My number one advice is that you need to really understand the enemies properly to deal with them. There are a variety of weapons and enemies and the way damage works in the game is not all intuitive. Most games work with a health bar system, and hitting weakspots simply does more damage to that one health bar. I'm not saying that doesn't exist in helldivers at all, but for the most part the ways to kill enemies in helldivers 2 completely circumvents it. Think of every single part of an enemy as having its own health bar. Every limb is a separate health bar. Additionally, enemy's armor is a separate system from weak points. A weak point can be behind heavy armor, and an exposed part can be very beefy. The absolute best example of this is Chargers. If you spread out your damage on a charger, it will take AGES to kill it. But there are some conditions that will instantly kill the Charger. Stripping his head armor or damaging one leg enough will instantly finish him off. Additionally, popping his ass will incapacitate it, and die after a few seconds. As a result, there are some very quick and reliable ways to kill chargers. 2 seconds of continuous flamethrower focused on one leg. An Anti-Tank rocket to the face. An Anti-Tank rocket to a leg, stripping the armor, then focusing it down with any weapon. Stunning the charger, then popping the ass with 2 seconds of heavy machine gun fire. Then there's the other side, understanding the enemy's attack methods and tactics. Hunters will attempt to flank you before striking, so when you have a bug breach, you should progressively back off, disallowing that so that you can deal with all bugs coming from the roughly the same direction. Bugs will generally chase down the player, so unless you can create a lot of distance, they will stay aggro'd. Finish off hordes COMPLETELY, don't leave any stragglers, or you will get more bug breaches and get overwhelmed in the future. Meanwhile on the bots side, bots don't aggressively pursue divers nearly as much. Additionally they are fairly stupid and blind at times. If you break line of sight, they can easily lose track of you, allowing you to flank them or disengage, as they will just check out the last spot they saw you. They are also slow and won't chase you endlessly, so often times if there's a bot drop and you don't need to be there, just run pre-emptively and move on elsewhere. Generally speaking trying to face bots fair and square will leave you helplessly lost. Bots set up bunkers outposts with many tools at their disposal to prevent head-on attacks. Stratagems are especially effective at just chucking into objectives before you hide. Even stratagem jammers can be dealt with relatively easily if you can avoid a dropship there and sneak in. There are surprisingly little enemies once you're actually inside their little bunkers. Oof, this comment ended up very long. TL;DR understanding your enemy is key.
The spear is probably the most effective base and defense clearing weapon. You just need to know how to use it and how the computer targeting system works. For one, having the higher ground makes using it much more effective. Always make sure to get to higher ground than your target or find a hill/rock before aiming. The target needs to be in complete view in order to be targeted. The computer does not recognize parts of a target as we do, therefore if part of the target is obscured by say a rock, fence, other target, even flag, tree etc it will not target so you have to position yourself to get a clear shot. It's not that great at heavy units, as one might expect, but once you learn how, You can quickly and easily take out bases, fabricators, turrets, and gun ships from nearly halfway across the map

One thing that I think you should've mentioned is that against bots fabricators that were apart of a base housing a side or main objective do NOT count as outposts, you can safely kill the objective and just leave the fabricators, in any case they will spawn bots which take up the spawn cap, making less enemies spawn. (Example: You see a detector tower and stealth your way towards it, *You place the hellbomb on the ground below the hill (which will destroy it if placed correctly)* arm it and then leave, if there was a fabricator on the other side of the base you dont have to worry about destroying it as it is *NOT* Counted as an outpost structure, you will still get 5 stars leaving these fabricators alive.

Know your enemy, I use different builds for Terminids and Automatons so don’t be afraid to try things out on the lower difficulties. You can also ask to use peoples support stratagems, most will call you down one. This is a training manual tip, but the number one thing that gets people killed is they panic when being swarmed which is common in higher difficulties.. Don’t panic, and you’ll be able to get out of most situations.
The number one advice I have is to pay attention to your surroundings,l and look out for your teammates! Shooting every enemy in sight will not get you more in-game currency in-game but it will make team wipes and wasting time fighting more likely. Yes, that patrol spawns to get in your way and will likely double back to get you, but every patrol or stationary group has the potential to summon a wave. Fight them on your terms when you have the ammo and defeating them gains you something. If someone is reloading and a patrol or charger is barreling on them, give them cover fire! Distract the enemy! Against the Terminids, don't run off on your own when Stalkers are in-play (Extreme and above difficulty). No weapon loadout will kill a stalker in-your-face before it combos you 20 meters away near-death. If 2 or more stalkers ambush you, you are considered dead as they will strike, retreat, cloak, and swap with other stalkers. If you're lucky, you'll get a stim off before the 2nd one finishes you. If you like to spam Stratgems or AOE weapons, make sure your team is not pushing the target area or in-front of you! Team-kills will drain your reinforcement pool! If the pool is empty, everyone needs to play conservatively and even abandon non-primary objectives; A team wipe at this point means everyone receives nothing! Avoid running around with activated offensive stratagems! If at anytime you get knocked down, you will drop an airstrike or orbital bombardment on yourself and have enough time to get up before you and nearby teammates get nuked. Enemies, environmental hazards, explosions, falling off a cliff, and friendly fire melee will cause this! Avoid spamming stratagems on extract. The dropship will leave after 1 peraon boards if it takes heavy damage, and that will reduce the mission rewards. If you or someone gets stuck or knocked down, they'll get killed.
when running my helldives if I notice the team calling in extract at about 20 minutes I tell them to wait because we prob left something (Im a 5 stars lunatic), its harder with randoms but Id rather play with them than my friends who are stuck at around level 20-30 and like bugs more. If you get out way before 10 minutes on the mission clock you left something behind, whether its an outpost or side objective you arent getting 5 stars.
The localization confuser just adds 10% or smth to the cooldown of bug breaches and bot drops. So basically extending the grace period between enemy call ins by like 5 seconds.
Trying to run away but hulks are catching you? Two choices; 1) Leg the hulk, this slow them down by about 90% 2) Pop a smoke strategem as both orbital and eagle are useful. If Bots can't see you, they'll shoot your last known position, so drop a smoke and move sideways afterwards. You'll lose 'em every time... unless you hit another patrol.
Considering how blind they are, if you're hitting another patrol, it's because you're running away too fast or waiting too long to start running away so the other patrol got close.
Bot loadout MO: Autocannon support (He says its ammo hungry but I disagree, while autocannon sniping bot fabs I can go around the entire map with almost just a single autocannon, when it does run out I can either resupply or call in a new one almost instantly), eagle airstrike (same dmg as 500kg but more AoE and more uses per eagle rearm), orbital precision strike (Literally a Rail strike with a way lower cooldown), Orbital Laser (As he says its good for clearing bot bases, I use it on the relatively flat one that has 4 fabricators and a ton of hulks on it, any experienced helldive player should know what bot base layout im talking about)
Localization Confusion does work. You'll notice it more during eradication missions, where you're often sitting on your hands waiting for the next wave to arrive. I wish people would stop taking this to eradication missions.
Yeah brother. A lot of people try and give up because there's actually 2! Sets of doors in a fabricator. The second set opens when releasing a new wave of bots, but close when the first set do. If the spawn cap is reached then the second doors don't open. If you observe carefully you can see it happen. I set my lighting to low detail so your ability to see it may vary. It may be pretty but I hate being blinded every objective that we activate >__

If you're low on super credits: PLAY LOW DIFFICULTY MISSIONS!!!! Thing is with teammates,it has never worked for me planning around them Once they get they're weapon or backpack they won't get u one So I need to forsake team planning and be selfish to get my stuff
My lvl 134 10-star general advice is: Use breaker+railgun bugs, Scorcher+Railgun bots and git gud...On both instances 500kg+orbital laser(laser being the most optional since most of the time you olnly get 3 strats anyways). Playing with other ppl is just to increase the difficulty of helldives so if you want ez games just solo.
Try to use power steering to get away from the big crowd, and go prone as soon as you land. Unless you're pretty much in melee range of a bot, they won't see you. But that's with scout armor, might be a little harder with something Else
Robots are easy, in fact the only time I have killed any bugs are in the tutorial. I also play solo, so like when I encounter a tank I just destroy what I need to and then run, most of the enemies you don’t actually have to fight. You can just run.
@@kamikeserpentail3778it CAN be great if you get lucky. I like running it on solo playthroughs, but it's too inconsistent and requires team communication to use safely.
Man, I would rather have three slots than bug spores. Don't disable my mini map. God damn. And honestly, I kind of find solo helldive to be easier than with a team. Because when I go solo I can look at the situation and think where am I going to approach from? Where am I going to retreat to? Should I create a diversion? Which targets are the top priority? When I play with a bunch of randoms? They just run in shooting and then run to the next location and things can fall apart very quickly... It's why some of them complain about bot towers sniping them from across the map but those pretty much never shoot at me. 380 barrage takes a long time to land, and then lasts a long time. It's a great diversion to draw enemy reinforcements to a location you don't plan to stick around. And the precision strike is just good in general. I hear eagle strikes can't take down the eye of sauron, but precision strike works for me every time.

Whatever you do don't listen to this dude as he just regurgitating nonsense he heard other people who don't know anything say
I personally love heavy armour cause it let's me get away with a good amount of things like sitting on a rock and just hosing bullets out before I'm sniped by a rocket which I can comfortably survive because of the armour+fortified AND (afaik) crouching and proving reduces explosive damage including the rockets and allows you to "almost" walk away mostly fine

I'm happy i reached level 10, now i can actually last in hard matches. Just got this last week and in loving it on my steam deck.
Avoid unnecessary combat is the biggest tip i can give. Especially biletitans and tanks if they aint in the way just run past em
Trying to run away but hulks are catching you? Two choices;
1) Leg the hulk, this slow them down by about 90%
2) Pop a smoke strategem as both orbital and eagle are useful.
BUT, did you consider dying for liberty? There IS a third choice. A primary choice. I sense cowardice and will alert my democracy officer right away
Wait, how did you customise you armour colors ?
It's a starter armor I think. Check your armory
@@Karazu1kun you have it in blue somehow, are those mods ? Because I didn't get those
Good job, nice video
How did you change the color of your armor
It's a preorder armour set
Bot loadout MO: Autocannon support (He says its ammo hungry but I disagree, while autocannon sniping bot fabs I can go around the entire map with almost just a single autocannon, when it does run out I can either resupply or call in a new one almost instantly), eagle airstrike (same dmg as 500kg but more AoE and more uses per eagle rearm), orbital precision strike (Literally a Rail strike with a way lower cooldown), Orbital Laser (As he says its good for clearing bot bases, I use it on the relatively flat one that has 4 fabricators and a ton of hulks on it, any experienced helldive player should know what bot base layout im talking about)
Where the blue helmet come from?
You start with it
Localization Confusion does work. You'll notice it more during eradication missions, where you're often sitting on your hands waiting for the next wave to arrive.
I wish people would stop taking this to eradication missions.
You can throw grenades through the factory doors? I always aimed for the vents exclusively
How do you drop samples on PS5?
14:42 lmaooo PLEASE?!😂
what armour is that
How is your armor blue and white?
I’ve learned something from being a new player and experiencing the release of a new warbond… save some medals beforehand.
Save up, but beware the medal cap. I think it's 250 right now.
noticed I did a lot of yapping across multiple comments so I put it all in one:
Comment 1:
One thing that I think you should've mentioned is that against bots fabricators that were apart of a base housing a side or main objective do NOT count as outposts, you can safely kill the objective and just leave the fabricators, in any case they will spawn bots which take up the spawn cap, making less enemies spawn.
(Example: You see a detector tower and stealth your way towards it, You place the hellbomb on the ground below the hill (which will destroy it if placed correctly) arm it and then leave, if there was a fabricator on the other side of the base you dont have to worry about destroying it as it is NOT Counted as an outpost structure, you will still get 5 stars leaving these fabricators alive.
Comment 2:

You say the samples won’t disappear at the extraction point, but I have seen exactly that. RIP 5 super samples.
If you're low on super credits: PLAY LOW DIFFICULTY MISSIONS!!!!
Level 2 missions have the possibility of spawning radar towers which can show you every location of loot on the map, and have such a small spawn pool for what can spawn in bunkers, shipping containers, and supply pods, that you're able to get up to 50 super credits per run!!
I can't imagine EVER using light armor
I can imagine not using light armor, but for the most part I stick with the lightest.
That armor is so blue. You look like the flag of Finland.
If you thought I wouldn't catch any mass effect 2 song in your background, you were wrong.
Good job with the video!
Lovely accent
Thing is with teammates,it has never worked for me planning around them
Once they get they're weapon or backpack they won't get u one
So I need to forsake team planning and be selfish to get my stuff
My lvl 134 10-star general advice is: Use breaker+railgun bugs, Scorcher+Railgun bots and git gud...On both instances 500kg+orbital laser(laser being the most optional since most of the time you olnly get 3 strats anyways). Playing with other ppl is just to increase the difficulty of helldives so if you want ez games just solo.
4 auto cannons is AWESOME! Double team loading… I’d be ok with this being a temporary meta.
🔥🔥🔥
i hope they add a 10 11 and 12 difficulty
Bought it 4 days ago and I have killed almost 2k automatons but only like 50 terminids💀
I rather battle against the automatons myself . The bugs aren’t as much fun for me
I wonder how pros deal when ur teammate toss ur reinforcement in middle of robots 😂😂😂
Try to use power steering to get away from the big crowd, and go prone as soon as you land.
Unless you're pretty much in melee range of a bot, they won't see you.
But that's with scout armor, might be a little harder with something Else
I get hit once by a stalker my shield is gone and all my life is gone and 50 other bugs coming at us . How is this fun? I
Watch out for stalkers then. Change your computer's graphics so it will show further distance.
6:22 the guy with the Asian name in the chat 😂
Audio level could be louder
Play helldivers with me, Spookes 🥰
“There’s no Fomo!” And this is how I find out they had pre-order armor. Arrowhead you better make that openly available, soon!
I want that blue armor so bad 😢
Robots are easy, in fact the only time I have killed any bugs are in the tutorial.
I also play solo, so like when I encounter a tank I just destroy what I need to and then run, most of the enemies you don’t actually have to fight. You can just run.
hell yea
Walking Barrage > 120mm > 380mm.
380mm is great
@@kamikeserpentail3778it CAN be great if you get lucky. I like running it on solo playthroughs, but it's too inconsistent and requires team communication to use safely.
After 6 month of playing i have ko idea whst to do in this game
Recommending eagles for taking out bile titans is wild, they don't do shit against bile titans
A tip for dealing with shriekers: go prone to shoot at their nests. Shriekers can't swoop down low enough to hit you if you're prone.
W
best advice still dont drop your squad into suicide, first think then call for reinforcement.....PLEASE!!!!!
TLDR: It’s a commando game , play it that way.
What does that mean?
@@kamikeserpentail3778 we are commandos , jump in hit the targets get your stuff and leave. No need for long pitched battles and 40k style mauling your way across the map nonsense, that’s not what this game is.
Localization confusion happens to the helldivers lol
For the love of god dont throw respawn into a bunch of enemys unless yourvtaking out somtjing big with the hellpod
Am sorry, but Fassion first. Always! Dark Souls has tought me well!
I swear you said bungholes and not bug holes
Team? Y'all have teams? I can't even add friends by searching ID Tags
What language is this supposed to be?
Brah this game is easy and is the only game on the planet dat dont need a guide wtf?!?!?
Easy??!! I guess you never faced 5+ bot ship drops or bug holes at the same time.
Wrong wrong n wrong. The laser strat is a must and lasts very long!!! Ive taken down TWO bot bases with one laser cause they were close enough but not close enough where i thought it would be able to clear both but traveled all the way to the second and smacked it!!!!!! You just gotta know how to use it. This dude has no idea wtf hes talking about off rip. Erupter, 500k, laser orbital, quasar(against bots), Stalwart(against bugs) to compliments the slow reload of eruptor, and auto cannon sentry!!! This load out is my meta and i can wipe whole planets dolo with it. Use it and if u still getting smacked its cause your just trash at the game so work on your aim, learn how to be more situational aware, laid down your autocannon far away as its got massive range as a fallback position so if u get overwhelmed u can run towards it and have it hold u down for the crown. 500k learn when to throw it and lead enemies as it takes a couple to land and explode.
