Dont hesitate to use your french knowledge in France or with french people , as a French teenager I can assure you that we love your english accents and most of the people will not judge you ! Good luck !

Your English accent is amazing! It's so difficult to master a foreign language's phonetics, especially if they're very different than your native language. I think this video is really helpful because you've already figured out how to adopt English phonetics. Very impressive!
This is what I was looking for! Your teaching is brilliant! I'm struggling to pronounce the words with nasal sounds... If you could make a video on how to practice the nasal sounds as in excercises, it would be great! Thanks in advance! Loads of love and best wishes from, India.
From what I’m learning/observing: 1. The French mouth is held much firmer than the relaxed English speaking mouth. 2. French syllables seem to, more often than not, end on a vowel sound rather than the much of the consentent ending English syllables. 3. French doesn’t use the long diphthongs like we do in English. Am I correct with these?
I think all romance languages have this trait in which we " exaggerate or lip movement to pronounce words properly, which does not happen in English, that's why when I speak English I fell my tongue numb
Tiens. C’est ma toute première fois d’entendre quelqu’un de France qui parle presque un parfait l’anglais. Votre accent madame, c’est quasiment parfait. I am really so impressed. Thank you for the lesson. ❤
I learned French in high school on exchange. I became interested in phonetics when I took a class in college later. As an American girl, I really loved and appreciated your lesson! It was very thorough and it was perfect for me because your accent is very similar to mine. Thank you!!
Merci beaucoup. I have been learning French just for 1 week and I understood that the correct prononciation of sounds is the most difficult part for me. Your lesson is really helpful!
I started a French class in my office today, and I am glad I came across your channel. Your English is excellent; your teaching method superb; and you also look amazing - it is almost unfair having all these attributes ;)
I can remember most words and spell them correctly but I always read them by syllable, which is how we speak in the Philippines. This is a very handy guide especially for people who has trouble with speaking. Thank you for making this very informative and explaining things clearly ❤
Hello dear teacher Thank you so much for your help and advice,i do appreciate your job.I wish you peace and happiness under the sky of prosperity. Take care and have a good time. All the best. Your Student from Algeria.
Thank you so much!!! This really helped since my French teacher just made my class repeat a few vowels twice, then moved on to something else and she’s never reviewed vowels again. Now we don’t know how to pronounce things correctly and just try to imitate the pronunciation of the teacher but fail pretty badly at it. This will be very useful, thanks!!!!!
So true. I have always tease my French Husband saying French has so many nasal sounds. This video really helps. I do feel I sound more gentle when speaking French... Hehe.
*died at "best seller" 😀 I love French soo much. J'adore les français trop. I'm learning, because I want to be fluent. Thanks so very much for these videos 💛🌻
I knew it, French is so hard for me since I really can't pronounce how the nasal sounds are hard, Okay I'll stick to Polish language lol, But this video taught me so very well and now you give me an inspiration to learn French, Anyways I'm a Filipino, I speak Tagalog and English as Bilingual person, And I'm currently studying Polish and I got no problem on it, except to grammar haha, and now French thank you for helping me and other who wanted to learn French.
this is so helpful i was always so scared to learn french in school in canada bc they never taught how to really get the accent down and i found myself speaking french in an english accent 😭😭
This video is really useful! I love how you show the articulation of the words (as a studier of linguistics that is particularly helpful). Thank you!!!!
Dans l'exemple Bordeaux, il faut expliquer que le premier son "o" est plus ouvert car il y a deux consonnes après. Exemple "colle" o est ouvert et dans "coloré" les deux o sont fermés.
I like what you said about computer at 10:20 because In Spain they say “el ordenador” but in Mexico and I assume other parts of South America they use “la computadora”
Thank you, this was VERY helpful! As an idea, would you be willing to address the difference in pronunciation between all the singular vs.plural forms of pronouns+conjugated verbs corresponding to these pronouns, especially when there is no help from the context and the verbs does not start with an "h" or a vowel (il vs. ils, elle vs. elles, "il mange" vs. "ils mangent" and so forth)?
As always, your english is impeccable! One of perhaps three french speakers that says “(mis)pronunciation” properly. The difference with “pronounce” understandably throws non-native speakers for a loop! I’m always amused by the bitter irony
Ohh great! Your gesticulate, accents are very impressive as well as the way of advising is excellent for me (and all) how to learn and speak. Thanks dear
Great Help this video👍👍👍 Most of the French lesson I have been practicing with speak way to fast learning these tips really help Looking forward to more of your videos.😄👍 Merci.
I am learning French right now and it's been around 3 months. This video is very helpful and I recommend this to other French amateur learners who are looking to improve their speaking skills.
Great video! Very useful for an Indian trying to learn French and get the hang of the accent. Thank you for making it and I look forward to checking out the other video, whose link you've shared. Merci bcp!
Your pronunciation is so helpful!! Thank you! I would make one point coming from a man who lives in a very bilingual area (English/Spanish) - if the French is mispronounced in English, then it is the same the other way around. Though I would prefer to say as you said of the English used in every day French, that the English has now taken these French words into its own language and accent (if partially for many words) - as is the normal development of language. Anywho, please don't let this make you think I am not extremely grateful for your help in my pronunciation of French! Besides helping when I am visiting France (and Geneve), this helps me look better in front of my English speaking students at home (even though they can't tell that I am not pulling off the accent perfectly).
I can read and understand french when people talk to me in it but i have a french speaking test coming up it’s been really stressful TT. this was helped though ^^
Bonjour, j'ai appris la langue en France. Maintenant mes enfants viennent de commencer l'école dans un lycée français au Mexique, dans la section anglaise, et là ils prennent des cours de français trois heures par semaine mais j'ai rémarqué des petites choses dans la prononciation de la professeur, pourriez-vous faire une vidéo avec la prononciation des mots demain, orange, bleu, aujourd'hui, peux, je ne sais pas si elle fait des fautes ou si c'est une autre manière de les dire. Merci beaucoup!
very great lesson;you are very good teacher;I am getting interested in french; I will appreciate if you teach French from alphabet and basics to advance French. you are very very beautiful also and love your smile.
Virginie, merci beaucoup. Présentement, je suis enseignante de français mais aussi je suis en train d'apprendre cette langue. J'aime bien tes vidéos :D
For the French letter cluster Ain, I pronounce it like the English sound / e / + / ng /, here / e / is the sound of letter E in the word Pet, / ng / is the sound of letter Ng in the word Sing; For On, I voice it like the English / o / + / ng /, here / o / is the sound of letter O in the word Or, but without the / r / sound, and / ng / sound as mentioned above; For An, I sound it like the English / a / + / ng /, here / a / is the sound of letter A in Father. Please comment ^ ^ Merci !

Your English accent is so good I didn’t know if you were a native french speaker or not at first.
Spoken French is a like a beautiful song to me - truly melodic when I listen to it, absolutely off key when I sing it!
And I'm here after French music

Taking French in school and I'm lost on the stuff you all do with your throat. Need a lesson on tongue placement and throat sounds
Just gather saliva in your mouth and hold it in place as u speak
This is what I was looking for! Your teaching is brilliant!
