One thing you definitely need for next year is a Time Warp tunnel. With glowing paint and a black light in it with the spinning effects. definitely have to make sure there's guardrails in it so they don't tip lean to the right end up falling. With some rocky horror show music playing.
Watching your videos is hyping me up for Halloween - you do some incredible work and I'm sure the neighborhood knows you as the "cool" house during Halloween. It's been a dream of mine to do haunts like this but now that I own my house I realize our location isn't the best. Although I live in a small neighborhood, our town has a main street where kids trick or treat. The entire street is closed off for the event and no one really tricks or treats at individual homes. Would you go through all this great work if you had little to no trick or treaters? My thought process is if I continue to do things every year - perhaps more and more people will know and show up. What do you think?
Our old town does this too and we seek out the houses that really goes all out, they start to become known from everyone every year, each house even starts hyping the other houses that they know about and since them to you. We go after the town trunk r treat. So I would say yes, go ahead and do it and try get the word out as much as possible before hand.
Really enjoyed those videos are you doing the haunted house this year and I was wondering how do you connect all your DMX stuff to motion sensors and how to make all the props and stuff because I’ve got some DMX lighting and fog machines and I think it be a cool element to my haunted house
Very great work, I’m inspired. Can I ask you where you buy your sound effect motion sensors?. Like the monster and owl particular? Is it pieced together or as a package?
@@ZombieHaunter408 how hard is it get out sound and program the boo flex. I have a fog jet and want to do a radiation alert with a leak from a reactor.
@@loneagle1412 It's pretty simple if you use the Director software (free download). Great idea by the way. Check out some of my other videos and you can see an alert I did on a fallout shelter theme (I think it's the 2014 haunt).
Man oh man. Came out exactly as good as l was hoping for. You’re a master at your craft sir. An idea. This was something l noticed with my lasers last year. The hard lines on the walls just bugged me. My Dad suggested building in a recessed spot into the wall about 2” tall and 2” deep where the lines come into contact with the wall. It will pull the hard line back out of sight. A whole lot of extra work but the effect would be infinite fog and darkness. With my haunt it was hard walls so not as feasible as it would be with your setup. How was the slipperyness? I know you have that rubber matting down. Did that alleviate any slippery feeling on the floor?
Great idea! We have stall mats in the garage for our gym, and they have good traction. There was a lot of fog in there all night with now excess moisture and nobody slipped. Thanks again for always commenting and giving feedback! Cheers!
Hi, I want to do a swamp style effect in my garage but I am new to all of this. I wanted to use blue but have read that it is not as effective as green. Have you noticed if the blue hides as well as the green? I’ve been looking at lasers as you suggested in another video. I have about a 25x25 space. How many lasers would you suggest? Also, on eBay it gives a choice of dot or line last... I’m assuming line? Sorry for all the questions! I am trying to do this in an affordable way. Your videos are the most informative that I have found. Thank you for any answers!
I’d go with green for hiding. It’s much brighter and more effective. It’s also less expensive and yes, you want the line version. For 25x25 you should use a minimum of 6 (3 for each side).
Thank you! Try Froggy's Fog, but also check Amazon and Bay for better deals. Watch my other videos that explain the power levels etc. It's very important to get lasers that are strong enough, so be wary of cheap imitations. www.froggysfog.com/additional-products/lighting/lasers.html
If you want low lying swamp fog, then I would recommend using a thick fog fluid (Froggy's has many types) and yes--a chiller produces even better results than thick fog alone. If you want to use lasers for the effect where you can't see below the fog, then you actually want more of a haze type fog without a chiller.
Hey man, sorry for all the questions. I found several lasers on ebay for around $32.00 each. Industrial 532nm 50mW green laser with power adapter and bracket. Should I get the line laser or dot? Also there's a 30mW for $19 each. Is that good enough for this? I was going to get 8-10 of them.
@@billybelmonte Sorry for the delay. You MUST get the LINE Laser. The dot laser will not work for the effect. Buy the 50mW laser as 30mW might not be strong enough.
@@ZombieHaunter408 awesome man thanks. I’ll most likely set up a full on laser swamp after new years because things will be super cheap and Halloween is all year long.
Your channel really deserves more subs. The displays you make every year are great.

Awesome job!!!!! What controller did you use with the the fog jets???
Pico DMX or Boo Box Flex with DMX added (Fright Props sells them). The fog jets also come with a remote if you wanted to manually set them off.

Super fun!! 2020 Halloween isn’t the same.
Great job, is the room filled with fog and the blue lasers just create the sky?
Awesome man thanks. Do the lasers have that spread?
You need line lasers. There is a difference. Go back and watch my video on creating and setting up a laser swamp--I talk about it there.

Are they just a straight laser beam similar to that of a laser pointer?

What lights are those shining on the house looks like black light
Just blue LED floodlights. Everybody comments on the blue--the neighborhood loves the look of those lights. They are OnForYou rb.gy/fzpfu7.
Great job!
So good!
