Can you beat this deal?? I recently was walking through my local Home Depot and noticed they had their Dewalt DW734, three blade, 12-1/2 inch planers on clearance for $400! I couldn't resist and purchased one. The planer has a 15 amp motor which spins 10,000 rpms! For $400 bucks, you cant beat it! Ive been wanting a planer because I have started making wood working projects such as cutting boards for gifts. This planer will cut the time needed to manufacture a cutting board drastically! Before this planer I have been only using a block sander and a palm sander to joint and finish the cutting boards and it took WAYYYY to long lol.
In this video I unbox, assembly and use the planer for the first time.

I scored on Amazon last week. It was on sale for $456 and with all the points I had saved with my Amazon credit card, I saved an additional $251. All together, I ended up paying out of pocket $195. I say I did pretty well.

Its definitely a good tool. Try buying it online at the Home Depot Website. I was able to get the DeWalt Compound Sliding Miter Saw for the sale price there when it was sold out at the store. It was also delivered toy house for no extra charge!

I don't know if I can beat that deal but I'm sure loving my DW735!! I just used the crap out of it today for m next video
The DW735 is what I wanted. My buddy put a shelix head on his and loves it. I just couldnt pass up the clearance sticker on the DW734 though.

Just found out they have the dw734 for 399.00 and it comes with a tool box. I was wondering if it was a good deal for a new one, going to order it online now.
Yes it is. I paid $400 for mine on the clearance rack at Home Depot. $400 with a toolbox sounds like a great deal!
