I'm very excited to present to you my top 41 for this year's Eurovision Song Contest. I've been working for a little more than 3 weeks on this and, although exhausting, I love how it came to be. I hope you gonna enjoy it to! Visuals aside, let me know what you think about the ranking as well! For real...the level this year is extremely high and there is NOT A SIGNLE SONG I dislike. My #41 with my #1 have only 17% difference from each other [I rate each song analytically based on Quality(70%), StagePotential (15%) and Vocals (15%)] so you understand there were a lot of countries that scored the same rating and I had to tie break them :'(. Visuals aside, let me know what you think about the ranking as well! For real...the level this year is extremely high and there is NOT A SIGNLE SONG I dislike. My #41 with my #1 have only 17% difference from each other [I rate each song analytically based on Quality(70%), StagePotential (15%) and Vocals (15%)] so you understand there were a lot of countries that scored the same rating and I had to tie break them :'(.

About your question on Belarus, it is fun but it sounds a bit too basic. Malta has a far more interesting chorus in my opinion so I disagree about Belarus over Malta.
About Azerbaijan which is your more personal top 5 pick, I like it. I think the verses have a power and an anger that will translate well on stage. The main problem of the studio version is that the refrain actually sounds weaker than the verses. It is one of the main candidates to actually sound noticeably better live compared to the studio version.
@@theo7371 Malta is just a little lower (1% to be exact) because of something else. Although an amazing sound, it doesn't have a build up that will make me feel something great will happen towards the end, it's even uncertain at which point the bridge plays and(at first listen) the song ends without realizing it. With that in mind, it will be troublesome for the song to be staged in such a way so it can leave the audience in suspense since Eurovision will be seen by many first-listeners. Despite finding both as bops, Belarus at least has that build up(to the highest note) and feels more balanced as a song while Malta's is of course more original but also experimental(risky). Eitherway, I think we both know that Malta will do better anyway so...yeah 😅. As for Azerbaijan, I actually haven't noticed the change to power but rather the change to his tone but this comment will take forever so I'm ending it here, haha. Thanks for your opinion through! I appreciate such comments since we all have different tastes and is good to know what others think! 🙂🙏

Oh and another question. Is there a defining aspect of Arcade that made it number one for you. One particular aspect no other song possessed this year? Especially since other ballads did not seem superbly received by you. (I am from the Netherlands, but that is not the reason as to why I ask you this.)
@@saked9125 Well, I guess I will answer your questions while summing up my opinion on the top 10 😅.
ICELAND: The most original song and performance I have ever seen in this contest for yeeeeaaars!! Even for those who don't like the verses (Mathias' shouting-singing) they can definitely appreciate the chorus' ethereal sound (Klemens' part). I personally love the whole set of it and I think they compliment each other extremely well, DARK x LIGHT etc.
FINLAND: Yes, if you see my reaction video to Finland you will notice that I spot the negativity towards the song immediately once I finish reacting. The thing is...I sincerely and genuinely have NO idea what others hear that I don't. I think that's where the different taste/ear of people comes in. For instance, when I listen to Finland I listen to masterfully crafted EDM sound with an amazing hook and something I would defo put in a party! That along with deep meaning of the song about earth and humanity and the nostalgia that only Darude could possibly bring up front, makes for an amazing recipe
