So concise, demonstrative, and helpful as always, Pye!
That intro is gold xD
I totally thought your dog and couch were in black and white! 😆
GREAT video, thanks for the info!!!
Great video Pye, this has just helped with something I was struggling to create.
Great video . Thanks for sharing😊
Great Video!!
Make more videos like this please.
Gandalf - Half and Half Gray. ("Alf" from half "and" from and and "G" for gray)
Curous question for you. How do you determine when to use a softbox vs when to use the Magmod XL MagsPhere?
great video. curious what is that lightstand?
Probably would be better to zoom or get closer to get the model fill the frame. Then check by histogram if there is no lost details in shadow. The add light withou blowing out. Will it allow to make postprocessing with curves possible for any type of look later? If we have more defined look and shadows?
i learned something
In this scene, why aren’t you using shutter speed instead of iso to determine your fill? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

So on her right side of her face was dark but the final image it wasn’t did you use a reflector or is that editing?
Probably slightly edited. I'm sorry to say but I doubt any of these RUclips photographers are sharing photos raw right on the camera even when they say they are. They're all being touched up in Photoshop or Lightroom to exaggerate the effects of the tutorial they are pushing.
It's done by setting the exposure for the ambient light first. Essentially you take an image with no flash, setting the exposure for what you want the shadow level to be. Without changing camera settings, you add the main light and adjust power of the main light to get the look you want
Such a great and helpful video - thanks for sharing 🙌 Could you please share the Facebook group link in the details? Thanks in advance ;-)
You should have turned on the chandelier 😀
When Gandalf makes holes in the yard do you fuss at him for digging too greedily and too deep?
He doesn't dig fortunately.
Gandalf the grey
He is gray! And a bit tall.. I assume that's why he was named Gandalf
haha, gandalf the gray and white
Gandalf the gray - and then Gandalf the white!
ayyyy, you got it =)
I guess I’m going back on Facebook. 😊
Let's go!
It is almost an insult to use fill light when kiara shine on her own.
"This is Gandalf"
"You summoned me, little hobbit. Now feed me"
Gandalf because he arrives precisely when he means to.
Did I win sth?😅
Huh to me all photo all the same
He's a sheepdog, Gandalf ? my @lupbeagle
Sheepadoodle!
