- Опубликовано: 26 июл 2024
- Today we tackle the age-old question: "Can you dry a whole car with just one towel?" And to make things more challenging, the vehicle in question is a Ford Raptor SuperCrew! There's no getting around it, this thing is BIG.
To make matters even MORE challenging, we recorded the entire drying process on the first try in ONE TAKE with ZERO CUTS, (Only speeding up parts so the video isn't an hour long) as well as featuring multiple angles, so there's absolutely no denying that what you see is EXACTLY what happened. Enjoy!

Very nice , uncut and full proof demo. I Iike it. I am always a fan of Rag company towels.
I always do the roof and hood first. Great tip doing all the sides first
Thank you guys for al of the time and resources to show us how the tag company gets down! Much appreciated$$$$
Guess I need to try the DOUBLE TWISTRESS towels that I already own. I have been using my PLUFFLE towels exclusively for drying and love them so much, I have yet to use anything else😁
Andy Bell the double twisstress is where it’s at 👍🔥
@ Jamie the Cleaner
👍 I will pull out the DOUBLE TWISTRESS towels next time I wash my car.
We definitely know who the Boss!!. Great towels. Ozz
Just for drying a Raptor with a single towel you guys have my business! Can't wait to try it out on my 2014 Raptor. Also, tell your friend to get a Pedal Commander if she really wants smiles per gallon!
Great company, great products. Thanks for shipping to Alaska in just a few days.
Anthony, awesome video! The TRCs, best to date. I learned something new, I have an F-150 and have never been able to dry it with one towel, I always started from the top down. Keep sending your knowledge, tips, and tricks. Though I have to say, I'm having Beadmaker withdrawals, not seeing it in this video. What did you end up using for protection today? Thanks Anthony, keep keeping them clean and shiney.
I love love love the double twistress.
I love my TRC twist loop towels. They work so well. I usually only need 1 double twistress on a Grand Cherokee.
I have two double twistresses for drying. Rarely need the second one! I’ve been trying to get my neighbour away from sponges and chamois etc for many years. I finally managed it this year and advised him to buy a twist and shout which he loves. What sold it to him was showing him a drag and dry or the matador method as Jon from Forensic Detailing calls it!
Big fan of those twisted loop towels.
Doing it raw huh. Ride safe!
How does the twist n' shout compare to griot's PFM towel? I've only used the griot's towel but am looking to get another drying towel
I use the Double Twistress on the Mustang. I could use one, but I use 4. I use detail spray or spray wax for a drying aid, and these towels work excellent. I wish there was a Double Twistress small enough to use on the chrome wheels after using ONR and spray wax on them. I also use that towel to put Beadmaker on with
Rag company is an awesome company... In fact the best
I just bought the double twistess from Auto Obsessed and used it this weekend. I could believe how much water it holds
How do you deal with the drops from opening the doors, hood, gas door, trunk? Do you open everything first?
Cant see the streaks on white paint , I always have to use two on my black truck or it will be full of streaks!
Someone finally said it. All the videos I’ve watched of people bragging about their towels it’s never with a black vehicle. Need people to show on a black car how it really is.
Would you wash this after each car? And how would you wash it? Anyway to hand wash?
Do you recommend Double Twistress for soft black paint? Is it suited for both pat and slide methods?
Funny that most of these tips are simple but you just don't think about it washing 1 car ever 2 weeks or so...
For the at-home detailer these videos have cut my was time down from 2-3 hours to about 1 hour. I'd say the same or slightly better quality wash, just done much more efficiently.
FYI, they do serve Diet Pepsi at Medieval Times. Looking forward to more towel battle videos.
They serve Dr. Pepper and Habanero and Mango Chicken Wings.
Love my Double Twist towel :)
Myself a spritz of Beadmaker makes drying easier for this senior :)
And makes the car look nicer too. Good man.
Do you wash your drying towel after every use?
Anthony, dry the glass as you go around, save yourself some steps. Plus was the lunch bribe putting you a bit heavier for the UK Challenge?
I have some question.must wet towel before use it dry car ? I see at mr.pan
Bought this and it dried great the first few times I used it. Then it started to leave lint on my black Jeep. I use something else on the Jeep now but still use it on my other cars. It’s not noticeable on different color paint.
So if someone were to buy 3 of the big, twist loop towels, they should just go for the Double Twistress then, right?
I ONLY use the Double Twistress when I need a drying towel, especially for my Suburban! Since we no longer have the Drago, there is a new "one towel to rule them all"!
My preciousss......
how does this compare to the gauntlet?
I thought you were supposed to get the towel damp first before drying?
@@theragcompany i must've skipped the part where he mentioned that! whoops
site down?
I would like to see the double twistress result on that truck after waxing it and when wet covered with thousands of water beads. That truck is unprotected and there was not much water on it.
Always that guy 😂
@@theragcompany My wife isn't satisfied, my mistress is. Who's right? Perhaps they both are!
barry cook
I guess the rag company lost one customer.. nah I bet that guy still buys 😂
Still had streaks that caused water spots. The owner would not be happy until that truck was finished. That towel did not do what they thought it did.
@@theragcompany I am a fan. I have many of your towels, but let's be sensible, after the car was dried that last rinse left little to no water on the surface. Your products are good but there is no need to hype them in a situation that does not make them shine.
Leaf blower = 0 towels lol
I disagree with you. As a chemical engineer from ICT Mumbai, I feel that you need minimum two towels. One for metal and plastic parts ... and second for glass windows and windshield. Using the same towel on glass 'after' collecting some dirt , grease and soil from other parts is not very logical, is it ? Kindly explain your take on this point and correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't know if a "drying aid" actually helps to dry quicker, l believe they aid in lubrication. Cos if anything the drying aid would soak into your cloth as you wipe it up and make your cloth hydrophobic.
Sunil Raj Opti-Seal helps and no, it won’t get hydrophobic.
@@Sherukka You have an opinion and that's fine.
Sunil Raj It comes from experience.
I will concur optiseal really makes drying the vehicle really easy.
Sherukka has a fact based opinion. Sunil Raj has an opinion based in....I don't know, but it isn't reality.
Beadmaker
Drag Dry is a bad technique. It ALWAYS leaves streaks with going over it once or twice more. Just dry it normally. No need to "drag". Yes, I use Rag Company towels.
god that was a dreadful video
