Looking back, during the time of filming this, I was emotionally very low and mentally strained, trying to keep the metaphorical ball rolling- leading up to the album release, while the Reba tour, then the Luke Bryan tour had been cancelled due to Covid and my life had hit a standstill. I felt very hopeless. My team asked me if I’d like to put out some covers or something else since we had delayed the album release, and I said sure. I use to cover my hero’s music to bring myself comfort. To be closer to them, in a sense. So I went back to it, though I know some shoes are too big for me to truly fill, I enjoyed it. Knowing you all enjoyed it too makes it even better. Just wanted to let y’all know that I really appreciate everything y’all have commented and for you listening at all. And for myself another major positive was stumbling across one Caylee Hammack. I will never forget that first click on "ACM Presents Caylee Hammack Forged in The Fire" . To be completely unfamiliar with an artist and then get hit with THAT! I literally listened to it 5 or 6 times in a row! Instantly hooked on one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard! Completely fell down the Caylee rabbit hole in the 18 months since and always blown away by the next performance. Also have shared her talent with those family and friends. The reason you get so much kindness from your fans Caylee is because we get SO MUCH from you! It's give and take. God Bless Indeed!
