That reminds me of a guy I used to know years ago. He bought up a ton of Wii U's right before it launched because he thought it was gonna be as popular as the Wii and that it would be sold out immediately so he could make a ton of money off of it. Nobody bought his systems at the inflated price and then he wanted to take them back to the store he got them at but he lost his receipt. He ended up having to sell them at below the retail price to get rid of them.

Yeah I'm seriously putting in the effort for a PC when the PS6 comes out because the limited dictatorship ecosystem of consoles is depressing me. Plus I hate that the cloud is free on xbox and PC but not PS.
I see no reason to get the next console when the previous console is still getting games at a near equal rate as the current one. Fewer than ten games have actually utilized the potential of PS5. Most games are just treating it like a faster PS4. Considering PS4 is still getting support and Sony’s idea of a huge upgrade is just minor graphical improvements, I see no reason why PS5 won’t get the same treatment for another ten years, at this rate.

Just don’t buy it guys. This is an experiment from Sony. They made it inconvenient by not adding a disk drive at a price point where they should have to truly give players options. They want you pay higher store prices for their digital games whereas , you could get preowned disks at a cheaper price. PS plus is tricky to suggest where they get rid of games more often compared to XBox’s game pass although you could wait for end of year sale to get a subscription deal. So overall save that money and add a bit more to build a pc if you are going to spend for the hardware. If you want to buy a Sony console buy the standard ps5 . If you own a PS5 stick to your existing PS5. It’s true capability is yet to be seen as developers haven’t really made many games for it this generation. If they updated the CPU aswell it would have been worth it, because your getting a better GPU, aswell as 2TB, better Ray tracing and PSSR. disc drives and stands don't effect performance so they are not nearly as important.

One big issue for trailers like this. If you just got rid of the ps5pro enhanced logo and replaced the ps5pro with a ps5. I would not even blink assuming it is just an add for ps5 going into the christmas season. Had thos cost 550usd at most and included the disc drive and stand id be singing a different tune. But given next gen will be hear in three years and ps5 feels like it is only starting to get tapped into this is a very uninteresting console to me.

One big issue for trailers like this. If you just got rid of the ps5pro enhanced logo and replaced the ps5pro with a ps5. I would not even blink assuming it is just an add for ps5 going into the christmas season. Had thos cost 550usd at most and included the disc drive and stand id be singing a different tune. But given next gen will be hear in three years and ps5 feels like it is only starting to get tapped into this is a very uninteresting console to me.

What an insult to consumers. It's $1000 to buy a PS 5 pro in canada with no disk drive. Not that you can buy a disk drive in canada right now anyway. So I have to pay physical game prices $90-$100 for digital games that I'll never own and can be removed from my library when PS deems it so. Thanks playstation...

They explained that in the announcement video already. Larger GPU, Ray Tracing enhancements, and PSSR technology. They showed side by side comparisons. Now, was there much improvement to be seen? Nope because they decided to stream the video which downgrades resolution. Stupid move in my opinion.
Did you even watch the reveal of the PS5 Pro? They explained clearly the purpose of this console. Not sure if you're being serious or just jumping on the hate bandwagon because it's what kids do these days.
