I was so close to skipping the clip as soon as I heard some things, but alhamdulillah stayed just to hear a little bit more. Jazak´Allah khayr, the sheikh was fair and honest enough to mention toxic masculinity as well! That shocked me, because I´m used to hearing scholars mostly only bring up toxic feminism. But he called out the brothers who are humiliating women due to being affected by either shallow non-Muslim influencers who only define status and success as money, cars and an abundance of women. Or they´re listening to "Muslim" men who claim to be guided, but are clearly involved in things that are sinful. Men who just seem to admire the brotherhood and support in Islam, so they seem to have joined it due to their warped thinking that it´s gonna enable them to have some harem of women and a bunch of "bros" patting them on the back. All in all...most people on social media, whether male or female, seem to be thorough attention seekers and fitna starters. They´re sowing seeds of resentment.
As salaam walakium question why muslims do have knowledge of worldly matter and Islam knowledge so you will be well balanced and not fall in the trap of society because this the land of the disbelief and they're following Alesister Crowley teaching
look at the title, nobody is going to think that "The film posits women being strong only as feminists and men being futile and misogynists". it's a movie. That was not the first thought that came to somebody's mind when watching this movie. this movie is supposed to be relaxing and fun for young girls. nothing more. @@BxFree
