  • In this episode we sail from Haapsalu to Sõru (12hrs) and from Sõru to Visby, Gotland (156nM, 46.5hours). We have to handle torn headsail, headwinds and no wind at all during the trip.

    It makes sense now that if your wife is the Iron man, that you're a 'Drama Queen' 😉(just messin'). Another enjoyable episode of boating life, Thank you.

      @@sailingsmalldreamingbig9022I crew on one here in Ireland which was built in Ireland, beautiful boat which combines decent performance and handling with sea keeping and a very sea safe cabin. The fact they can be crewed by two people comfortably is even better.

      Thank you for watching! Refitting / renovating the OE36 is still going on but it takes a lot of time

      @@sailingsmalldreamingbig9022 I understand that the OE36 takes time. I and many others would like to see any new video of your work with the boat if you have and when you have even if it is only a few minutes.

    This might seem like a silly question but what would you say the largest waves you would sail in with a shipman 28

    • @sailingsmalldreamingbig9022
      @sailingsmalldreamingbig9022  4 месяца назад

      I have experienced more than 2m high waves during the Baltic Sea crossings to Aland and Finland (according to weather buoys) during last years. The boat handled them well. Much more important is the interval of the waves and the nature of waves, are they breaking etc...
