I like the Rod, but the price is way out of hand!!
Great job Bobby on the New Orvis rod!
I really like my new Helios 4, but overall my Loop 7X is a better rod. Better in the wind, every bit as accurate, easily as strong, and way less torsional flex when fighting large Atlantic Salmon. Both are 9’ 8wt rods.
That said, the Helios is an incredible rod that will make any fisherman extremely happy to fish with it.
Bringing back the white stripe was a bad idea, imo it looks awful, but that’s not an important complaint about a fly rod.
It’s absolutely the best rod Orvis ever made, without question
Also, it’s hilarious that after 33 years of fly fishing, I know damn well shaking a rod tells me absolutely nothing, but I still need to do it every time I pick up a rod.
@@stonehorn4641 oh, come on. It does tell you something. You can better understand how it behaves. How stiff the blank is. Yes, it's not enough buy still. Some rods just feel better in the hand than others. And we should go with those feeling great. Fishing is joy so let's choose our toys properly)))
white marking on rod ugly for me
Not H4...its the Helios...
nice
There's what will probably cost you a minimum of $ 500 dollars not to mention the Orvis name
Cool story😂
That logo is horrible.
yeah ruined it not my taste..i like clean minimal simple
Everyone complained about that with the first Helios and they have done it again!! wtf.
to stand out.... we all get it, it to brand out ..... but its ugly....i agree with you WTF lol.. no one wants tramp stamp advertising...should cost less because you are advertising their brand with that eye sore white crap on it @@johnkenny694
Great advertising. Even from a distance, you know it's a Helios!
I dont let auto dealers put their logo on my cars. They arent paying me to advertise. Orvis isnt paying me ti advertise either@@ashleyevans3330
