Hi, and thank you for your comment. No, I don't get hard line edge. That's why I do flick the tape to allow me get it tight. Try it yourself, make sure that the tape don't touch the panel. I always was doing it that way for some reason. Once again thank you for your comment
@grantssmartrepairs Use 2" tape and fold it in half pretty much. Make sure that tape don't touch the panel , leave some space for paint to go under the tape. When you finish remove tape and spray with a bit Fade out. Prep the area with 1000 wet. I use abralon 1000 on soft pad with soapy water or panel wipe. It will give good grip for the lacquer. Obviously don't go too heavy to close. 👍
