@YBWhooby Glad you enjoyed it. Happy New Year!
Go little tw200! 🎉 I sold my RE Himalayan for a 2025 tdub and I don’t think I could be happier. Best decision I’ve ever made when it came to a vehicle
@BarkaTheGreat Such a fun little bike
I use moonshine

I had Bridgestone battalax 01 on a FZ6 Fazer about 20 years ago. Original fitment from the factory I think. They were shite. Never had an issue with Metzeler.

Funniest shit I seen in a while
@MisogynistNomad Lol, thanks!
Death Wing 😝
@MisogynistNomad Yeah, you probably wouldn't want to ride too aggressive with it. But for what I'm doing, I'll wear it out before I replace it
Clarke makes a huge tank. Just order a spare cap
They are not exactly rockets, but they are really fun and reliable and cheap to buy and last forever! I have a 2024 and love it. Way to much fun. 👍👍
I agree 100%. I fell victim to the "Death Wing" hystericals and went out and bought a Shinko 241. BIG mistake! The Trail Wing is actually a surprisingly good handling tire on pavement. I rode the twistiest road in America, The Devils Highway with the Trail Wings and was very impressed. But the 241 is terrible. The 241 is not neutral, the knobs are way too soft and let the tire squirm around. It doesn't want to lean. It does not want to stay leaned over in a corner. But worse yet, mine was molded out of round! There was no way to balance it or get a smooth ride. The front end bounced up and down like a jackhammer.. My dealer finally agreed it was a defective tire and gave me a refund. I will say that the 4.00-18 Shinko 241 did have good traction in the dirt, but it was far and away the worst tire I have ever tried on the street, ever! And I ride on the street more than dirt.
@650gringo Thanks for your comment. I am still riding with this tire with zero issue
Smart thinking 👍🏻
I’m sure you know there’s a larger replacement tank, right ?
@brentevans6923 Yes. I don't like the way they look
They do mess with the appearance of really cool looking bike 👍🏻

This answers so many questions. Great idea. Can I use a bigger sprayer to do the same thing? I was thinking of one that mounts over your shoulders and can spray anything. Like the ones used by landscapers or pest control. Consider me a subscriber. Great video 👍
@Robocoppat Oh hell yeah! That would hold much more water!! Thanks for the idea, and thanks for subscribing 👍
You weren't kidding that's a bear! I'm just glad you're safe. Thank God you had an internal combustion engine handy whew! Be care out there!

@LordFrito Yeah you do!!
Aw come on, heated visor and hand grips and you're ready for the road easy peasy Also the idle sounds like it needs an adjustment, the RPM is very very very high it sounds like it's in the 2000-2500 range
@@toooldforgaming Choke still out half way
@toooldforgaming I have a heated vest. It works alright. I find that it's my hands that get cold. Which sucks because I just bought new gloves, and they're not warm enough. I don't want to spend the $$ on heated grips, though, because come March, it'll start warming up
@@westcoastdualsportadvent-cj5qn I mean just hook up a switch for the grips to turn them on and off?
@toooldforgaming I'd rather spend the money on other gear. 👍
Had a TW in the garage for a bunch of years, fantastic somewhat unique kinda bike .. nobody really cares about you riding down the shoulder or in areas big bikes attract attention .. I had Wolfman soft saddle bags on it {intended for a Kawasaki KLR but fit just fine, & the smallest size Wolfman tank bag that's fully waterproof, the saddle bags weren't waterproof but just used dry bags inside them, worked fine, put a bunch of pipe clamps from home Depot {about 5 of them} around the muffler so that it wouldn't contact the plastic side panel with the weight from the saddle bag, could still carry a passenger or another dry duffle on-top I absolutely did fit that bike through gates that I couldn't go around easily, & then in one occasion just lifted it over gate scratched the stock slid plate up a bit a dented it but it did its job, lots of aftermarket plates anyways One tooth up on the front sprocket .. that's probably the best performance upgrade., just allows a slightly lower RPM for hwy cruising wich is much needed in my opinion .. yes in theory higher speed at the cost of a longer 1st gear ⚙️ { 1st seems pretty unbelievably short doesn't it .? I found I was always shifting before hitting the cross walk at the other side of intersections & only in the sand will you want that unbelievablelby short 1st gear No liquid cooling system to worry about., I see you are already changing the oil yourself, the chain ⛓️ has been replaced {wich was a weak point} so that's good I think your ready to rip., good island bike { good north island 1000 bike .. ) Yes, I've watched a bunch of your videos today after stumbling across your channel { I'm in Burnaby ) I don't think the Itchy Boots bike is enough of an upgrade DR 650 { & if required in the lower suspension model } & your going to have a significant upgrade without too much extra money into upgrading suspension or whatnot { the 300 rally is awesome after changing the suspension & ICU box, maybe a couple other things also Idduno., the DR 650 is going to be hard to beat on valve & every known issue has a cheap fix available On the flip 🙃 side .. keep the TW200 for the rough stuff & own the Yamaha tenere 700 at the same time & utilize them for different purposes I've got a 1290R & a 250 dirt bike., I'm not confused into believing that the 1290R is a dirt bike.. its not.. its 500 lbs
@emerymahylis944 Yeah, I'm definitely going to keep the TW and buy something else. Probably not anytime soon, though, I'm really liking the TW right now.. Thanks for watching and commenting
@westcoastdualsportadvent-cj5qn There were two particular locations that the TW200 & its huge wheels came into effect .. enough so that I don't believe any other bike would have made it .. specifically though soft mud that has a sorta crust on the top, & you need to keep up the speed so as not to sink in {only about 30 kph} but any normal sized bike would have cut in like a pizza cutter = This was Meager Creek hot springs "there's an unpublished muddy route through a closed logging area & the hill to get back out you cannot ride in the truck ruts, you must ride between them on-top of the mud The other place was Frank Creek hot springs, again with the soft mud with a crust layer on top & you dare not stop Both of those experiences with my wife 2up ., you couldn't have done it with a heavy adventure bike nor a KTM 500 as they'd just sink in 4sure.. Subject change; I think I gave you bad information I'm now thinking 🤔 I wouldn't own a TW & tenere = still not enough difference I would own a TW & an Africa twin I'll provide the liter bike experience in a relatable way My mom lives in Victoria, so a couple times a year we're over visiting, its not even a thought to take the long route home, through Sooke to port Renfrew, then Duncan to Nanaimo (have dinner at that colorful Mexican house restaurant on-top of the hill) & then catch the last ferry home = & or take a ride out to Whistler as a dat trip or an overnighter to Prince George That's just something that I never really enjoyed with small cc bikes I will say that the electric safety packages saved me on the sea to sky hwy in the rain { in 2018 when I bought the 1290R } & there's a couple other features these big bikes have that I used to think we're nonsense but I've since changed my mind = Quick shifter "up/down" = Cruise control = Heated grips & seats = Fully adjustable suspension = Excellent weather protection = Absurdly powerful brakes = Super bright headlights = & Of course .. power supply (Ferrari racing power stop light to stop light 🤯} just need to survive your first year of ownership & everything will be okay 👍
How many gallons does it hold? You only traveled 43.5 miles ....If it was on empty NOT GOOD!
@hardychip3736 It wasn't empty, but I still gotta stop and fill up whenever I can. I can only go 126 kilometers or 78 miles before I gotta turn on reserve. That means if I head out into the bush, I can only ride about 65 kilometers. Minus the 20 kilometers it takes to get to the logging road from any given gas station, I've got about 40 kilometers of bush to explore. I know, I just need to carry a small bottle of fuel
A group of us are planning a ride from Vegas all the way up to the top of Washington state on tdub's. The pacific northwest is absolutely beautiful. Our desert is brown, hot, and dead lol. Cool video

I had prior Suzuki VanVan 200 ( few years ago ). Had XT250 a year ago. Really tempted to go back to bike like TW200. I had a grom once but it was a bit slow on 80km/roads and had trouble even hitting 80km/h ( GPS ) up slight hills. I recall that I could always count on VanVan 200 to do 85km/h up step ( for Ontario ) hills.

Iv had these, D605, Dunlop 750 all oem 50/50 tires that come on dual sports. They all work great for intended purpose. The problem is all the Noobs buying these bikes dont understand preload set up or ever adjust their psi offroad. Its much easier to blame the tire than their lack of skill and experience. Dual Sports are not race bikes and cant ride at race pace even with full knobbies anyway, having tires that are good on pavement and mild offroad/dirt road is golden and will have u riding your bike a lot more.

I have the Tusk rack on mine and have a 34L expandable motorcycle bag attached to it and carry 2 1L Trangia fuel bottles, there great for a little needed extra fuel if your not sure to make it to a gas station. They don't leak and easy to pour fuel without a mess. I was thinking of a bigger tank but like my stock tank, not sure if the cost and not as nice looking tank is worth it. I usually gauge my trips so I know how much fuel I need. You can easily carry a 1 gallon fuel can in that bag too, the small square shaped ones work well, but do leak from time to time. Take care👍
I never even thought twice about saying "first bird" and not just "a bird" 😂
😂😂😂 Awesome!

Do you ever go to bike night at Timmies near Home Depot on Thursday night? Around 6pm to 8 pm ish. Good group of guys and a nice mix of bikes.
@rossbrown9156 No, I'm not much of a group kinda guy. I picked up motel chain cleaner and maxima synthetic chain lube
@rossbrown9156 I'd probably never take the Tenere on anything, but paved and dirt roads. I'm enjoying my TW for now, but even riding to parksville and back is a long ride. Tenere would be much better long distance
@@westcoastdualsportadvent-cj5qn I don't do the group ride thing but Thursday night at Timmies is just a get together for coffee etc. and BS about bikes, not a group ride. People come and go and check out the bikes, I ride a DR 650 which I changed into a Super Moto bike with 17" wheels etc.
CMS is where I buy most of my bike gear, great bunch of people there and I found it pays to shop local. They give deals on there gear. That bike you want is a little taller and heavier than the one you have now, it would be a handful on real technical terrain. What kind of chain lube did you get, I use there Motul brand and like it. Check out bike night Thursday.
