One way to dodge the extreme heat is to work during the night. You have to have your ducks in a row though, because part runs have to be done the next day.
looking good, Ya the heat in the shop sucks, I am about to spray foam the ceiling in my shop, Piece by piece till the whole shop will be done. I also planning on a mini split AC/heat pump.. I have a fireplace but takes up room and doesn't keep me cool in the summer. lol
I was in the Hurricane Washington area a couple times in the last month and it was 105 degrees. I'm glad to be back in Washington State, it's 66 degrees and sunny here at my house. So much better! I'll be back in Utah later on in the summer when it hopefully cools down a bit. Got my fingers crossed there's some air conditioning in your future!
Hey Hollie when putting tire & wheels onto the vehicle if you use a longer bar (tire iron) and put it slightly to the side and lift up it tends to be easier cause you can move side to side and up and down, oh and you missed the edges of the inner fender wells 😉 keep you the good work love the channel 👍
so, look for a cheap used pallet jack then you can put those big tires on it and roll it up to the hub and adjust the height without all the hassle of manhandling it. I used to repair heavy equipment and that's how we did it all the time.
Hey Hollie , if your renting the shop space isn't the landlord responsible for maintaining the swamp cooler??? Those things are easy to work on. You have to replace the mats once a year and if its getting water it should work unless somethings wrong with the fan. Good luck thanks for the video.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS a Walter sighting!! so Hollie when are you starting back on Walter's build? you had a great start then nothing. what's the deal. it could be a wee bit of a challenge i know however Walter has been bonny good about it. 1 question, any plans to go to Scotland on holiday? and I think you should be the spokeswoman for on x
There is a long-handled valve stem installation tool that’s much easier to use than the small valve core tool. Local auto parts stores and Amazon carry them.
I had one of those & it wasn’t necessarily faster for install, but definitely easier to thread on and off the valve. Someone borrowed it last year and never returned it & Ive been using this one ever since 😂
Me: No, no, no! You can't spray paint on those wheel wells without cleaning all the finger oils off first. Holly: Hold up. Not gunna paint yet. Being lazy. Not going to be lazy. Me: Oh thank God. Holly: Gunna take these fender flares apart, so that I don't end up spraying the hardware. Me: Whaaaa? Holly: Now I'm just getting the shop ready to mount the wheels and tires. But I want to clean the tires first. Me: *sigh*
Lots of things aren’t about money. When you have a shop that operates as your personal garage (instead of a business with customers) it’s kinda kinda lazy to take something as basic as beadlocks to another shop. Also, I would never trust just anyone to mount beadlocks for me, in my mind that’s the same thing as a skydiver allowing someone else to pack their parachute. I intend to take this 6000lb plus rig into buggy territory and I expect it to get me off the trail. I feel better knowing everything was done to my liking 😅
Bummer you have to get rid of the exhaust loop. Results in losing a noticeable amount of torque. And doesn't sound as good. But, sacrifices must be made for big axles and suspension travel :)
what was playing while you were washing the tires? It is driving me crazy because I should know it. Surprised you got away with it. Oh ya, tumbleweed sucks
You guys are all savages putting the wheels straight on the concrete and asphalt😂 I hope the building owners are going to fix your swamp cooler. If you have to, then rent a scissor lift and let’s get up there and fix it!
About Evaporative Coolers: Check the water pump. Evaps work by passing air over soaking wet pads. If the pump has failed or is failing, the pads go dry. Check the "spider" tubing that distributes water into the pads from above, they can clog up with mineral deposits. Check the pads, they can degrade and should be replaced at the start of the summer. Remember that on humid days evap coolers do not work well. One other thing, control the air flow in the space, need the big door mostly closed so the air is blowing outward. An old memory here - Used to go up on the roof of my grandma's house and dump ice into the evap cooler. Didn't last long but sure took the swelter out of the worst part of the day. Air Conditioning is the best answer! :)
Yep, if they are making it humid in the shop then they are going to stop cooling. Spewing too much water can be bad to since eventually it will raise the humidity levels beyond what it can function at shooting itself in the foot so to speak. A humidity reading in the shop will tell you if your at the tipping point of functionality and then you have to consider whether the unity needs servicing or simply is too small for the area. Best!

Great.........!
Now I need some lovely guacamole and chips and salsa 😋
Hollie thanks for building my jeep

Good to see you up and working again Holly !
Just need a big ass fan... Look em up, that is their name! Otherwise the quick and easy is just a big box style fan. Keep cool!
Looks good 👍👍

I wish the cost of shipping stickers wasn’t so much to send to Canada.
I think I may have done some brakeClean and a green scrubby where the paints goin.....but that's just me....xoxo
You should have powder coated the inner fenders!!
Awesome jeep 👍👍
You need to give it to me! Would love it!
Hollie, heat does the same to me. I feel your pain 😢😢
I'm excited to the jeep
great as always great content very entertaining
Hey, Ms Lovely, glad to see a new upload. Much love ❤
got my raffle entry shirt 🙏🏽
What was the chemical you were using on the tires when you cleaned them? Seemed to work pretty well
OK, Hollie, for me, it's so much easier just to drive onto the tire to break the rim 🙃
Time for a tire change machine Hollie, given the amount of tires you do.
Dig'n the curly hair from what I can see of it
You may want to think about being a third shifter for at least till they get the swamp cooler fixed is gonna be 20-30 degrees cooler in the night
Please, please, please be careful lifting heavy weight shifting objects!!! We do not want you re injuring that back!
Love to you both❤
Boy howdy, my JLU is looking great! Can't wait to win it! 😀
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO

In a commercial application it's most common that the tenant maintains the HVAC. If it needs replacement that would be the landlord's responsibility.
Welcome toast. George
Are you going to have zip up hoodies???
Have you thought about working at night while it's cooler until you get the swamp cooler fix?
Jw where ur at when u goto the paint spot in stores is the shelfs and stuff covered in paint like swear ppl dont trust the top of the cans 🤣
I miss you already🙂

Oh man. That is pretty rough that they can’t get the cooler working for you in that shop😮😮😮😮😮😮. The jeep looks awesome though !!
Hollz...your hair looks cool like that..curly. 👍🏻👍🏻
Hello there. It’s hot here in Virginia too. Love your site.

Lmfao.....same here.....I'm like ...ok she about to bust out the BrakeClean n a scotchbrite..... nope lol

Mounting and balancing doesn’t cost that much lol I’d save the energy and just pay for that to be done lol😅

Hi Hollie! Do you remember me? I'm the turtle mug guy. Can I come by and look at my Jeep? I say mine cause I'm gonna win it!

Would you happen to have any Dana 44 front axles, that might have been take offs, for sale??
A MMTV video to start my Monday, does it get any better?!?!? NO.... the answer is no!
😊💙💙
While watching House of the Dragon, I heard an accent I thought I recognized. Turns out you sound like the people of the North.

When I ran a swamp cooler, I drilled more holes so there weren't dry spots on the pads. Yes, minerals plug everything.
