I still use it a lot and like it very much..I haven't had any problems with it. Changing the blades is a learning curve and just takes time to master. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING

Hi. Thanks for providing the review. Are you willing and available to answer a couple of questions?
I just bought a display model, 90 day return. Bleached during lockdown! A little de-rusting is in order..Trying to check it out quickly. I'm comparing features as you describe them.
I see just a few minor styling differences but I don't think they'll matter. So far my main question is there's a slight rattle sound when I raise and lower the blades using the handle on top - is that a problem? Is yours quiet?
And have you been okay with leaving the screws off of the dust shroud in back? (We'd like to store it folded up.)
I also seem to have an additional 8mm/10mm wrench next to the magnetic T-handle, guess we'll find out what that is for when we get it open. Ahh, I see the two bolts to adjust height of the infeed table are 10mm, to start with.
Thanks if you can answer questions. Very helpful video! Off to check out your other videos. (Subscribed -- you do a great job demonstrating the features, all the details the other review I saw glossed over/ And then demonstrated it cutting. Thumbs up. Hope you have more planned on your channel! )

@@diymrscott4983 Thanks so much for the reply and being willing to answer questions. I apologize for not getting back here yet.
After a few days of trying to get the top case screws loose with penetrating oil, I returned the planer for a full refund. I know we could have drilled the screws out but it just wasn't worth my time and once I started doing that, it wouldn't be returnable. The ones up inside looked worse. When I make space for one... but I don't have to own one immediately. I'll be watching to see if they are ever on sale. Thanks!

I was wondering if it wouldn't be better if you took a slice off on the table saw first, then send through the planer? Again, I don't know and I am just trying to learn. Thanks for the video.

You gotta have one perfectly flat surface for the table saw fence to index from to start off. That's where a planer and joiner comes in. A table saw only cuts parallel to whichever edge your indexing. If that edge is rough and wavy, the opposite side will be as well
