Why I Selected White Wedding® Hydrangea - All Summer White Flowering Hydrangea. In this video I plant 3 White Wedding® Hydrangeas from the Southern Living Plant Collection. These Hydrangea Paniculatas hold there blooms up big and tall all summer and fall. The white flowers start off as green and slowly get more white throughout the summer. White Wedding® Hydrangeas make great cut flowers.

for the Annabel's I use tomato cages which works well. they get so big they engulf the cage so you can't see it

I have one in the center of a creeping phlox patch [6 feet dia.]. I pruned it to one foot in Feb. The plant is not flopping like my lime lights and vanilla strawberries. I told my wife how I like the compact and small size loaded with pure white blooms.

Just bought five of these over the later summer season. They also have a nice fall color on the blooms with pinks and reds.

So I grew three white wedding hydrangeas and a week later the bottom leaves turned yellow and I brown. Not sure what to do.

Hey can you do an update on this hydrangea plant. I’m in the process of ripping out big box woods and replacing them with hydrangea bushes for more color. I’m in Oklahoma and the only hydrangeas I’m finding in the white color is Annabelle. Though that’s a pretty plant, I want the mop head look of the florist hydrangea with bigger individual flowers. Where did you purchase your plant from?

Thanks for sharing. Very helpful for a beginner like me. Could you please share what's the best distance to keep between them? Also if I were to use baby gem as border, how far should I keep the boxwood from the hydrangeas? Thank you!!

I bought two of the white wedding hydrangeas last summer and planted near our garage to hide our AC unit. I’m guessing these would also be good as a privacy hedge?

Looks beautiful. I can only have hydrangeas in fenced area, but my neighbor planted some before the deer got so bad so his had a chance to get tall. The deer only eat the first 4 feet, so his are quite a bit taller and he will get leaves and blooms. Mine outside the fencing never get the chance to grow large because the deer eat the tops. If i knew the tallest growing varieties, maybe i could temp fence around them to give them a shot and then it could be removed once they are bigger. These sure are lovely. Thank you!

I have a couple Hydrangea paniculata Little Lamb which have true bright white blooms, but they do flop. I also have Little Lime which never gets that true bright white that I love about Little Lamb. Thanks for showing this new variety (White Wedding) I will try this as an alternative. Hoping for the best of both worlds.

jonnken I live in North Ga & our dirt is heavy red clay, just like that.. I have found that planting in it isn't to bad. Holds moisture, so you just learn how to dig & place your plants.. Jim done a great video on planting in it..

Do these come in different colors or can the color be changed by the soil & can they take sun? I was giving some type, I call it a big leaf hydrangea & it absolutely hates the sun.. But want one to put in a certain area, but it is in the northwest part of the yard near a wood line..
