Brilliant episode as always, thoroughly enjoyed this. I've mentioned before my love of immortelle, which stems from a vacation in Corsica where it grows in the wild. Sitting on rocky outcrops overlooking the sea in mid august in the high heat with cooling sea breezes, Sables takes me there. When immortelle dries out it loses the curry tang and sways more to a spicy hay Recent finds that satisfy that immortelle kick for me are Oiro- Mona Di Orio, Biche dans L'Absinthe-Victoire Gobin Daude and Immortelle de Corse-L'Occitane. They all transport me back to Corsica, fond memories.
That FB Under My Skin....you got to get it on your skin, I think it will raise a smile!
Thanks for sharing those immortelle recs I have never smelled Simon... always greatfull to see one of your comments mate 😊
I have like 19million samples to go through but I will try and prioritze under my skin... many people whos word I take seriously say they think it fits my taste 🍻
@@RamseytheRam I may be wrong but to me it's either pre or post coital Salome!
Ahhhhh I love stuff like that 🫂
Thank You Professor.. As Always 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Always appreciate you watching & commenting Antonio 😊
Thanks Ram 🙏🏼 I love immortelle. That warm, liquorice, spicy caramel like aroma of the absolute is so unique and yet divisive. Great list. The most realistic immortelle, as in the living plant, smell I have tried in a modern perfume is Ganymede. The plant has that curry quality, but it's balanced with this beautiful fresh green mandarin like quality that makes it so beautiful. Ganymede replicates this by building an immortelle accord that smells like the plant, more-so than the absolute, which is cool. Also, nice to see a note like this used in modern perfumery in something that's a bit more mass appealing. Anyhow, looking sharp ✌🏼 cheers
Thanks for the feedback Jura... video on Ganymede comimg soon... so many samples ... so little time 🤣🤣🤣
This was an absolutely awesome review and so many of the fragrances you mentioned are among my very favorites. Thank yuh Ramsey!
Thanks Phyllis... means a lot to hear that from you....thanks for watching & commenting 😊
SUNSHINE MAN 🌞 LEAVES ME SPEECHLESS AZ WELL...A MASTERPIECE
Absolutely love sunshine man... its the reason I dont own a bottle of Eau Noire🌞
Fantastic list there mate! Love myself a bit of immortelle! My great friend Pep is a massive fan of 1740. 👌🔥
Thats make 2 of us... 1740 is amazing! Thanks for watching & commenting 🍻
Yo,..Wearing Cuir Beluga today and I looked up Immortelle!...And, yesterday, I did CHERGUI...So, I must be a fan!...I'm here in class, ready to learn.
...jeez, thought my school days were over a long while ago. But, this a pleasure :))
Thanks for watching Bobby... I have never smelled Cuir Beluga 😱
Immortelle was a hard note for me for many years, only recently I starting to really appreciate, and sometimes even love, still remember the first time I tried sables and 1740... oh man :p that was a big dislike back then ahahah, but now I enjoy those. Hay on the other end, since early in this journey is a note I really like
Thanks for watching & commenting Samuel, isnt it interesting how our nose can flip after a year or two or sometimes a decade or two.... thats why I never get mad or upset or two argumentative when someone likes something or smells something different than I do 😊
Hi Ram! This one will be good!!! 🙌
All AlD frags are at least good.. most are great... so glad Russian Adam stuck to his guns and just makes fragrances the way he thinks they should be made... every one I smell or wear is a blessing... and smelling the individual Taif Rose Otto thanks to him is another blessing! The man is a saint 🙏🙏🙏
Brilliant insight into the versatility of the notes of hay and immortelle. Regrettably, never tried Sunshine man but will be getting a sample pronto after watching your reaction! Great vid as always, Ram.
Look forward to seeing your reaction to 'Under my skin' from Francesca Bianchi.
Under my skin video coming soon... do let me know what you think of sunshine man 😊
@@RamseytheRam Will do, maestro
😄
Pep from The Scentinel loves 1740. It's his signature 😊
Nice what an amazing signature scent to have 😊
Definitely do a comparison between Bourbon and the extrait. I'm interested in how they differ. 🤔
Thats gonna be a tough one... but I will try 🙏
I just got Tabac Tabou and Fougere Bengale(this one a blind buy, along with Corsica Furiosa) from a discounter for an incredible price. Absolutely love Tabac Tabou for its mildly funky, dank swampiness. Sampling Fougere Bengale this morning and trying to figure it out. There’s this cinnamon note that I have a hard time with, not sure why, but I don’t like it in fragrances. It’s the same reason I can’t get with Papillon Bengale Rouge(even though people rave about it). I’m going to give it a few wears though, and see if it changes my mind.
That's awesome ... so glad you are loving the house of parfum d'Empire... one of my favorite niche houses
Ooh some top tier Artisanal samples right there from Will, and from the USA 🇺🇸 houses fabulous offerings, and great examples and insight into immortelle, which I do like when done tastefully (#ref a tasty curry dish lol ),yes Sunshine Man says it all terrific fragrance. Super vid cheers Rams 🙏👍✌️
Thanks for watching Bren & thanks to Will for sending me these amazing samples 🤌🤌🤌
Yea that Fougere Bengale and Tabac Tabou are high on the acquisition list. Keep up the good work sir ✌🏻
And a second thought. I've held off saying but after long consideration and fortifying the armory I'm close to declaring Dunhill Blend 30 my favorite fragrance in my collection. ✌🏻
Dude it really is amazing ... up there with other masculine unicrons in the same catagory like Derby & Patou Pour Homme 😊
Favorite of your whole collection! So Dunhill Blend 30 is your Bel Ami ... holding down the number one spot 👀
BTW I still want to have you on a live stream if you are willing 🍻
Well, this will be the 3rd attempt to try and comment.
I'm not sure what I am mentioning. I did mention cost on the first one, not on the second one.
I did mention the person from eBay you referenced in the second.
And on both of them, I did mention IndieScents.
Anyways, good upload.
RUclips is getting strict 😂😂😂
Rhododendron - a common garden flowering bush, I think Rich and Audrey or Jura could tell you more - Brits are fixated on their gardens and thay have a lot of those in their backyards :) they are gorgeous perennials.
Ahhhh i knew someone either knew or wasnt as lazy as I where I couldnt be bothered to stick it in a search engine 😂😂😂
@@RamseytheRam well... I just like plants XD guess in Texas you only have those strange, dry, rolling bushes like in old westerns 😜
I think Hendley bourbon has castoreum. I would call his perfume indie, personally. Maybe I'm wrong... I think he uses a lot of hay like notes as well. I own Amora, Rosenthal, Bourbon edc and Felt. I really really enjoy these perfumes. I'd love to try his Narcissus. It's not always available. Fragranceview did a nice video/interview with Hans Hendley. You can see some of his operations.
Nice ... thanks so much for sharing & for watching & commenting 😊
💕💕💕💕💕💕🥂
Hope one day you will talk about AGATHO PARFUM 🍾
Never smelled anything from AGATHO Parfum yet... hopefully soon 🙏
@@RamseytheRam 💕💕💕💕💕💕
If you wear an Immortelle, you' ll have a lot of friends among insects.
Jubilation xxv is in so many videos, because it is so rich and opulent, and it covers so many ingredients.
I'm glad about that.
The next review can be the Davana note.
Cheers man....
Yes! I still have a few notes left like Coffee ☕️
Then I am going to RANK all my NOT a top ten videos 😱
@@RamseytheRam 🤯
@@nastyfyme i have already ranked a couple of them ... and there is a special playlist for the ranked episodes already 😂😂😂

12:05 one of the best deer musk Perfumes
Santal Galore? Yea the deer musk is amazing but the mysore sandalwood is even more amazing 😀
I prefer Siberian Musk for a pure musk fragrance 🍻
@@RamseytheRam have you had a chance to smell raw deer musk
Have you tried these 3 houses Trnp, shalini, House of Matriarch perfumes ?
Thanks for the upload Ramsey
I have a couple matriarch samples and discovery atomizers to discuss soon... but Tmp & Shalini... no
EYE NEVR HAD A FAVORITE HOUSE UNTIL EYE DISCOVERED FRANCESCA BIANCHI...CHERGUI
IZ INSANE NO DOUBT...I'M PISSED CAUSE EYE ONLY BOUGHT THA 50 ML LOL
50ml is basically all you can get Chergui in the old presentations... got some Francesca Bianchi early impressions coming soon 🤌🤌🤌
Hendley is fantastic, but Untitiled isn't one of his best IMO. Fume, Mown, and Bourbon EDC are my favorites.
Nice....i cant wait to get to know the brand with some early impression videos 😊
hay there 👋🏻🐏🦆
