@@PoogieBoogie late to this reply but I'm about 60 hours into Stories 2 and loving it, even though a month ago i would have told you I had no interest in it. I like Rise a lot, but the last 150 hours I put into the endgame were purely for fun and to try new weapons with the wirebug skills, I love the fluidity of combat in this game. Ungortunately, there's not much reason to keep grinding except for chasing God talismans, which is a little soul-crushing

Gotta assume you have two 3 slot decos on your talisman otherwise rapid lvl 3 isn't possible. That or the armour you used for it has been altered or changed in an update at some point.
@@PoogieBoogie Ahh honestly that makes way more sense, I completely forgot that with the armour you max constitution and stamina surge so there's no need to have that on the talisman. I've not long had MHR, got it about 2 weeks ago and already put 150 hours in so still learning. Originally was playing hammer but learnt Bow to help my partner play. Your guide has been pretty helpful for cleaning up end Rise content before we go into Sunbreak. Looks like I've got some extra grinding to do, haven't got a single talisman with Normal/Rapid. I think it'd be fun if capcom used event crossovers to create unique armor and weapon sets that we can just have fun with like they did using other anime and vgs. Im sure g rank is coming though but after that I really enjoyed having crossover missions that were sort of reskinned or l strange behavior mobs that gave unique armor and weapons.
@@PoogieBoogie they have a plethora of content that would enjoy the publicity outside of capcom titles too. I remember generations had an "alligator" plesioth for a captain hook pirate armor that was all about giving more drops and increasing rare drop rates. (Just one example) . Another was from animes like Jojo and Magi etc. The armor sets weren't OP but they weren't totally crippling either. MH only amateurish would fit nicely with the rise theme though
Nobody answered that I could see within the last 7 months, so here ya go!! Rampage won 14 and lost 7! It is best in slot for everything EXCEPT Fire pierce, water spread, ice pierce, dragon rapid AND spread, raw pierce AND spread.
I’m happy that the video can be helpful :) Rampage ended up being the best in a lot of categories, but there are a few stand out bows that surpass this versatile weapon. Hopefully we’ll see more monster hunter info at E3 :)
tigrex whisker doesn't get power coating but it gets two additional cc ammo types over the rampage bow. Additionally, 2-3 levels of ballistics makes close range coating very comfortable to use at all times on rapid. The tradeoff is that you really cant see shit while shooting the tigrex whisker, but in terms of group hunts I prefer it to the rampage bow simply for utility. That being said, you can fit healing arc shot on a rampage bow for group hunts which is also good utility
I like that build! Thanks for putting in the work on this through comment as well! I like the specialized build, it sounds like a lot of fun. Definitely with the ballista consideration allowing players to get some distance on their spread shots! Are there any improvements you would like to see for the Bow in general for the #MHRise #SunBreak release this summer?

The new swift and charge bows have a random assortment of shot types for the shot lists. I personally wouldn't recommend them because of their in consistent shot lists. Upside, apparently, players don't need to use the Mighty Bow Feather for Bow Charge Plus with those shots (I Think?) so they have that going for them :)
I am happy you found the video helpful! The Rampage altering can occur once players can both construct rampage bows & use Ramp-Up abilities for weapons at the Smithy. This should be an option right under making armor I believe. [Keep in mind I'll be referring to the last High Rank Rampage Bow] The Ramp-up Skills/Abilities player will want is: 1. Desired Element: Ice, Water, Fire, etc. 2. Desired Shot Type: Rapid, Spread, Pierce (I wouldn't recommend the other shot types as they are less consistent) 3. Desired Coatings 1: Exhaust (This adds +10 to Attack when added) 4. Desired Coatings 2: Most likely Power is the most beneficial choice Let me know if this helps.

Great suggestion! I love that weapon :) Heaven's Glaze is a pretty sweet weapon. It was taking down Diablos basically as fast as the Kushala Bow. I would need to do some field test research to see if I can beat my current Rapid build. Great question! I tested out the Teo bow and the Magnamalo bow displayed more consistent damage overall. Although, the Teo bow proc’d more blasts more often - these blasts fade as the hunt continues so the raw damage of the weapon is going to end up being what takes down the monster. In this case, the Magnamalo bow beats out the Teo bow in my field tests.

Awesome video. Tons and tons of effort put in. For that, we all thank you. One question, why did you use the kaiser crown(3 crit eye) with the tigrex bow with brutal strike? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to leave the negative affinity low to benefit more from brutal strike, thus more damage?

Brutal Strike "When applied to a Weapon, Brutal Strike has a 25% chance (early estimate) to double the damage of a negative critical hit, therefore applying a 1.5x multiplier to the attack instead of a 0.75x multiplier." And, that's the catch. There is a 'chance' for the damage to be doubled. This is Brutal Strikes flaw in its effectiveness when is comes to delivering consistent dps to result in faster hunt times. My idea for the video was to negate some of the negative crit and add crit boost to help solve for the lower damage numbers the bow tends to deal out. Trying to go for neutral affinity for more consistent damage. I tried using a Rathalos Helm for Attack plus 1 (as apposed to the crit boost from Kaiser Crown) Level-4 shot damage result against Tetranadon are: 34-46 with an outlier of 51 - (possibly the Brutal Strike Crit) [the video has 35-50 consistently] The reason I think why 46 showed up more than the 51 damage number is because of the negative affinity. Negative affinity lowers damage number as apposed to increasing them. From my experiences, dealing with negative affinity with Brutal Strike (as appose to positive or neutral affinity) is that the overall damage-over-time is lower. For example, Brutal Strike Rath Helm Tigrex Bow max damage is 51 as opposed to Brutal Strike Kaiser Crown Tigrex Bow being 50, yet the run times are vastly different. The run time for Rathalos Helm: 3:38 The run time for Kaiser Crown: 3:10 It may produce slightly lower damage numbers, but the consistency of the damage allowed the build in the video to have a faster run time. Please let me know if this helps. :)

Hey, I was playing with firing:swift because there’s little info on it anywhere. I think I’ve figured out why it exists. If we use charging sidestep we can skip the lvl 1 and 3 charges, essentially only using the rapid shots. With the rapid 4 on the second charge it actually it damages firing:Rapid if both bows use the side step to skip charge levels 1 and 3. Idk if it’s worth the hassle but that’s the best I could come up with.
I hear what you're saying on the 'Firing: Swift' ability and I think it may hold some weight. I would need to test it out, but I can see where you're thought process is. If a player leads in shots with a Sidestep and continues the side step then the shots should be: Rapid 4 - Rapid 5 as opposed to Rapid 3 - Rapid 5 It has the potential to lead to faster run times. I would have to test it. :) Thx for this!

Man I appreciate you putting all this time and work for everyone. As for someone who was an LS main throughout all the MH series ( been playing since PSP). You're one of the people who made me switch to using bow. And I've never regretted being a Bow main now

Great question! The bow mechanics (since MHWorld/Iceborne) have changed. The old world bow strats are implimented through shot types and optimal distance otherwise, dash dancing/sidestepping to charge or surpass shot type levels is what's been found to be the most efficient for damage output (at least that what I have experienced. woulldnt attack boost or afinity boost be a better ramp up for the anja and tigrex bows? brutal strike is useless if you have positive afinity (it can only proc on negative afinity hits) so it wouldnt really do anything on the set you said you tested with. they were close, so i wouldnt be surprised if they beat out rampage with the proper ramp ups

As shown above the TIgrex Bow (with fenagling of Rampage Skills - Affinity Boost being the most efficient) comes close to being the most efficient raw damage rapid bow, but the Rampage Bow (even without temporary stamina buffs) continues to beat the Tigrex Bow for overall damage leading to the most efficient run times (which so happens to be the same information that the video above provides). That's a great question! The difference between using Absolute Power Shots and Power Shots is definitely intent or overall goal. If knocking the monster out by striking the head constantly is you're goal - APS is the way to go. If a player wants to be able to land more hits and to more easily link combos - PS is the way to go. Bow is by far my favorite weapon in rise, I’ve managed to make pretty much everything for now even every element for every shot type (except spread not a fan of it) but still a lot of bows, love the weapon even as through the last few months I’ve taken a distance from it to learn every other weapon but nothing else has hit as good as bow for me

how does the hail of mud even work btw, does it just outright cap at level 2 charge(3 with bow charge plus)? the only bow with nothing in the level 4 so im quite curious, seeing as the multipliers of level 4 are a bit better than 3
Hey, thanks for the video ! I tested a raw build with optimized rampage bow and was very surprised that it almost matches elemental bows in terms of damage, and can use 3 more slots that usually are used for elemental up. Also, what layered armor are you using ?
@@PoogieBoogie actually it’s the set you’re using (3 armors with 3 slots), i replaced the elemental up with reload speed 2 and unflinching 3. For the rampage skills i picked attack boost 4, no element boost, shot type+, power coating+, exhaust coating and affinity arc shot. The bow has 240 attack which is very good imo

Good work as always. In some cases where the damage is close and the non-rampage has a slot I would say sacrifice a little damage to get the use of the slot(s) the other bow may have. That's how I was able to fit flinch free into my builds. Also why no Teostra bow?
It's true that you can add other skills if the other bow have other slots. You are correct, damage would be sacrificed for those additional decorations :) About the Teo Bow - Great question! Great question! I believe it still does. I think it will allow a player to knock out a monster faster than usual (1st and 2nd time quicker). I don’t know how long it will take for a third knockout(rare) Let me know is this helps :)

But, off the cuff, without reference to any build: -Crit Boost x1 will give you the biggest jump in damage (+30% crit damage) -You then may be able to get lvl 5 element damage with 2 slots available A player could also split the difference and use: -1x Crit Boost -1x Element Damage -1X Element Crit Boost The best decorations to use also depends on what your Affinity is with this build. What are your skills or armor pieces you're using?

I'm happy you're enjoying the videos :) I've seen some Bow Valstrax speed runs and what i've seen them use is -an element like Ice/water -rapid shot rampage -valstrax chest with lvl3 bubble dance (WEx, Const, Stam Surg... etc) -dodgebolt switch skill *and they only aimed at the wing ARMS My first few runs used -dragon pierce -nargacuga armor for evade distance & exteder -aimed at Wings when mad for Lots of damage Let me know if this helps.
Shame you didn't compare Rampage to the Zinogre Bow Despot's Earlybolt, that's generally my preferred pierce thunder bow(primarily due to the ability to use Power coatings), and would've loved to see some hard numbers in comparison

I compared every bow and only showed off the top 2 contenders in all 21 categories. When comparing a 3-hit combo damage consisting of 3 level 4 shots, here is the data I gathered: Zin Bow - 443 Narwa Bow - 492 Rajang Bow - 458 Zinogre and Rajang Bow don't compare to the Narwa Bow when it comes to dealing damage/DPS. If you want, you can use a Rampage bow for Thunder pierce that can use Power coating and have it look like a Zinogre Bow and see if that might shave off time of your run times. I hope this information helps :)
damage test on the training dummy's belly for ice rapid wasnt too informative cuz the belly's element hzv is 20, element exploit only procs starting 25. it doesnt change the result of rampage>heaven's glaze, just wanna make sure people know the ramp-up skill is pretty much exclusively useful to monsters at 25 or more weakness to an element

Its safe to say that all the rampage bows become obsolete once u get sunbreak So the that insane grind its not really worth It. Quite impresive to have all the 21 bows Max out tho... My mind was kaboomed
the anja and tigrex bows with the 240-250 raw and -25% Affinity with a Rampage BRUTAL strike + 2 rapid Normal Up will peePee on them all other Bows, Not bad builds on element in the video,, but them Raw - Affinity + brutal strike are moping everything in base rise
I would need to to some testing but off the cuff: 1x crit boost is a huge jump in damage of 30% Crit damage boost (the additional levels add 5% more, but having 1x is worth it imo) 3x attack boost to take advantage of the attack increase But, field testing would need to be done to compare outcomes.
@@PoogieBoogie did it change from world? Without crit boost, crits land 1.25 damage, meaning that first level (even though it says 30%) really means an additional 5% increase for 1.3 damage on crit (up to 1.4 damage with CB3)
Frankly it's a shame the Rampage bow is better in most situations than what are supposed to be specialized bows. I understand technically the Rampage bow is the one you can ''specialize'', but the fact that you can customize it it, should mean it will not beat a specific bow. What this means is most bow players just run around with Rampage bows and all the other bows are just ''meh'' in most cases. I don't understand why Capcom chose to push all the bow players toward 1 bow...
tbf it was the same in world pretty much, you either used kjar bows with safi armor or safi bows with silver rath armor the other bows from various monsters were basically useless once you got your raid bows

I would love new monsters. New monsters = potentially new meta. Lunatra would be an easy drop. Blast bows only need 3 level-1 slots for bombardier. And I think that’s all the embellishments that can be applied to any blast weapon. Unless you can eat for more blast damage. What are you currently using?

@@Seraphis1911 Ah, I meant Blast attack. Bombardier does this: Increases the damage of explosive items. Level Effect by Level 1 Explosive power +10% 2 Explosive power +20% 3 Explosive power +30% That would mean that the blast effect will do more damage, but that is basically for the beginning few minutes of the hunt. A majority of the damage will be through the raw damage of the bow. I would have to do some experimentation, but blast damage and Bombardier if you can (if it affects weapon blasts) seems pretty good. I think Blast damage being fixed hinders the elements viability. But I hear it really good for Rampage mode. To me Blast is fun! :)

I like Rise a lot, but the last 150 hours I put into the endgame were purely for fun and to try new weapons with the wirebug skills, I love the fluidity of combat in this game. Ungortunately, there's not much reason to keep grinding except for chasing God talismans, which is a little soul-crushing

Gotta assume you have two 3 slot decos on your talisman otherwise rapid lvl 3 isn't possible. That or the armour you used for it has been altered or changed in an update at some point.

The Talisman I had at the time (for my own hunts and not informative videos) was a Lvl 2 Rapid with a 2 or 3 slot deco
@@PoogieBoogie Ahh honestly that makes way more sense, I completely forgot that with the armour you max constitution and stamina surge so there's no need to have that on the talisman. I've not long had MHR, got it about 2 weeks ago and already put 150 hours in so still learning. Originally was playing hammer but learnt Bow to help my partner play. Your guide has been pretty helpful for cleaning up end Rise content before we go into Sunbreak. Looks like I've got some extra grinding to do, haven't got a single talisman with Normal/Rapid.

Hmm I don't want to compare rise to world. So like ultimate. I think it'd be fun if capcom used event crossovers to create unique armor and weapon sets that we can just have fun with like they did using other anime and vgs.
Im sure g rank is coming though but after that I really enjoyed having crossover missions that were sort of reskinned or l strange behavior mobs that gave unique armor and weapons.

@@PoogieBoogie they have a plethora of content that would enjoy the publicity outside of capcom titles too. I remember generations had an "alligator" plesioth for a captain hook pirate armor that was all about giving more drops and increasing rare drop rates. (Just one example) . Another was from animes like Jojo and Magi etc. The armor sets weren't OP but they weren't totally crippling either.
MH only amateurish would fit nicely with the rise theme though

tigrex whisker doesn't get power coating but it gets two additional cc ammo types over the rampage bow. Additionally, 2-3 levels of ballistics makes close range coating very comfortable to use at all times on rapid. The tradeoff is that you really cant see shit while shooting the tigrex whisker, but in terms of group hunts I prefer it to the rampage bow simply for utility. That being said, you can fit healing arc shot on a rampage bow for group hunts which is also good utility

What do the new swift and charge bows do?
they give mixed charges, like swift for example gives pierce, spread n rapid
The new swift and charge bows have a random assortment of shot types for the shot lists. I personally wouldn't recommend them because of their in consistent shot lists.
Upside, apparently, players don't need to use the Mighty Bow Feather for Bow Charge Plus with those shots (I Think?) so they have that going for them :)

The Rampage altering can occur once players can both construct rampage bows & use Ramp-Up abilities for weapons at the Smithy. This should be an option right under making armor I believe. [Keep in mind I'll be referring to the last High Rank Rampage Bow] The Ramp-up Skills/Abilities player will want is:
1. Desired Element: Ice, Water, Fire, etc.
2. Desired Shot Type: Rapid, Spread, Pierce (I wouldn't recommend the other shot types as they are less consistent)
3. Desired Coatings 1: Exhaust (This adds +10 to Attack when added)
4. Desired Coatings 2: Most likely Power is the most beneficial choice

I tested out the Teo bow and the Magnamalo bow displayed more consistent damage overall.
Although, the Teo bow proc’d more blasts more often - these blasts fade as the hunt continues so the raw damage of the weapon is going to end up being what takes down the monster. In this case, the Magnamalo bow beats out the Teo bow in my field tests.

One question, why did you use the kaiser crown(3 crit eye) with the tigrex bow with brutal strike? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to leave the negative affinity low to benefit more from brutal strike, thus more damage?

"When applied to a Weapon, Brutal Strike has a 25% chance (early estimate) to double the damage of a negative critical hit, therefore applying a 1.5x multiplier to the attack instead of a 0.75x multiplier."
And, that's the catch. There is a 'chance' for the damage to be doubled. This is Brutal Strikes flaw in its effectiveness when is comes to delivering consistent dps to result in faster hunt times. My idea for the video was to negate some of the negative crit and add crit boost to help solve for the lower damage numbers the bow tends to deal out. Trying to go for neutral affinity for more consistent damage.
I tried using a Rathalos Helm for Attack plus 1 (as apposed to the crit boost from Kaiser Crown)
Level-4 shot damage result against Tetranadon are:
34-46 with an outlier of 51 - (possibly the Brutal Strike Crit)
[the video has 35-50 consistently]
The reason I think why 46 showed up more than the 51 damage number is because of the negative affinity. Negative affinity lowers damage number as apposed to increasing them. From my experiences, dealing with negative affinity with Brutal Strike (as appose to positive or neutral affinity) is that the overall damage-over-time is lower. For example, Brutal Strike Rath Helm Tigrex Bow max damage is 51 as opposed to Brutal Strike Kaiser Crown Tigrex Bow being 50, yet the run times are vastly different.

Hey, I was playing with firing:swift because there’s little info on it anywhere. I think I’ve figured out why it exists.
If we use charging sidestep we can skip the lvl 1 and 3 charges, essentially only using the rapid shots. With the rapid 4 on the second charge it actually it damages firing:Rapid if both bows use the side step to skip charge levels 1 and 3. Idk if it’s worth the hassle but that’s the best I could come up with.
I hear what you're saying on the 'Firing: Swift' ability and I think it may hold some weight. I would need to test it out, but I can see where you're thought process is. If a player leads in shots with a Sidestep and continues the side step then the shots should be:
Rapid 4 - Rapid 5
as opposed to
Rapid 3 - Rapid 5
It has the potential to lead to faster run times. I would have to test it. :) Thx for this!

The decorations I use are different for the rapid build and the pierce/spread build.
Pierce/Spread I believe I have a 3-2-1 slotted talisman
Rapid talisman has a Normal Up lvl 2 with 2-1 slots

The bow mechanics (since MHWorld/Iceborne) have changed. The old world bow strats are implimented through shot types and optimal distance otherwise, dash dancing/sidestepping to charge or surpass shot type levels is what's been found to be the most efficient for damage output (at least that what I have experienced. As shown above the TIgrex Bow (with fenagling of Rampage Skills - Affinity Boost being the most efficient) comes close to being the most efficient raw damage rapid bow, but the Rampage Bow (even without temporary stamina buffs) continues to beat the Tigrex Bow for overall damage leading to the most efficient run times (which so happens to be the same information that the video above provides).

That's a great question!
The difference between using Absolute Power Shots and Power Shots is definitely intent or overall goal.
If knocking the monster out by striking the head constantly is you're goal - APS is the way to go.
If a player wants to be able to land more hits and to more easily link combos - PS is the way to go.

Bow is by far my favorite weapon in rise, I’ve managed to make pretty much everything for now even every element for every shot type (except spread not a fan of it) but still a lot of bows, love the weapon even as through the last few months I’ve taken a distance from it to learn every other weapon but nothing else has hit as good as bow for me

@@PoogieBoogie actually it’s the set you’re using (3 armors with 3 slots), i replaced the elemental up with reload speed 2 and unflinching 3.
For the rampage skills i picked attack boost 4, no element boost, shot type+, power coating+, exhaust coating and affinity arc shot. The bow has 240 attack which is very good imo

It’s an error on my part. I had a bow with a slot on it which gave me full element up. The build actually has lvl4 element damage up.

Good work as always. In some cases where the damage is close and the non-rampage has a slot I would say sacrifice a little damage to get the use of the slot(s) the other bow may have. That's how I was able to fit flinch free into my builds. Also why no Teostra bow?
It's true that you can add other skills if the other bow have other slots. You are correct, damage would be sacrificed for those additional decorations :)
About the Teo Bow - Great question!
I tested out the Teo bow and the Magnamalo bow displayed more consistent damage overall.
Although, the Teo bow proc’d more blasts more often - these blasts fade as the hunt continues so the raw damage of the weapon is going to end up being what takes down the monster. In this case, the Magnamalo bow beats out the Teo bow in my field tests.
Does slugger skill work with bow? Found a 3-2-1 slot w slugger 2 on it.

I believe it still does. I think it will allow a player to knock out a monster faster than usual (1st and 2nd time quicker). I don’t know how long it will take for a third knockout(rare)

I would need to know more about what is contained in the build you're referencing to make a more informed opinion.
But, off the cuff, without reference to any build:
-Crit Boost x1 will give you the biggest jump in damage (+30% crit damage)
-You then may be able to get lvl 5 element damage with 2 slots available
A player could also split the difference and use:
-1x Crit Boost
-1x Element Damage
-1X Element Crit Boost
The best decorations to use also depends on what your Affinity is with this build. What are your skills or armor pieces you're using?

I've seen some Bow Valstrax speed runs and what i've seen them use is
-an element like Ice/water
-rapid shot rampage
-valstrax chest with lvl3 bubble dance (WEx, Const, Stam Surg... etc)
-dodgebolt switch skill
*and they only aimed at the wing ARMS
My first few runs used
-dragon pierce
-nargacuga armor for evade distance & exteder
-aimed at Wings when mad for Lots of damage

Shame you didn't compare Rampage to the Zinogre Bow Despot's Earlybolt, that's generally my preferred pierce thunder bow(primarily due to the ability to use Power coatings), and would've loved to see some hard numbers in comparison

I compared every bow and only showed off the top 2 contenders in all 21 categories.
When comparing a 3-hit combo damage consisting of 3 level 4 shots, here is the data I gathered:
Zin Bow - 443
Narwa Bow - 492
Rajang Bow - 458
Zinogre and Rajang Bow don't compare to the Narwa Bow when it comes to dealing damage/DPS.
If you want, you can use a Rampage bow for Thunder pierce that can use Power coating and have it look like a Zinogre Bow and see if that might shave off time of your run times. I hope this information helps :)

damage test on the training dummy's belly for ice rapid wasnt too informative cuz the belly's element hzv is 20, element exploit only procs starting 25.
it doesnt change the result of rampage>heaven's glaze, just wanna make sure people know the ramp-up skill is pretty much exclusively useful to monsters at 25 or more weakness to an element

Its safe to say that all the rampage bows become obsolete once u get sunbreak
So the that insane grind its not really worth It. Quite impresive to have all the 21 bows Max out tho... My mind was kaboomed
Heartbroken when I discovered SunBreak stopped the Rampage Weapon progression
the anja and tigrex bows with the 240-250 raw and -25% Affinity with a Rampage BRUTAL strike + 2 rapid Normal Up will peePee on them all other Bows, Not bad builds on element in the video,, but them Raw - Affinity + brutal strike are moping everything in base rise

They have completely owned the "Best" thunder bows. Even beating out the Narwa bow, how's that even possible?
sir, if u had to choose between critbost3 vs attckboost4 which one would u choose?
I would need to to some testing but off the cuff:
1x crit boost is a huge jump in damage of 30% Crit damage boost
(the additional levels add 5% more, but having 1x is worth it imo)
3x attack boost to take advantage of the attack increase
But, field testing would need to be done to compare outcomes.
@@PoogieBoogie did it change from world? Without crit boost, crits land 1.25 damage, meaning that first level (even though it says 30%) really means an additional 5% increase for 1.3 damage on crit (up to 1.4 damage with CB3)

Frankly it's a shame the Rampage bow is better in most situations than what are supposed to be specialized bows. I understand technically the Rampage bow is the one you can ''specialize'', but the fact that you can customize it it, should mean it will not beat a specific bow. What this means is most bow players just run around with Rampage bows and all the other bows are just ''meh'' in most cases.
I don't understand why Capcom chose to push all the bow players toward 1 bow...
tbf it was the same in world pretty much, you either used kjar bows with safi armor or safi bows with silver rath armor the other bows from various monsters were basically useless once you got your raid bows
It could be that they're trying to push the Rampage mode but I am not too sure.

Blast bows only need 3 level-1 slots for bombardier. And I think that’s all the embellishments that can be applied to any blast weapon. Unless you can eat for more blast damage. What are you currently using?

Bombardier does this:
Increases the damage of explosive items.
Level Effect by Level
1 Explosive power +10%
2 Explosive power +20%
3 Explosive power +30%
That would mean that the blast effect will do more damage, but that is basically for the beginning few minutes of the hunt. A majority of the damage will be through the raw damage of the bow. I would have to do some experimentation, but blast damage and Bombardier if you can (if it affects weapon blasts) seems pretty good. I think Blast damage being fixed hinders the elements viability. But I hear it really good for Rampage mode. To me Blast is fun! :)
