A poetic development! That last note of having a blind-buy better than expected is a truly gratifying feeling. Gives me confidence to spend more money 😂 Gawd I wish that wasn't true.
First whiff of my sample and was immediately reminded of the gauzy, powdered (read "dandy", in a good way) Eau D'Orange Vert which morphs into the thin veil of spice and orange reminiscent of Cologne Du Maghreb mixed with the slight skank of Eau D'Hermes. Cologne Intense by Houbigant could be recollected as well.
Your description led me to decide to buy this fragrance. I pre ordered it and it will be here in 10 days. I am very intrigued by your review. I subscribed from Bangladesh.
Definitely a top class creation in the citrusy scent realm. I sampled it and almost bought it, but I really need to control my collection size. The orange smell in orange sanguine is authentic, but I get bored after smelling it a few times. However, this one is just way more complicated and lovely. Great review Pep!
i get the picture...a very natural smell of the enviornment of the tree/fruit...welldone...sounds very good to me...sounds very natural..esp just smelling the raw outer skin of the fruit w/o bruising it..just the hint of the orange oils...hmmmm love that...You spoke of an orange perfume from L'Artisan Parfums....that sounds more "fruity" than this..i understand your concept on this featured one..very good review.
You could try Portugal/4711 if you havent already found "your" orange yet. For me the perfect orange. Azemour is one of my signatures btw. I really enjoy its vintage and animalic (cumin?) qualities
I would HIGHLY recommend Agrumi by Alessandro Serpico. Orange, grapefruit, and Sicilian lemon. Sillage is good and longevity is meh (as with all citruses), but if you're looking for a realistic juicy orange - agrumi is it!
@@TheScentinel - Great to hear. It caught me by surprise. I'm looking forward to it warming up again in my part of the world, so I can start wearing it again.
Amazing review I tried a pat nicholai in summer Believe it is a Japanese fruit Wow I felt ashamed to love it the girl I was with said it was feminine For me it was so beautiful Try it
I didn't know Corticchiato was Moroccan, that explains a lot with the house then as I have this connection with everything I've tried. I must say, I haven't tried anything with orange and if I have, I dont remember, but this sounds like one to look forward to when it get's warmer here. My favorite from the house is Cuir Ottoman and that was a blind buy too :)
Hello, Pep. Is this better than Orange Sanguine? I bought Ambre Russe from this house and it amazed me, so I have respect for the brand. Regards from Mexico.
Damn...thats some olfactory journey. I did experience the older bottle and it did lack the fresher aspects of your seductive encounter (straight oak moss bomb on me).

One of the best review ever. 🎉

Oh my goodness, you are an amazing speaker--pure poetry in your description. Pep, you an artist painting with words.
Stephen, you are always the kindest with your comments and i truly appreciate them.
I'm only familiar with musc Tonkin by them , so it was great to learn more about this offering from them ,🍀 appreciate it

I've never smelled this, but I do love the name of this fragrance.
If you ever do find the orange fragrance of your dreams, let me know.
I am starting to think it doesn't exist
@@TheScentinel Hope springs eternal. Maybe the right perfumer just hasn't dreamed it up yet.

I am not sure if he is Moroccan
@@TheScentinel I just read he was born in Morocco, but I'm not sure how much of his life was spent there.
@@theudopantograph ah, you did more research than me
I just received it today. Is it me or it’s really close to Terre d’Hermes eau très fraîche ?

They are different types of orange scents. I found orange sanguine not to smell very natural, i have reviewed it in my channel.
Thanks Pep. From your review I believe that I will blind buy it. Appreciate it¡¡¡
Amazing house--I finally got a bottle of Le Cri and holy hell in a handbasket....absolutely phenomenal. Maybe the best Iris I've ever tried.
Le Cri is fantastic
Do you have any recommendation for clean green and elegant fragrance for office setting, Pep? Thanks.
Sample Corsica Furiosa from tgis house

I got iskander by this company and it scarred me for life, rubbish unfortunately 😔
Oh, I’m so glad I read this 🙏🏼
I shall avoid. Thank you Mr. Mitch.
