To give you a little backstory Jun is fighting to wish his dead brother back and Shinji is fighting to wish his dead clan back neither of them are the good or bad guy they just wanna wish they're loved ones back
The guy did the first one himself with a mouse but he did use stuff from Naruto, DBZ, and others. He took the part where time stopped and Yellow hit several Red clones from a Jet Li movie called The One, where Jet Li fought Jet Li. The second one took him three years to do and just yesterday he came out with a more story like version of part 2.
In case you were wondering. Shin Ji or The Yellow Guy is a version of Iron Fist from Marvel Comics. Originally partnered with Power Man in Heroes for Hire. You can look him up online. Jun or The Red Guy, is a blend of Yamcha from DBZ (Wolf Fang Fist) and Naruto.
I comment kinda late but Yall already know the story but Jun actually gave Shinji 3 chances lol. You see, first he aims a one inch killer punch on the stomach, Shinji still got up to fight. Then he used the Wolf Fang Fist on him, and still got up to fight. And then, Jun uses one inch killer punch again but this time aims for the heart, thats why we hear a heartbeat. So lol, no one here is the villain but Jun was trying to teach Shinji something, probably about his rage and he didnt listen.
He definitely references fights from Naruto, Boruto, Dragonball, etc. Pretty much all of the close up scenes where they're drawn with realistic proportions doing hand-to-hand are literally traced over fights from anime. He lists stuff like that in the credits. He literally uses a bunch of stuff from the Kakashi/Obito fight in the first Combat Gods
Thank you for listening to my request, you're the best 🥰 I told you that some paws will be thrown and I knew that you would love it. 25:58 and yes Melon, he has more content. I know this because I've watched some of his other videos
Neither of them are bad yellow is just fueled by anger and past experiences after his village got burned down they wanted a wish yellow wanted his village back while red wanted his family back but red sounds like the better one because he is older and wiser
you got to watch the trailer, there was this trailer before the 2 part was released that explains why are they fighting and all the background info to make you more hook up to it
Shinji and Jun are both good characters Shiinji sorta acts like a anime protagonist early on, while Jun acts like an anime protagonist who's at the end of his journey
Yknow the funny thing is about combat gods is that shinji would have won if jun didn’t get his power up They say shinji could have won against jun in 2 but he was injured also his mind was in the wrong spot
If you like something like this then I’d recommended Imitator collab either 1 or 2. And/or Dominate which is similar to combat gods, but came out before it. Great reaction through. Cant wait to see more.
The first one had controversy since it was traced from fights of naruto and other animes. Thats how he did it with a mouse but the second one which took 3yrs was not traced but definitely not drawn with a mouse
Combat Gods 1 got a lot of heat because he scoped much of the close up animation and choreography from actual anime. The second part is basically his redemption.
I guess Jun has something in common with shinji's clan's destruction, and that's why shinji is so mad at him. I feel the second episode like seeing a goku vs sasuke fight in terms of symbolic. Goku is always here to protect while sasuke is here to avenge his clan. What makes it different from naruto vs sasuke is that goku is way stronger than sasuke while naruto is slightly better. Where naruto made sasuke come back to konoha with the words, Jun is waking him up to reality with his bare fists
Where do you see him being mad at jun? He wasnt mad in the first one when he thought he won. He got mad in the second one when he got his ass whopped xD. The only reason he got mad was this ass whopping, nothing else.
the shadow clone jutsu is a forbidden form of the clone jutsu for the very reason that you can use far less chakra and produce far more clones naruto using the shadowclone jutso is the reason he can pull several hundred clones out of his back pocket in a pinch also in order to dispel a shadow clone you need to deal fatal damage on top of every clone being just as strong as the user and in narutos case able to use the sage mode and nine tails chakra
I never see anyone point this out, but the finishing move that Shinji uses on Jun is repeated in Combat Gods 2, except Jun dodges/blocks every hit this time.
Did any one notice that they were playing rock paper and red won because he took paper yellow lost because he took rock it happened in like 16 mins in to the video 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
“Damn, this is better than like most anime fights” Combat Gods 1: **Traced from most anime fights** (This isn’t hate toward Jhanzou though, I don’t personally care that he did it but I’m glad that after 3 years he was able to make something original and I look forward to future projects)
Do you think you could watch Zimaut Animation? He does anime and comic characters with fights that look similar to this but are done differently. I think you'll like every one of his vids
Stick figure fights are a part of a lot of people’s childhood.
It really is. Shock, henry stickmin, & fancy pants just to name a few of the many master pieces out there
Dating back to the newgrounds days. XiaoXiao and Stickdeath were pioneers of stick-kind.
Xiao xiao is still around

I think she alr knows bro
@@babybipazod8969 Idk, that info was all in the trailer and i don't know if she watched it.
I never knew that
Damn. shit.
It's the other way around. Jun wants his tribe back, Shinji wants his brother.
Since Jun clearly knows from the first fight that clones aren’t strong enough for Shinji, I’m thinking he just uses them to tire him out.
And distractions for him to get a good hit in
Assuming it works like the shadow clones from Naruto, the only use for them in fights with equals is to tire them out and cause distractions.
If hadn’t had the clones he wouldn’t be trash talking
@@beepboopl5324 bro did u even watch the fight red cleary beat him without shadow clones
@@beepboopl5324 lol bruh that’s any technique.
Don't normally comment but was thrilled to hear kenichi get named dropped 🤣
Yeah I wasn’t expecting that
Made me smile
I'm actually glad i wasn't the only one cuz that's what it reminded me of the first time i ever saw this
You're the real MVP for knowing History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi

Pretty sure its just common knowledge
they would understand if they actually watched bruce lee ngl

19:41 was hilarious, the immediate response lmao
17:11 Yellow dude got the speedforce 😂 so awesome!!!
In case you were wondering.

Iron Fist is also the name of several real martial arts training techniques.
Wolf fang style martial arts are also used by multiple people coordinating together. Hence why red uses his shadow clones more often
The RWBY music fits so damn well.
I caught that too. That song never fails to get me pumped.
And think... We had to wait THREE YEARS for the pt. 2
I comment kinda late but

This is basically goku versus naruto
Because people think light colors are the goods ones and the dark ones is the evil one🗿🗿
losing after getting the flashback power up and plot armor is crazy 💀
So many good references in this feature; mainly Naruto and dbz
16:31 that is Wing Chung
No clue if anyone else said it yet, but he should definitely get even more respect since he apparently does it all with a mouse
The first one had controversy since it was traced from fights of naruto and other animes. Thats how he did it with a mouse but the second one which took 3yrs was not traced but definitely not drawn with a mouse
History's Strongest Disciple, Kenichi one of my top favorite animes
love this vid. it took the animatior 3 years to make part 2

Oooooooo combat gods, this gonna be good
I understand why people think Jun is the bad guy, but man does it irk me after finding out awhile ago why they’re fighting
oh the nostalgia of stick figure fights. this was good
2:57 the background music is from the RWBY serise the song is red like roses its either part 1 or 2
15:44 Seems like Yellow has the Iron Fist from Marvel.
Nice plot twist for the role reversal.
Stick figure games on newgrounds was my childhood
The red one is dragon the yellow one is iron fist
Did anyone tell him that yellows village got burn down because of red
If you’re interested in more high quality stick fight animations I would definitely recommend those from guildedguy. They’re top notch.
