This will help a lot! Thank you! Ive been searching every MST here in BC ..and all of its really helpful
Are you kidding me...this is my backyard, too cool
@jbraz8 Lol
thank you so much iam doing mine tommorow in courtney as well!! Edit :thanks I passed! Out of 12 people I think only 1 unfortunate soul failed.
@wolf-ic8uh Awesome!! Good luck!!
@wolf-ic8uh Awesome!! Congratulations!!
Nice work, this is every friday at what time at Bilmore? Do you just show up or need to register, gonna try get to mine on friday.
@tfowlnew You need to register at icbc
Hardest part is finding somebody to accompany you as you need somebody with a full license to accompany you there, or to ride in general..
@jbraz8 I rode all over comox by myself with no problems. One guy showed up without a licensed friend and passed. She didn't even talk to my buddy 👍
@westcoastdualsportadvent-cj5qn that's good to know, but I'm thinking it probably depends on the tester..
@@jbraz8 Yeah that's probable.. But you can definitely ride without a supervisor. Just keep to back roads
Very helpful video, I feel more confident! Will ICBC provide a motorcycle? Or do you have to bring your own?
@asianareraisins7582 You need your own bike. And you should know how to ride it before you take the test.
@@westcoastdualsportadvent-cj5qn Sounds good, thanks!
this looks hard on a big heavy bike. what cc was your bike like 125?
@joesimpson4655 200
Did they check your turn signals before the test? Gonna take mine next week at that park
@jeffersonbreedveld2457 I can't remember. I'm going to say yes, but I don't think she did. They definitely checked them before my road test👍
The instructions are not clear with so many cones, they should use a laser pointer to show the paths, I think it would work
@limamantapachitas Not going first helped alot. She wasn't taking points off when anyone hit or missed the cones. She just wanted to see that you have basic bike control. 👍👍
putting one foot on the ground is a failure@@westcoastdualsportadvent-cj5qn
If you don't have a clue of where you are to ride in the MST and show up that day with no training....your odds are very low that you will pass. They do explain each segment to you just before you do it, but you need to not be worrying about where you are supposed to go...and concentrate on how to do it. Take some professional training and raise your odds. My students are all "passing the MST" in practice many times with me before heading to ICBC. Like any new thing you do, knowing what to do and how to do it before you are tested, tilts the odds hugely in your favour.
@@Bisonmsc for the slalom what is the distance between cones roughly?
@@limamantapachitas Te
The slalom and turning radius is adjusted for every individual bike. The slalom distance can be anywhere from 3 to 4.75 metres. It depends on the turning radius of the particular bike. To measure the distance, place the rear wheel in the middle of the 4 cones that mark the stop box at the end of the slow ride. Do an upright full lock turn and walk the bike in a half circle to the left. The front wheel will meet a number of coloured pant stripes on the course. The colour of the stripe closest to the front wheel indicates the slalom cone distance. Red stripe=red cone dots etc. . The first cone of the slalom is fixed. Then you take every red dot and place the rest of the cones on those coloured dots. The turning radius is where your wheel ended up, PLUS 1.5 metres.
Where is the mst location test that you did? Thanks
@donrobertjradventures Courtenay on Vancouver Island. You need to register at icbc.com
@@westcoastdualsportadvent-cj5qn thanks appreciate your response, I think i need a supervisor before I take the mst right? Which happen I don’t have a friend who can accompany me to icbc hehe
@donrobertjradventures One guy didn't have a supervisor and she didn't even talk to mine.. I'd say you're good👍👍
I’m confused on where you book it, do you know the exact institution who hosted it?
@lwmbuilds4736 On the icbc website👍
@lwmbuilds4736 You need to pass learners test first. You can just drop in to the icbc office for that
Where this located?
@Nikko&Abhie Vlogs Thanks, I'm glad you found it helpful.. I took the test in Courtenay 👍👍
What happen if you do skid your tire for sudden stop?
@@nikkoabhievlogs8412 My buddy who filmed it said he failed when he skidded. So I did test thinking that if I skidded, I'd fail👍
@@westcoastdualsportadvent-cj5qn If your rear wheel skid is less than 1 metre, you get marked for a braking error. If it is over 1 metre, it's a dangerous action. If you do any skid with the front wheel it's a dangerous action. D,.A.s are an immediate fail..
