Just saw this 3 years late! This is badass
They sound sterile, like they’re just running through the motions, no attitude , no passion. Can they play yeah but they’re so not into this
Talk about the experience of a lifetime, this is something no one from my generation would have ever dreamed this to be possible. This rock school concept is really beautiful and I wish it had been around back in the early `80's. These kids are so talented and will hopefully bring a lot of the history of music into their future endeavors. Music today could really benefit from re-visiting the artistic sensibilities and creative vision combined with the spirit of Rock and Roll into the pop of today. We need artists that can create from scratch, with instruments, music and not just rip files from recordings made by real artists that did so before them. These kids give me hope.

Good call. The kid had to do some crazy string bending to replicate the licks where EVH pulls up on the bar. Bravo, I'm 55 and he plays better than I do... Great tone in his fingers already. I'd love to hear his take on "On Fire"...

I know you don't swear Warren so I'm going to go American for a second and say this project is frickin' killer. It's so lovely to see not even kids, just some musicians absolutely committed to rocking a bunch of covers like this so hard and so well!!! It's also great that young people have something like this to do nowadays. I think you and I grew up on the UK at the same time and certainly at my school the only thing was orchestra, not a terribly compelling activity for 14 year old Motley Crue fan like me. ...and Thomas on the drums!!!!!!!!!!! w(°ｏ°)w

My personal all-time favorites, VH. First, hearing that there would be no click. Many adults would be intimidated. Second, one day to do this live in studio. The accuracy considering those factors alone, equals prodigious kids. I've been the drummer, the guitar player, and singer in many bands. I've been a Van Halen fan for as long as I can remember heh. I can't tell you how many copies of their earlier albums I wore out in the tape deck of my car driving to school and to work in the 80's (before CDs), I've also been playing drums since 1980, and I have to tell you, these kids rocked these songs. It's always great to see kids with passion and drive to make good music and I wish them all nothing but the best as they continue their lives.
