This hike is best with two overnights at Taylor Meadows. This gives you time to explore. Two night at Garibaldi Lake may also work, but there is that extra hike and time involved. There are many attractions. In this video, we climb the Tusk and Panorama Ridge which is a full day. Garibaldi Lake at the beginning was a separate hike.
