I began to slowly feel this way about school. With no friends and home life all over the place, I gained depression moving me away from doing my hobbies and going out. Thus, my only reason and object of dedication was school. I studied, did my homework, obeyed the rules, listened to my teachers, did my best in class, and reached for the best I could. Then slowly I broke. Every day felt repetitive, over and over the same day, never changing, and when I saw I was upset I tried to change myself and to make friends. But even that never worked. They, too, left me. Found more interest in their phones than conversing with me. Always confused me. So I broke down, day after day. First, the homework was being missed and I was being reminded, then I stopped studying, then I began to stop listening to lectures and classes, stopped trying to even bother talking to those around me, and finally began skipping classes. And skipping classes turned into skipping days. Now it is the exams and I see so much how broken I am and writing this I am reminded of the days I felt motivated and how much I miss that feeling. I had so much of it and now it is all gone. I feel broken, like I may never get anywhere, like I will fail. I do not know how to get up from my knees and stand up again. I wonder if I need a break but the days I skipped should have been plenty. I don't know how to run. Some days it has been so hard that I considered dying. Yet where does that get me? I know my home is a mess but I still know my family loves me despite the hurt they cause me (except the one who stays a stranger in my home). And with disappearing, I will never come to experience those feelings I miss as who I am now, I will never feel motivation, happiness, sadness, and this drive to live as me if I decide to disappear. I want to stop now and just stop yet I know I don't want to let go. It's so hard sometimes. But I still wish to become who I once was and to feel motivated once again. And with exams passing maybe with my new classes starting, I can finally try again. I hope I can. Thank you for making this song, I can deeply resonate with the song within my soul and it makes me feel a somewhat bit of happiness with listening to this, but I also feel bitterness for how the song reminds me of all the mistakes I have made. But perhaps it was all destined to happen with how things unravelled and stacked upon each other to make me this way. Anyways, thank you once again for bringing this little bit of happiness to me! ❤
