    Having gone through the system myself, I completely relate. I am now grown with four children of my own and although I still have struggles from time to time related to the past, I have found myself to be stronger than I ever thought. I love that you guys are still positive and that will get you far in life. I think with perseverance that all of you can go to college. Talk to people at the college and explain your situation and sometimes you will find more help than you thought possible! All of you have come so far and you will do well. Life can't keep us down:)

      +Kristen Hudson You are so right Kristen. Sometimes bad things have to happen to good people to make it better for others. We intend to take all the horrible situations we went through and make it better for a ton of kids in the system through foster care awareness.

      +Theresa Bonventre There are some great foster parents and we have been blessed to have them in our life. Unfortunately the system does not protect them and they have had to endure years of verbal abuse, threats and false allegations against them by our biological father a person that never wanted us from the start.

      We are working on bringing our story to life and it will be out in 2017! After we made the video our father went after every person we honored in this video and even the film maker who is a college student. He harassed all of them at their homes, work and even posted malicious false blogs all over internet calling them drug dealers, extortionists and far worse. From the bottom of hearts we want to thank our coaches, foster parents, mentors and Jade who had the courage to make & keep this video up and to everyone who has stuck by us. Thank you for being there.

    I'm a former foster care and I completed my higher education (including graduate school) recently. California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) has a great program that supports former foster youth in higher education. +The Lucci Quadruplets Your father should be in prison if he does not pay back the state for raising you. Not sure if you can make him pay you for damages he did but it's worth a try to find a good lawyer to see about that.

    • @thelucciquadruplets6577
      @thelucciquadruplets6577  8 лет назад +2

      +Chianti Simon Our father has accused us of extortion all over the internet but any child support funds that are collected by DCSS are transferred to the California Department of Children and Family Services to offset the cost of caring for us for the 7 years we were in foster care. This collection and transfer is required by the Federal Government and is not extortion. It will stay on his record until it is repaid in full and that has nothing to do with us.

    Going through foster care is not a great experience for any child to go through, especially when you're a child, you just don't know any better but some time, some times it is for the better and when you have friends and people to keep you going. I was raised by an aunt and uncle who were very abusive verbally and physcially, but luck for me a friend's dad, who was a cop, knew about my situation, and I was taken out of that abusive situation and was immediately place in a family that was very willing to be my foster family, which was my friend's family, who was the cop. So, my friend basically became my brother and his parents became my parents.
    I hope you girls do finish college, with financial aid through the government I was able to graduate.

    How absolutely shameful that none of the rich hippiecrites in Beverly Hills ever took them in! I awed that these beautiful young ladies have managed to grow up smart, strong, and hopeful. I will now add foster children to my daily prayers. Bless you all, the Lucci girls and every foster kid.

    • @thelucciquadruplets6577
      @thelucciquadruplets6577  8 лет назад +2

      +JuliaB1955 There were several people who tried to help us in Beverly Hills but our father went after them. He would show up at their house and threaten them by falsely accusing them of selling drugs or lewd acts and then he would start calling their work threatening that they better stay away from us. Several reported him to child services before we were removed and put in the system. Many people from the community have found us after our video went up and have offered to help. Most of all we are thankful to our film maker Jade Collins-Parnell who grew up in BH with us until she moved to Malibu when she was 9. She is a triplet and because of her and her video our whole life changed.

    • @JuliaB1955
      @JuliaB1955 8 лет назад +2

      +The Lucci Quadruplets Thank you for clarifying, and thank God for Jade. We are all so frustrated that your father hss been able to get away with his cruelty and shenanigans. I'm not surprised that your brothers have not stepped up. My own twin (brother) is evil incarnate. They will all get their comeuppance, including the foster "parents" who mistreated you/used the money for themselves. Glad to hear your sister is doing better. Please try not to get upset when your family attempts to disparage you. Anyone with the least bit of common sense knows that you young ladies are not and never have been at fault. I admire you for wanting to make it on your own. Success is all the more satisfying when it's achieved in that way. Sending prayers and warm, healing hugs. May Archangel Michael protect you for the rest of your lives.

    On February 25, 2016 we shared our story with the world. Since then our video has been
    shared all over the world and has garnered over 360,000 views. With that
    came a barrage of hateful blogs and even a video posted by our
    biological parents accusing us and the people who have helped us of
    extortion, fraud and despicable acts. Over the last 10 months we have
    received thousands of messages and posts through our RUclips channel and
    Facebook account from our supporters. From the bottom of our heart we
    want to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to write to
    us and uplifting our spirits through this difficult time. We have never
    accepted a penny from anyone or charged any money for our radio
    interviews or appearances. Our purpose in 2016 was to inspire other
    Foster kids to stay in school, graduate and go to college by sharing
    what we have gone through. Little did we know that we would be inspired
    by the out pour of your love and support. Thank you to each and every
    one of you who has believed in us. 2017 here we come!
