant brand.....Bully and Tommy pander for those sweet WWE bucks and do not want to mess up potential guest spots....
I think she’d benefit greatly both in-ring and on promos from some legit time in NXT, working out daily at the PC & all that. TNA runs so infrequently that it would rarely if ever interfere with NXT TV or PLE’s, so she could still work all of their stuff as well.

Would love to see and men’s and Women’s Undisputed Crossover Champion where the belt isn’t tied to one specific brand and can be defended on both brands on all levels of WWE as well as on TNA. Would be great for above average wrestlers but not so much main events. Shinsuke’s , Ricochets, Draganovs , Lashley, , KO, Finn Balors
I feel like this is a nod to the old territory days. Where a champion would travel and face the top guys in other territories to give them a rub. I think it's good exposure, and definitely good for business as a whole.
There is no benefit for WWE to have Jordynne beat Roxanne if I’m being honest unless there is some sort of agreement that Jordynne will be a WWE wrestler after her contracts up. Especially when Giulia is set to be coming into NXT and challenging Roxanne at the next NXT PLE.

I would have Jordynne win the title and have a legit little run with it. TNA would benefit huge from that because that will definitely get them new viewers and have Giulia be the one to beat her for the title and bring it back to NXT. That would be a great way to introduce Giulia to the NXT roster. Everyone wins big.
IDK how I missed the Aj/ LA fight at WM that Dave mentions @ 28:10, just watched the un-censored video of that. Was THAT a work? IF so, damn they were REALLY convincing.
There might have been some receipts exchanged during that. The better they sell the fight at a non TV event, the more you draw the fans in.

This Anthem Sports and Entertainment (TNA Wrestling) and Endeavor TKO (World Wrestling Entertainment) is the most polite and professional talent raid or talent grooming. So far, this TNA Wrestling and WWE "partnership" is Endeavor TKO polishing up Jordynne Grace for a WWE contract, or better yet Anthem Sports and Entertainment polishing up TNA Wrestling to sell to Endeavor TKO lol.
The Pro Wrestling alternative in TNA Wrestling to the evil empire of the Sports Entertainment WWE lived long enough to become apart of the "evil empire lol.

What's going on is really cool, but the reason for all this is HHH's plan to get Jordyn Grace in WWE when her contract is up. You don't think HHH is talking with Grace behind closed doors to get a feel on if Grace is thinking about signing with them after her contract is done. I just think it's a plan to get close with Jordyn. Maybe I'm wrong.

if you are giving me control of booking for this alone? Grace beats Perez for the NXT belt. Perez takes the open challenge at bound for Glory and perez wins. the rematch for both belts happens at Money in the bank opening match, a ladder match similar to the tag team ladder match at Wrstle mania. One belt on one hook, one belt on the other hook. Grace grabs the the tna belt, perez the nxt belt. Can feature run ins from tna and nxt women to help build the next feuds for both women .

I think it's interesting that WWE's trying to mimic the feel of the AEW/NJPW/CMLL Forbidden Door ppv. And I really hope that WWE allows TNA wrestlers to appear on Raw and SmackDown, if not just NXT. But that would gain WWE nothing, and just use their own TV time to promote smaller companies. That is not what they do historically. WWE is a successful monopolist, and I think this is just another strategy to co-opt, and absorb smaller promotions.

12:23 the answer bully is bringing her in to lose does literally nothing other then create spectacul, having her come in and win and becoming an obsticle for whomever you're trying to build up as the next name, you bulldoze a bunch of undercard talent, say 2-3 ppvs, maybe some weekly matches and then you set up who you want to run with that tittle for the next 6+ months and have them win.
I don't consider Moxley being the IWGP champion a surprise when AEW stole all the top talent and NJPW needs someone big with the title and to be honest NJPW would put any WWE star at the top but regardless what is happening with NXT and TNA could be something special and I wanna see Grace win and this setting up Roxanne going to TNA to get the title back and possibly bringing in a few others from each side to build to something bigger. Maybe Josh Alexander show's up or someone who helps Grace win and this could have Trick Williams stand up for NXT and we get another huge crossover match. At the end of the day WWE wants Grace at some point so I expect her to walk out Sunday with her TNA title and now the New NXT women's champion.

I like Bully Ray's idea better than what really happened. The reality didn't sit well with me. Roxanne didn't sell Jordan's finisher. I felt it didn't make her look good. I am highly disappointed in WWE over it.

Whole thing is if you don't put the title on Grace, then what was the point of bringing her in? Having her there gets attention for a moment but if she loses, fans just go "yup, thought so - wwe couldn't pull the trigger in this one" and now fans are ticked and don't want to watch. It is short term gain but long term loss and it seems like wwe is trying to move away from that. In terms of what Bully said about TNA selling HBK and HHH on putting the title on her, it isn't up to TNA to sell that - that has to be wwe's suggestion right from the start. If wwe reaches out to TNA and says they want Grace to put Roxanne over in a match, what's TNA gaining by allowing it? This isn't the Rumble, this is just an NXT ppv - TNA would be stupid to agree to that. But if HHH said he has an idea about putting the title on her, then TNA has a reason to think about it.
What if she wins the NXT title and then at the TNA ppv, someone from NXT challenges and she somehow loses her TNA title? Now you don't worry about TNA doing something because you have their title. Let the companies swap titles for a month or so, build up rematches and then the titles return to their proper companies. That gets attention for both TNA and wwe and the fans see it as something special.

The TNA championship isn’t on the line so I see no need for a double DQ/count out unless they wanted to do a rematch. Let one of them win and one of them lose. If Jordynne loses have it be controversial. But I’d like to see her take the belt to TNA for a month or two and eventually drop it back on NXT.

Nowadays they don't argue over cross branding. They just split the overall profits.
I guess another heel from nxt to get involved and cost Jordan grace. And then that would start the seeds of an invasion angle. And that could work the other way. Tna is coming into the territory of nxt. Another tna person gets involved and costs Roxanne and then nxt can invade tna to try and get their title back.
Shirt problem is simple. Sell two shirt variants, share the trademark . Red and Gold for TNA through their website they get 90% of the profits and WWE takes 10%, and a Black and Gold shirt for NXT where WWE gets 90% and 10% goes to TNA.
TNA would be heavily incentivized to make revenue from the monster of wweshop website and not solely their own
With Natalya’s contract expiring I’d have her cost Roxanne and then have Natalya win the TNA Knockout title since Grace has an open contract right? She could then sign a yr contract there.
Personally just do an invasion angle. Let jordynne win the title. Roxanne and other nxt stars do a tna invasion and let them feud and have cross promotion ppv.
