Not gonna lie, this is my third or fourth time coming back to watch this video. This video was so beautifully made and put together. It's completely changed my perspective of the game. Every fight with the Harbingers is going to be a moral struggle now lmao. I really enjoyed your take on things and your personal prediction for where this game could be going. Venti wld happily get battered to get rid of his gnosis and furina literally just alt f4ed and passed her whole archon hood to a dragon. Raiden didnt even notice her gnosis, and nahida traded two gnoses for some mad doctor to delete his clones lmao
Lumine and Eather being two of the four shades makes sense since ether has the feather earring and lumine has the kenriah flower also velti implies he know who we are and that could be true since he knows the 4th shade the god of time since they ruled mondstadt together also its possible for raidens sister to know aswell
Seems like the battle pass story was told from the viewpoint of the Sustainer, and Lumine was sent to retrieve/destroy the (unknown to her) forbidden knowledge of the Old World from Ekonomiya. But instead she learned the truth about the fake Primordial One, and is now on a journey to destroy the Sustainer. Then possibly Aether was sent down to Teyvat by the Sustainer with his memory wiped in order to stop Lumine without causing much alarm to the people of Teyvat. But unluckily for the Sustainer, Aether stumbled upon Paimon/Primordial One, and us too will set out to destroy the Sustainer.
edit: It would also make sense as to why the OG battle pass weapons are black/red and the standard banner weapons are blue

it crossed my mind that maybe the heavenly principles wanted to destroy the twins so bad because, since they have also came from another world, they (or one of them) could be the third descender and the sustainer was afraid of them

I love how we as players can map out the history of Teyvat with the information given to us in game, via events, in-game books, quests, random NPCs, etc and yet there is still so much to uncover??? This fact keeps me going as a player. I want to see the story through no matter long and winding it will take.

If you say Paimon is from another world, your saying she's a really good actor. Cause she's acts like she knows nothing when the timeline changes in Sumeru. Which makes no since as to why she would hide that if she doesn't remember who she is.

I want to know your thoughts regarding the new archon quest, it was revealed that the primordial one and the second who came worked together to make the gnoses. Whether that was true or not there is a possibility that they were acquaintances or friends AND didn't have a war against each other? In the book it said the war was rekindled, but it didn't specify they were against each other
I have a bunch of theories all probably incorrect however I js had a thought. What if one of the humans or civilizations from when Phanes was the beloved ruler of Teyvat made contact with the outside world maybe they sent a call out and then the second who came (whoever that might be) responded to the call and travelled to Teyvat but was met with hostility by Phanes and possibly the 4 shades because they view the second descender as a threat. Eventually, Phanes would defeat the second descender, but would see the calling out to the outside world as a betrayal by his beloved humans and would nuke those responsible with a celestial nail, and then he would proceed to do that to any nation that started to become too advanced. To take it a step further, what if the 3rd descender came to look for the 2nd just to find out they had been killed and tried to take revenge against Phanes just to ultimately be beaten, however this fight injured Phanes greatly, so he made the gnosis and appointed archons to govern the people while he slowly recovered in celestia. While he was recovering, we the traveler and our twin (both the 4th descenders) arrive in Teyvat (possibly even celestia as shown in the opening cutscene?) and Phanes, still recovering, would clearly see this as another threat, so he would send the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles to go handle the situation. However, when the Sustainer confronts us, she notices we are children, so she seals our power and takes mercy on us by throwing us in Teyvat to live our lives. Honestly, this is me js throwing things at the wall I’m not even sure I believe my own theory so I can’t explain why one twin ended up 500 years in the past and recorded in irminsul and the other in the present with no records of them but just some ideas.

Is it confirmed in lore books that The Second Who Came did in fact defeat the Primordial One and thus the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles is an imposter? Or is that just speculation. It's a very interesting theory that makes sense, but from new lore drops in 4.x we know there is some other stuff going on as well. We know some of this is wrong, for example the thing about dragons. Apep is literally the original dendro sovereign and we now know of Neuvillette who is not the original but the successor.
No, it's not confirmed. In fact in the byakuyakoku collection which contains the book of before sun and moon, in which all the theory crafter based on their speculations...it is literally mentioned that the primordial one who WON the war with the 2nd descender. But after that particular war, the primordial one is becoming out of his character. For example, which is mentioned in the video, the primordial one who creates and cherish human the most is becoming callous, she put a nail on dragonspine and chasm, and she didn't even allow people of enkanomiya who worship her faithfully returning to the surface, she even punished them to remain in the sea of darkness. Hence, by that logics TC speculates it's the 2nd descender who won the war then pretending to be the primordial one. Though it's an interesting theory, i couldn't help myself but asking, if the 2nd descender won the war why would he trouble himself so much by pretending to be someone whom he had defeated. I mean, if he won the war, and all human turns against him because they don't acknowledge him as the ruler of celestia to implement his new law, he can just wipe out the human like ant existence and create a new being one who is faithful to him. It is an easy task to begin with for the 2nd descender if he's speculated defeating the primordial one. People could argue, he's in a weakened state after the war, but another question arise, after the 2nd descender, also came the 3rd descender, and we already know who is the victor, because it's known that the 3rd descender is being obliterated to the point his remains becoming a gnosis, a reminder of how powerful the celestia ruler is. That being said, i don't mean to belittle what the TC has done, as a lore enthusiast, whatever the end result will be, it doesn't matter, it's our journey to the end of story that matter. Hence, i am here watching the 40 minutes video without a skip.

Yes neuvilette is the the reincarnation of Hydro Sovereign, he's just in human form. As for whether or not celestia and the heavenly principles are one in the same remains to be seen. For now its best to refer to celestia simply the island in the sky or whoever is "currently" in control as we don't know if it's still the Primordial One or not. Who/ whatever is up there pulling the strings or even if they're no longer actively controlling anything is "Celestia"

Ok. Zhongli says he is older than 6000 years old. Teyvat is 6000 years old. He was not born on Teyvat and someplace other than Teyvat. Is it possible Zhongli is one of the fades or the second who came or even the Primordial one? He could have been the primordial one, fought the second, lost and the second signed a contract with him to become an archon. It feels like he has more contracts with more of the other celestial beings than he is letting the traveler in on.
