    Well spoken as always.
    I started my frag journey with Creeds only back in 2018. I learned early to only look for older bottles. More than a year later I opened up to other brands, thankfully.

    Hello ramsey. Question, Did you Himalaya 2017 bottle came with the round cap? I saw a lot of 2017 bottles with sharp cap, just like the 120ml versions. But i saw a SMW from 2017 with a round cap and i thought it was fake, that's why i m curious about your bottle if it came with that round cap

    • @RamseytheRam

      @@JigSawGamingim pretty sure they changed from sharp to round in 2017, so both is possible for 2017 batches of creed in general. Same for the bottle sizes 75/120 to 50/100

    Very insightful, I heard that Creed were members of the "don't let the truth stand in the way of a good story" cult, so this was expected and fun to hear.
    Similarly, when I started, I was a collector of Mugler A-Men flakers (I miss them😭) but soon after I started buying Creed, Amouage, Xerjoff and Roja.
    Interestingly, although I moved on from Creed and don't own a single bottle, any amount of "dirt" and hate will not change my opinion on some of their creations, like GIT, SMW and MI. One day I plan to restock on MI at least. But the perfume world is very competitive and I need to always have some money available for Areej 😁
    Thanks for the review 🙏

    The old formulation is the one that I remember most too. Lovely stuff. Appreciate the context Ramsey.👌 Still marvelling at the fact that it took Gabe coming out of nowhere and doing his homework to inform veteran enthusiasts about the brand. But star struck fools are often the easiest to mislead aren't they. 😆

    The house of Creed does have awesome scents, but I wouldn't pay what the house charges for their creations. I've always preferred amouage if I want to spend that kind of money. Very helpful and informative review as always. I think creed took many notes out of paco rabanne xs pour homme making this fragrance. I prefer the paco rabanne xs over this any day and it last way more than this.

    I think 2002 was around when I was first getting into fragrances. Not like I've gotten into it recently over the last few months, but I remember trying and buying Ralph Lauren Polo Blue, because I liked it so much, when it first was released around then. That was a memorable event for me. I've barely tried Creed; just smelled it at Nordstrom, but I have a sample of Silver Mountain Water that the lady made for me at Nordstrom and also an official Aventus sample that the guy at Nordstrom gave me.
    I only have some samples of PDM so far, and still haven't even tried Amouage or Roja or Nishane or many other big fragrance houses yet, but I'm learning and hopefully I will get to try them some day. I want to try more MFK, because I've only tried a sample of Grand Soir so far. I especially want to try Oud Satin Mood and BR540 of course, and Silver and Gold Fluidity.

    Cheers Rams, I have a similar experience with jumping on the Creed hype train 🚞 and of course Himalaya is one of them , I can’t compare to older batches but I figured it was a bit fleeting and put it down to it’s airy cold nature. That said I don’t regret having My Creeds, only the goddam highway robbery on the price points but ,one learns by one’s mistakes hahaha. Hey Ram It’s really strange that not a single frag-head has addresss the fact that this a replica of La Praire for Men(2000) .
    We all know by now that Mr Oliver Greed has a tendency to steal ideas. La Prairie for men was only sold exclusively at Neiman Marcus ,the line includes an eye treatment , after shave , face moisturizer and the Perfueme.
    The proyect was short lived and was discontinued around 2002
    I bet Oliver saw this as an opportunity to replicate as close as he could the OG and market it as Himalaya. I may be the sole owner left in the world of the original creation , 2 bottles and believe me , Himalaya is about 90% as close . Probably the OG being more citrus and Himalaya more floral

      @laila-intima 2 месяца назад +1

      @@RamseytheRam thanks for your trust , yes I was a fan on La Prairie for men , had the whole line , and been hoarding bottles of the cologne when they appeared in eBay , my last 2 bottles purchased around 10 years ago , in the meantime I started the creed hype , first with aventus, GIT, Royal Oud, Bois De Portugal, Spice and Wood, Vanesia, Erolfa, Tabarome, and when I got Himalaya I knew at that precise moment that I had this almost exactly fragrance on my collection , so I grab the whole bottle and made test at home with same conclusion that is almost identical as La Prairie for Men

    • @DrIstoris

      I disagree, I think that it is just a coincidence( especially when the brand is so unknown). I don’t think Bourdon would copy someone’s work.

    • @laila-intima
      @laila-intima 2 месяца назад
