    I enjoy your vids a lot and they are very informative in many ways. Im currently converting my 1990's 7x14 barn door double axle I acquired last fall in Indiana. I'm located in shelbyville Illinois which is south central about 1.5hrs north east of st Louis. It's a tourist town and destination for many people around the world due to our many campgrounds, large lake plus hunting and fishing. Looking forward to more vids!

    Bill ol buddy I see you got yourself a shirt that is long enough to cover shed completely... someone was giving me a hard time about being in my 40s and having a belly.. my reply was.. Bigger the tool the bigger the shed cause you don't want your tool rusting... hopefully it made you chuckle... its looking good and you 2 are making some serious progress.

    Looks great so far. I always enjoy and look forward to your videos!
    With Bill's attention to planning, detail, and craftsmanship, and Deb's astounding artistic abilities in interior design, planning, and unrivaled supervisory skills, you two could go into business custom designing and building cargo trailer conversions!
    However, that would severely impede on the whole "retired" lifestyle, and you'd have to change your closeout to "We're not camping, we're working"! 😉
    Great job as always, and wishing you all the best moving forward!!! 👍

    We love how you guys are always having fun. That is something some may not understand. Building one of these is rewarding, especially if you can do it with the one (or more) who will be traveling with you. I like to remind folks that this is not an RV. This is a mobile tiny house. Decisions for your build are based on that fact.

    Did you use furring strips on your ceiling? Do they run with the ceiling tubes or do you jave them running the length of the trailer? If you run them on the cross beam, do you worry about warping the slight arch of the ceiling?

    "That's pretty cool!" I'd bet that if you ever saw the studs on a regular RV trailer they would have measurement differences as well. The builders all go as fast as possible. (In that still shot as you bowed your head you looked a little like David Gilmour.)

    • @gerrycollins9409
      @gerrycollins9409 3 года назад +1

      I think he said he had 1/2” foam in those spaces with the backer board which I assume is also 1/2”. Thus all 1 inch in the walls which is the same thickness as the metal studs.
