Thank you for the tutorial, I actually found that it was easier to use a pivot table chart but your tips and trick were helpful in knowing how to manipulate the chart itself to get it to where I needed it to be. Thanks!
Curious about the bin titles: since the numbers overlap (40-45, 45-50), it's confusing that the number in the sample data 45 appears in the 40-45 column but not in the 45-50. Should the bins be labeled 40-45 and 46-50, then?

you need to add a new series to you plot by going to "Select Data" and choosing "Add Series", highlight the new values for Female and Excel should pick a new color and place them next to the Male values
I would like to do a Percentage Frequency Distribution instead of a count. I need to calculate the percentage of time for an outcome of a specific number. I have done the count with the Frequency Function but I cannot change the Count to a Percentage Distribution. Any ideas? TIA!
Thank you! Excel's built in histogram function is utter crap, plus there's not way for it to update if you update your data without doing so manually. Why excel doesn't have a Histogram chart option is mind boggling.
This somehow does not work for me, everything goes right then when i click shift cntrl enter , every square fills with the formula literally, it does not give a number :(
