Claudette Ortiz: I Almost Enlisted in Military Before R&B Divas

- www.vladtv.com - Claudette Ortiz opened up to VladTV about the struggles she was facing in life before being offered a part on R&B Divas, and admits that she was considering joining the military at the time.
The City High singer says that she wanted to take advantage of the benefits offered by the military because she wanted to provide a more stable life for herself and her children. Claudette explains that she fell on difficult financial times and is very thankful for the opportunities that opened up to her after joining R&B Divas.

Love sister's story..she is very authentic and transparent about her life. Down to earth and affable...she has immense wisdom...no ego..she knew where her life was and what she needed to do in order to survive and was ready to do so. She is beautifully human...I hope she stays blessed in all she does.
Goes to show that beauty can only go so far, then life sets in and you have to live it. No matter what. She's a gorgeous woman and it seems like she just made some bad choices. But who hasn't. She's smart, intelligent, grounded and full of talent. She deserves nothing but the best. Praying for you chick.
Picking broke ass men to father her kids was her problem. She had so much talent and she's a tough woman.

Music just isn't working out anymore. I hate to say, but it's not working out for a lot of these old school artists. What good is it if nobody promotes it or responds to it? Also, what can she do differently in Beyonce/Rihanna world? Sure, she's pretty and can sing, but these labels aren't interested. Obviously the independent thing isn't working either. She released a "song" last year and it was completely mediocre and ultimately overlooked. Reality tv is her best bet. Even on reality tv she was boring so I don't know. Good luck though. I love her honesty.
They must make a new original sound that's from them and they need to self produce and write their own music like Stevie wonder does

The Proverbial Hater Exactly, but in getting an associate degree in May not a B.A. the recruiter said that I can't be a officer without a bachelors degree. Either way, im getting out of Alabama and im done being broke, period! Do 20 years get my bachelors degree while im in and after retirement move to Atlanta and work my field I study.
