I use astrology as my spiritual monkey bars to propel me forward and keep me moving. I love the framework of the evolving relationships and aspects within the cycles of the planets through the signs. I can subjectively attach the main themes of my life at the time to the measurable movements in the sky. There's a rhythm and a musicality to the cycles and the movements. There are things to look forward to, and support for giving myself a break when things are intense and challenging. The tarot adds another layer of connecting to the archetypes expressed by the planets. I can use all of the imagery in service to what my heart needs for its healing, and for the motivation and inspiration that the stories can provide. I appreciate you opening this discussion.

I cannot Express properly, how your videos and insights have helped myself and so many others. My thoughts: when we start our journey into understanding our true selves, most of start from a place of confusion and yearning for answers to help us understand who and why we are. It only makes sense that as you grow and change your practice should grow and change. If we have become more aware and open to the universe, then why wouldn't our way of interpreting and sharing change. Every practice is different because as humans we too are different from each other. Our experience and our path is not the same. The way one person interprets is different from the other. I found so much resonance in this chat! After a long break from both astrology and tarot, I've found that my relationship with both has evolved and healed in some really interesting ways. I think if I had to put my finger on the shift I've experienced with tarot and why I'm having so much better of a time with it now, it's that I no longer look up interpretations and I pull much more infrequently and usually from a more general and curious place. Astrology has been similar in a lot of ways. I still love it a lot, but many of the prevailing themes and interpretations just don't resonate anymore. As my own understanding of the mechanics of this existence expand it also becomes more challenging to accommodate old modalities of thought that seem illusory now. This talk reminded me of the importance of beginner's mind. When I was first voraciously learning all I could about astrology and my birth-chart, there were so many times when I'd be wrestling with the complexities of someone's energetic signature and things would start to blend and blur. Those moments of illumination were always the most enjoyable for me, and there's still nothing quite like a juicy transit at a spooky moment in life. Anyway, here's to exploring the fluidity of our archetypes in the new age!
I love this! I can relate so much. I feel like for so long my “I need to figure it out” part was eager (and this still gets the best of me every once in a while) to stare at my chart and find reasons to feel concerned or anxious. And the reasons would always be there! So exhausting! I am still working on releasing a lot of fear based programming, and your posts are helping to reframe things for me. I recently also finally had a reading from someone that felt so affirming and shined light on the gifts, opportunities and wisdom that were on offer as I live with certain looooong term transits in my chart that had me previously freaked out. I believe there is a part in my chart that someone once interpreted in a book to say “do not use astrology to work with people”. I can appreciate that me doing so from the mindset I used to have, I would have put a lot of spells on people without intending to do so. As I am growing and evolving, I notice that the astrologers I resonate with and that pop up in my life are shifting to be more joyful, hopeful and soft, while still being very real and grounded. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. ❤🙂🌛 I started with a deck called The Mythical Tarot and though it's a beautiful deck and I enjoy using it, it was a difficult deck to use as a beginning when I was 15 and had no idea what I was doing just yet. Now at 39 it's a wonderful experience to use those cards and to read the mythos attached to each archetype/being. Highly recommend that deck if you are more intermediate to advanced. I had a situation in my life where I was going to have to let go of someone in my life because the friendship was becoming toxic and that was definitely being reflected in the personal readings I began doing. I just didn't want to see it but in the end it was best for me and for my relationship at the time. It gives me comfort to find a bit of magic in things, whether that's just my perception or if there's something larger at play. Which I think there is. Truly believe we are all connected and on this journey together at this time. It's been a rough time for a lot of people and I remind myself when I'm feeling hurt or lonely or scared that we aren't alone, and that in the end we will be ok. I only became interested in both astrology and tarot some time last year after a friend introduced me to your channel, specifically because of this approach! I'd had curiosities, but I hadn't come across someone who does readings (or any kind of content) which approached them in a more fluid, creative and growth-orientated manner. I couldn't help but cringe through the videos which exclaim 'imminent suffering ahead! You won't be able to cope! Someone will hurt you!'. They all felt super counter productive (and for me, quite tied to a culture of click-bait titles, fear-driven motives and over-simplified meme-culture views of astrology). I think your integration of healing journeys along with the symbolism of these tools feels much closer to the power of their potential - as you said, to use them for reflection and joy and feelings of divine support. So, thank you for your wonderful content, and if anyone has any recommendations for other creators who take a more fluid and growth-orientated approach to tarot and astrology, please share! I also really enjoy Mystic Witch Tarot, for anyone looking for warm souls and intricate readings.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts - I wish this was something more tarot readers/astrologers/light workers would do. I also have studied and used astrology and tarot for a long time, and like you said at first it was "what are the rules", "am I doing it right", etc. I was doing tarot readings for myself (I haven't ever done public readings), but now I only pull cards when I feel the need to - sometimes the images on the cards and the actual physical presence of a "thing" can help me ground and understand the intuitive/psychic messages I am receiving. I also like what you said about using these tools in a more creative, fun way. Recently I have been feeling that this is actually the way we should be moving towards, where it isn't about the rules and strict meanings but rather understanding who we are now so that we can get better ideas on how to move forward and explore other energies, ways of being, etc. I am intuitively feeling that our souls chose to incarnate as a specific "sign" or personality type so that we could then take the strengths of that archetype and build up layers to add to our physical beings on this Earth. Am also definitely feeling a shift in the next few years of how we define spirituality and finding ways to honor that in our lives - maybe even ways we haven't thought of yet!

Thank you for sharing! We do all have different connectiveness with Tarot. I love that light hearted flow that you're talking about. I personally draw cards about once every few months. I put a lot of energy into it and it's almost always right on! If I draw cards and don't put my energy fully into it, I get mixed messages. It's like being really clear when manifesting something. You don't want mixed results!

Thank you for starting this conversation. I have definitely felt the please-give-me-the-answer-I-want energy in the past around Tarot and Astrology, usually when I was in a place of powerlessness or just un-centered. Now I like to approach Astrology somewhat like the weather--these energies are around and I can take them into account as I move through my life. The choice is always mine. With Tarot, I love the symbolism and creativity of different decks, and I resonate differently with specific ones. I don't often do readings for myself, and I try to make sure I am in a grounded, centered space and approach Tarot with an open heart so I can hear any messages coming through. It is all very much a work in progress, and definitely worth the effort.
That's so funny that you mentioned tarot and old boyfriends... I remember with my last serious boyfriend doing several tarot readings and they all came out that it just wasn't going to happen, and they were right! I do readings for myself a few times a month and I'm always blown away by the results. I've gotten such good guidance about life decisions that I actually check with tarot before moving forward with anything big. And I have been enlightened by your channel and how you can take things that might have previously seemed like negative cards and show the brighter side of them, I think 5 of swords being one example. As for suggestions... I've been going deeper with astrology lately too and would love to know more about how houses and nodes and what those mean, and looking at things further out in the future. I use the symbols in my life when I need to open myself to perspectives that are not part of my usual thinking habits, for inspiation, and to stimulate or realign my motivations and actions with something that is both logical and magical. The magic and mystery is there and it is similar to my work in drawing and painting. The more I try to control all the elements the more I fail to achieve my potential. And the more I embrace the mystery and intangible enery to make connection to the imagery that feels right the more I achieve satisfying results and make progress. It's all intertwined. personally at the moment, i feel more joy & creativity when I use oracle cards instead of tarot cards. they’re more fun to me and easier to play around. I think I take tarot a bit too seriously and that’s where the joy gets taken out for me! as for astrology, I love it so much because we all have every sign within us. Traditionally we’re meant to focus on our natal placements & planets, but i’ve been having a lot of fun lately just working with each sign as they come, where they show up in my chart even if I don’t have any planets in them. It’s been fun exploring those parts of myself that I may have skimmed past because I was too busy focused on my sun, moon, rising, etc.. I still have to be cautious to not take astrology too seriously as well. I have to allow myself to explore and see where it takes me & what it shows me without forcing myself into a box.
Loving your coffee chats. I like to be encouraged, and assisted to focus on the upcoming week by a few tarot channels and astrology channels, though I have watched many to see if theres a connection for me. And have watched many i didnt want to (only this year) in order to get the "tea" about who is whispering in my ear and sending less than love-filled vibes my way Hahaha...it didnt work out well, probably just made it worse. But thought I would say this out loud here, because the last time I commented on a video here, some stalker thought it was an invitation to test wether or not i would be "connecting without being hijacked" ...shortly after, my phone was hacked ...again. and the psychic attacks started...again. Wasnt 2020 the worst and best medicine we all needed? Lol...i can laugh now. 😆🤙 I also find it interesting how the algorithm works on social media. It will go months at a time and only show me the channels I follow and maybe suggest some that are similar. Other times, its all click bait and drama. I used to think that was all my "fault" somehow...im a very kumbaya kinda gal, and long ago i accepted my naivete as a choice. I choose to be open and accepting of people. I do have boundaries, however, I will always welcome people openly at first...i definately pay the price for that sometimes. But how rewarded have I been a thousand times more often for having treated people that way...im a drop and that creates a ripple, you get the idea (cliché, I know). And rewarded inadvertantly, because how many lives have I touched and maybe affected in a warm way because I choose to stay open? I will never know, and some of those people will never even know. But it it affects change none the less and returns to me in ways I dont even comprehend. Thats how i live my 3d non internet life, I find it difficult to translate that to the internet somehow. At the beginning of 2021, i felt like my naiveté was some terrible thing that i had to "fix" and that if i didnt "fix" it i deserved every bad and terrible trick that came my way as my karma for being dumb somehow. I stopped subscribing to that idea, however, and while I still find myself bamboozled, Im all done blaming myself for shifty people's actions. How great is it that there is a psychic/tarot/spiritual community at the tips of our fingers? Like, how lucky are we??? Im 46 and relatively isolated in a cornfield community lol...i find more and more young people who share my interests these days. It makes me wonder about algorithms even more. What decides what channels we see? What decides who we connect with on here? Is it all fate? Our guides showing us? AI based on our online activity...so our data? So, how wonderful that we have this opportunity for community and a marketplace for all things tarot/astrology/spirituality, but also, how heavy a responsibility, how potentially dangerous? These are things I ponder. Its been an interesting week and a half for me. I appreciate the gentle way you give a message. I hope this doesnt cause you any trouble. I really enjoy you taking the time to share with us. I see my life in colors and adjectives. Over the past 35 years ( I am choosing that number to demonstrate the big picture) My life trajectory has had very dramatic ups and downs. I have learned a great deal and by no means are attempting to stop learning nor moving but I feel the urge to stretch and to make my expenditure of energy more legato, smoother, stronger, safer, and brighter. I am a Sag with Gemini ascendant and Pisces moon. I have always gone for the shinny object with sharp edges thinking i could round the edges and make situations work. As I have worked through the past 35 years I have determined that the exact shade of my goal is less important (the back drop and lighting are ever changing based on mood and situations outside our control) rather the shape and texture is where I need to start anything. Is it heavy and smooth or light and airy .....basically what do I want and need to make me feel stronger and have a more solid base. Because a smooth base can be built into a smooth structure whereas a scratchy piece can be filed at a later date but it seems to cause cracks in the foundation. I finally have a plan for my future (go back to school), know how to accomplish this (through my employment), and self care (exercise consistently) and some goals after that I am interested in why the past 35 years have been so difficult for sags. I believe it is more than simply maturing. So, I am requesting a discussion about a big picture of what we are coming out of for each sign. Maybe something like "sag has been run down because of this aspect over this time frame now it has moved to this aspect for the next 10 years so there should more of a concentration on ..... " I understand everyone is on there own path but a general reason why this time is different. Different because we were working on....and now we will be working (big picture concepts). Just a suggestion to mull over 😃

We were together while I was in college. He still lives here in Minnesota and is a wonderful family friend now. His parents are like my parents in Sweden and my parents are like his parents in Minnesota. I also have other relatives in Sweden who I adore. Sweden is my happy place! I don’t know if you’re the same way, but with tarot I have pretty strict ethics. I will not read other people’s energy unless their energy is having an impact on me, and even when another person wants me to read on someone they know I can see the other person who’s not around’s energy, I will bring the reading back to them and what they can do to regain their own sense of empowerment regardless of the other person... If it’s not directly impacting me (or a child that is under their care) I don’t want to know, what you see can be a lens and it’s so important to keep that in check. Also with astrology, I will not look up someone’s chart specifics unless I get to know them first; for the same reason that what you see can be a lens that impacts objectivity... after I know a person and see their chart it can give insight into why they do some of the things they do 😊 Astrology really helped me see the value in differences and our own personal “quirks”... being raised Christian it’s sometimes like we are taught we need to be exactly like Jesus in personality to be of value; astrology changed all that for me. Now I don’t see differences as bad, but as valuable tools that give some of us advantages that others just don’t have as much. 😎 I’d love to hear a video more on ethics and I am completely aligned with the necessity to read positively and not negatively... To seek the truth with love. 💗🙏💗
I am with you, Tessa. I don't read people unless they have asked and we have agreed to work together and I try never to do readings about other people. And I definitely don't lean on astrology when first meeting someone. That's for more fun deep digging later on, if appropriate.
I’m designing a non gendered, classless (not kings queens etc) sort of anti capitalist tarot deck right now, its such a huge project idk what ive gotten myself into but my soul is on fire for it! It’s how i need to make self of the world (macro) and myself (micro) Trying to honor traditional (im Capricorn sun) but with all the necessary changes needed to be relevant in the new world ( im Aries moon, Pisces rising, Venus aqua mercury sag lmao) I feel this is right in line with how i am feeling and the energies that are inspiring me like Uranus in Taurus and Scorpio season cant wait for the full moon in Taurus its going to kick my ass im sure lol

Hey Sarah, im very into tarot, i always watch tarot videos for my star sign (leo) same as you I have a set of cards myself, but i wont do readings for close friends or family, and i wont let close friends or family read tarot for me, because i feel i know too much about the people, and they know too much about me to do past readings, present readings or predictions, i prefer doing readings for perfect strangers, as it feels more naturally intuitive My readings are always text written messages, i feel its easier to pour my intuition onto paper so to speak rather than on a video I have been watching your tarot videos for a few years now, i did watch the practical witch too, but she stopped doing weekly/monthly readings, and started doing all pick a card readinfs, which lost her connection with me, It didnt feel the same anymore, i felt alienated Your a leo too, so you will probably know exactly what i mean, im a creature of habit, i always search for leo tarot, the month and the year, and for someone to have been doing those videos, then stop, it felt wrong, which is why i stopped watching her channel and focussed more on yours Another thing is, i have not, and will not learn what each card in the tarot deck means, because that would feel more robotic to me, i prefer seeing a card thats been selected, and just getting a feeling, and almost having what im saying narrated to me, or snippets of information given to me that i stitch together That way, the same card has different feelings and meanings to me in different readings, sometimes i feel i dont need the cards, i feel i could give someone a reading without cards or any other instrument, but the cards allow me to lose focus on the real world by staring at them, and just open the back of my mind easier I used to be in fouch with my spiritual side without wanting to be when i was a child, i have a very dark past, full of seeing ghosts, hearing voices, being physically attacked in my sleep, even levitating, yes, i woke up floating above my bed one time To answer your question about how i connect, i see peoples faces and get a feeling, i can look at someone and have visions, feelings, gut insticts In you, i feel like you have seen or experienced similar encounters to me in your younger days, i may be wrong, but im usually not, sorry for being big headed You also mentioned being bullied? I was bullied for being different at school, i stood out even when i wasnt trying to, its like there is some kind of aura around me that drags people towards me, and that drag brings positive and negative people into my life with equal shares, but its very intense, there seems to be little central ground, its either one extreme or the other I cant connect with the people who just show the cards, i need to be able to see their faces when there doing readings, because its like im not looking at the person, im looking more at their soul Russell from the UK
I find myself constantly doubting why astrology and tarot seems to work. I am a true agnostic and have hobbies like astronomy and other sciences. I am also a social worker by profession so "this is the way you are and you just have to live your life like this forever" does not sit well with the universal ethics of social work that are creating hope and instigating positive change. I have come to the conclusion that this is synchonicity, somehow we as a human race somehow make things true with our collective subconcious. So it IS actually US that make things happen, not for example the actual planet Mars. And if it is us that somehow create it, we have the power to change it. We are ALLOWED to change astrology and tarot if it is not working for us. I find it really comforting, not the least because I happen to have a very challenging and "difficult" chart. And I do concur, astrology seems to somehow point out the points of origins, my core wounds that I need to address. But it does not know what I can become and how I will grow.
Sarah, with a re-parenting/self-parenting theme being VERY relevant these last couple of years, you have been EXACTLY what i (and probably many others) needed. I didn’t have any of the gentleness that you possess, growing up. Having you “by my side” so to speak, as I learned how to treat myself with more nurturing behavior and ease through all the self, motherhood, career, and relationship growth that has changed SO much recently. I relate to you so much too, I think, because I’m a Leo sun with Taurus moon. I’m not a traditional thinker either. You gave me “permission” to be me. You reminded me what I possessed. At the end of it all, I am so glad to have come across you and will gladly support you until I can’t anymore! I hope you access that same nurturing for yourself that you so easily share with us. I use astrology as my spiritual monkey bars to propel me forward and keep me moving. I love the framework of the evolving relationships and aspects within the cycles of the planets through the signs. I can subjectively attach the main themes of my life at the time to the measurable movements in the sky. There's a rhythm and a musicality to the cycles and the movements. There are things to look forward to, and support for giving myself a break when things are intense and challenging. The tarot adds another layer of connecting to the archetypes expressed by the planets. I can use all of the imagery in service to what my heart needs for its healing, and for the motivation and inspiration that the stories can provide. I appreciate you opening this discussion.

My thoughts: when we start our journey into understanding our true selves, most of start from a place of confusion and yearning for answers to help us understand who and why we are. It only makes sense that as you grow and change your practice should grow and change. If we have become more aware and open to the universe, then why wouldn't our way of interpreting and sharing change. Every practice is different because as humans we too are different from each other. Our experience and our path is not the same. The way one person interprets is different from the other. Be confident in who you are and who you want to be, and the world falls into place with ease. If you are to busy asking questions you may never find the answers you're looking for.

I found so much resonance in this chat! After a long break from both astrology and tarot, I've found that my relationship with both has evolved and healed in some really interesting ways.
I think if I had to put my finger on the shift I've experienced with tarot and why I'm having so much better of a time with it now, it's that I no longer look up interpretations and I pull much more infrequently and usually from a more general and curious place.
Astrology has been similar in a lot of ways. I still love it a lot, but many of the prevailing themes and interpretations just don't resonate anymore. As my own understanding of the mechanics of this existence expand it also becomes more challenging to accommodate old modalities of thought that seem illusory now.
This talk reminded me of the importance of beginner's mind. When I was first voraciously learning all I could about astrology and my birth-chart, there were so many times when I'd be wrestling with the complexities of someone's energetic signature and things would start to blend and blur. Those moments of illumination were always the most enjoyable for me, and there's still nothing quite like a juicy transit at a spooky moment in life.
Anyway, here's to exploring the fluidity of our archetypes in the new age!

I love this! I can relate so much. I feel like for so long my “I need to figure it out” part was eager (and this still gets the best of me every once in a while) to stare at my chart and find reasons to feel concerned or anxious. And the reasons would always be there! So exhausting! I am still working on releasing a lot of fear based programming, and your posts are helping to reframe things for me. I recently also finally had a reading from someone that felt so affirming and shined light on the gifts, opportunities and wisdom that were on offer as I live with certain looooong term transits in my chart that had me previously freaked out. I believe there is a part in my chart that someone once interpreted in a book to say “do not use astrology to work with people”. I can appreciate that me doing so from the mindset I used to have, I would have put a lot of spells on people without intending to do so. As I am growing and evolving, I notice that the astrologers I resonate with and that pop up in my life are shifting to be more joyful, hopeful and soft, while still being very real and grounded. I started with a deck called The Mythical Tarot and though it's a beautiful deck and I enjoy using it, it was a difficult deck to use as a beginning when I was 15 and had no idea what I was doing just yet. Now at 39 it's a wonderful experience to use those cards and to read the mythos attached to each archetype/being. Highly recommend that deck if you are more intermediate to advanced.
I had a situation in my life where I was going to have to let go of someone in my life because the friendship was becoming toxic and that was definitely being reflected in the personal readings I began doing. I just didn't want to see it but in the end it was best for me and for my relationship at the time. It gives me comfort to find a bit of magic in things, whether that's just my perception or if there's something larger at play. Which I think there is.
Truly believe we are all connected and on this journey together at this time. It's been a rough time for a lot of people and I remind myself when I'm feeling hurt or lonely or scared that we aren't alone, and that in the end we will be ok.

I only became interested in both astrology and tarot some time last year after a friend introduced me to your channel, specifically because of this approach! I'd had curiosities, but I hadn't come across someone who does readings (or any kind of content) which approached them in a more fluid, creative and growth-orientated manner.
I couldn't help but cringe through the videos which exclaim 'imminent suffering ahead! You won't be able to cope! Someone will hurt you!'. They all felt super counter productive (and for me, quite tied to a culture of click-bait titles, fear-driven motives and over-simplified meme-culture views of astrology). I think your integration of healing journeys along with the symbolism of these tools feels much closer to the power of their potential - as you said, to use them for reflection and joy and feelings of divine support.
So, thank you for your wonderful content, and if anyone has any recommendations for other creators who take a more fluid and growth-orientated approach to tarot and astrology, please share! I also really enjoy Mystic Witch Tarot, for anyone looking for warm souls and intricate readings.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts - I wish this was something more tarot readers/astrologers/light workers would do. I also have studied and used astrology and tarot for a long time, and like you said at first it was "what are the rules", "am I doing it right", etc. I was doing tarot readings for myself (I haven't ever done public readings), but now I only pull cards when I feel the need to - sometimes the images on the cards and the actual physical presence of a "thing" can help me ground and understand the intuitive/psychic messages I am receiving.
I also like what you said about using these tools in a more creative, fun way. Recently I have been feeling that this is actually the way we should be moving towards, where it isn't about the rules and strict meanings but rather understanding who we are now so that we can get better ideas on how to move forward and explore other energies, ways of being, etc. I am intuitively feeling that our souls chose to incarnate as a specific "sign" or personality type so that we could then take the strengths of that archetype and build up layers to add to our physical beings on this Earth. Am also definitely feeling a shift in the next few years of how we define spirituality and finding ways to honor that in our lives - maybe even ways we haven't thought of yet!

I personally draw cards about once every few months. I put a lot of energy into it and it's almost always right on! If I draw cards and don't put my energy fully into it, I get mixed messages. It's like being really clear when manifesting something. You don't want mixed results!

Personally I'm a big fan of astrology under the “light and shadow” perspective, where the goal is always to work with and incorporate more of the energy of the opposite and complementary signs of those that we have in predominance in our birth chart. Thank you for starting this conversation. I have definitely felt the please-give-me-the-answer-I-want energy in the past around Tarot and Astrology, usually when I was in a place of powerlessness or just un-centered. Now I like to approach Astrology somewhat like the weather--these energies are around and I can take them into account as I move through my life. The choice is always mine. With Tarot, I love the symbolism and creativity of different decks, and I resonate differently with specific ones. I don't often do readings for myself, and I try to make sure I am in a grounded, centered space and approach Tarot with an open heart so I can hear any messages coming through. It is all very much a work in progress, and definitely worth the effort.

That's so funny that you mentioned tarot and old boyfriends... I remember with my last serious boyfriend doing several tarot readings and they all came out that it just wasn't going to happen, and they were right! I do readings for myself a few times a month and I'm always blown away by the results. I've gotten such good guidance about life decisions that I actually check with tarot before moving forward with anything big. And I have been enlightened by your channel and how you can take things that might have previously seemed like negative cards and show the brighter side of them, I think 5 of swords being one example.
As for suggestions... I've been going deeper with astrology lately too and would love to know more about how houses and nodes and what those mean, and looking at things further out in the future.

I feel simpatico with your philosophy - that theses are tools, astrology and tarot, like other tools that help us meditate and navigate through life in a creative way.
I use the symbols in my life when I need to open myself to perspectives that are not part of my usual thinking habits, for inspiation, and to stimulate or realign my motivations and actions with something that is both logical and magical.
The magic and mystery is there and it is similar to my work in drawing and painting. The more I try to control all the elements the more I fail to achieve my potential. And the more I embrace the mystery and intangible enery to make connection to the imagery that feels right the more I achieve satisfying results and make progress. It's all intertwined.
I have learned so much from your soft and gentle approach. You are one of my favorite inspirations in tarot. Thank you for always following your heart ❤
personally at the moment, i feel more joy & creativity when I use oracle cards instead of tarot cards. they’re more fun to me and easier to play around. I think I take tarot a bit too seriously and that’s where the joy gets taken out for me! as for astrology, I love it so much because we all have every sign within us. Traditionally we’re meant to focus on our natal placements & planets, but i’ve been having a lot of fun lately just working with each sign as they come, where they show up in my chart even if I don’t have any planets in them. It’s been fun exploring those parts of myself that I may have skimmed past because I was too busy focused on my sun, moon, rising, etc.. I still have to be cautious to not take astrology too seriously as well. I have to allow myself to explore and see where it takes me & what it shows me without forcing myself into a box.

I also find it interesting how the algorithm works on social media. It will go months at a time and only show me the channels I follow and maybe suggest some that are similar. Other times, its all click bait and drama. I used to think that was all my "fault" somehow...im a very kumbaya kinda gal, and long ago i accepted my naivete as a choice. I choose to be open and accepting of people. I do have boundaries, however, I will always welcome people openly at first...i definately pay the price for that sometimes. But how rewarded have I been a thousand times more often for having treated people that way...im a drop and that creates a ripple, you get the idea (cliché, I know). And rewarded inadvertantly, because how many lives have I touched and maybe affected in a warm way because I choose to stay open? I will never know, and some of those people will never even know. But it it affects change none the less and returns to me in ways I dont even comprehend. Thats how i live my 3d non internet life, I find it difficult to translate that to the internet somehow.
At the beginning of 2021, i felt like my naiveté was some terrible thing that i had to "fix" and that if i didnt "fix" it i deserved every bad and terrible trick that came my way as my karma for being dumb somehow. I stopped subscribing to that idea, however, and while I still find myself bamboozled, Im all done blaming myself for shifty people's actions.
How great is it that there is a psychic/tarot/spiritual community at the tips of our fingers? Like, how lucky are we??? Im 46 and relatively isolated in a cornfield community lol...i find more and more young people who share my interests these days. It makes me wonder about algorithms even more. What decides what channels we see? What decides who we connect with on here? Is it all fate? Our guides showing us? AI based on our online activity...so our data? So, how wonderful that we have this opportunity for community and a marketplace for all things tarot/astrology/spirituality, but also, how heavy a responsibility, how potentially dangerous?

I really enjoy you taking the time to share with us. I see my life in colors and adjectives. Over the past 35 years ( I am choosing that number to demonstrate the big picture) My life trajectory has had very dramatic ups and downs. I have learned a great deal and by no means are attempting to stop learning nor moving but I feel the urge to stretch and to make my expenditure of energy more legato, smoother, stronger, safer, and brighter. I am a Sag with Gemini ascendant and Pisces moon. I have always gone for the shinny object with sharp edges thinking i could round the edges and make situations work. As I have worked through the past 35 years I have determined that the exact shade of my goal is less important (the back drop and lighting are ever changing based on mood and situations outside our control) rather the shape and texture is where I need to start anything. Is it heavy and smooth or light and airy .....basically what do I want and need to make me feel stronger and have a more solid base. Because a smooth base can be built into a smooth structure whereas a scratchy piece can be filed at a later date but it seems to cause cracks in the foundation.
I finally have a plan for my future (go back to school), know how to accomplish this (through my employment), and self care (exercise consistently) and some goals after that I am interested in why the past 35 years have been so difficult for sags. I believe it is more than simply maturing. So, I am requesting a discussion about a big picture of what we are coming out of for each sign. Maybe something like "sag has been run down because of this aspect over this time frame now it has moved to this aspect for the next 10 years so there should more of a concentration on ..... " I understand everyone is on there own path but a general reason why this time is different. Different because we were working on....and now we will be working (big picture concepts).

I’ve lived there in the past for a year and two summers and eloped with a lovely Swedish man when I lived there and went to a folk art school there with him, at age 19. We were together while I was in college. He still lives here in Minnesota and is a wonderful family friend now. His parents are like my parents in Sweden and my parents are like his parents in Minnesota. I also have other relatives in Sweden who I adore. Sweden is my happy place! I can’t wait to go back and visit!
My dream is that you would have some sort of event or workshop or retreat where I could come and connect with you in person there!

I don’t know if you’re the same way, but with tarot I have pretty strict ethics. I will not read other people’s energy unless their energy is having an impact on me, and even when another person wants me to read on someone they know I can see the other person who’s not around’s energy, I will bring the reading back to them and what they can do to regain their own sense of empowerment regardless of the other person...
If it’s not directly impacting me (or a child that is under their care) I don’t want to know, what you see can be a lens and it’s so important to keep that in check.
Also with astrology, I will not look up someone’s chart specifics unless I get to know them first; for the same reason that what you see can be a lens that impacts objectivity... after I know a person and see their chart it can give insight into why they do some of the things they do 😊
Astrology really helped me see the value in differences and our own personal “quirks”... being raised Christian it’s sometimes like we are taught we need to be exactly like Jesus in personality to be of value; astrology changed all that for me. Now I don’t see differences as bad, but as valuable tools that give some of us advantages that others just don’t have as much. 😎

I am with you, Tessa. I don't read people unless they have asked and we have agreed to work together and I try never to do readings about other people. And I definitely don't lean on astrology when first meeting someone. That's for more fun deep digging later on, if appropriate.

I’m designing a non gendered, classless (not kings queens etc) sort of anti capitalist tarot deck right now, its such a huge project idk what ive gotten myself into but my soul is on fire for it! It’s how i need to make self of the world (macro) and myself (micro) Trying to honor traditional (im Capricorn sun) but with all the necessary changes needed to be relevant in the new world ( im Aries moon, Pisces rising, Venus aqua mercury sag lmao) I feel this is right in line with how i am feeling and the energies that are inspiring me like Uranus in Taurus and Scorpio season cant wait for the full moon in Taurus its going to kick my ass im sure lol

I have a set of cards myself, but i wont do readings for close friends or family, and i wont let close friends or family read tarot for me, because i feel i know too much about the people, and they know too much about me to do past readings, present readings or predictions, i prefer doing readings for perfect strangers, as it feels more naturally intuitive
My readings are always text written messages, i feel its easier to pour my intuition onto paper so to speak rather than on a video
I have been watching your tarot videos for a few years now, i did watch the practical witch too, but she stopped doing weekly/monthly readings, and started doing all pick a card readinfs, which lost her connection with me, It didnt feel the same anymore, i felt alienated
Your a leo too, so you will probably know exactly what i mean, im a creature of habit, i always search for leo tarot, the month and the year, and for someone to have been doing those videos, then stop, it felt wrong, which is why i stopped watching her channel and focussed more on yours
Another thing is, i have not, and will not learn what each card in the tarot deck means, because that would feel more robotic to me, i prefer seeing a card thats been selected, and just getting a feeling, and almost having what im saying narrated to me, or snippets of information given to me that i stitch together
That way, the same card has different feelings and meanings to me in different readings, sometimes i feel i dont need the cards, i feel i could give someone a reading without cards or any other instrument, but the cards allow me to lose focus on the real world by staring at them, and just open the back of my mind easier
I used to be in fouch with my spiritual side without wanting to be when i was a child, i have a very dark past, full of seeing ghosts, hearing voices, being physically attacked in my sleep, even levitating, yes, i woke up floating above my bed one time
To answer your question about how i connect, i see peoples faces and get a feeling, i can look at someone and have visions, feelings, gut insticts
In you, i feel like you have seen or experienced similar encounters to me in your younger days, i may be wrong, but im usually not, sorry for being big headed
You also mentioned being bullied? I was bullied for being different at school, i stood out even when i wasnt trying to, its like there is some kind of aura around me that drags people towards me, and that drag brings positive and negative people into my life with equal shares, but its very intense, there seems to be little central ground, its either one extreme or the other
I cant connect with the people who just show the cards, i need to be able to see their faces when there doing readings, because its like im not looking at the person, im looking more at their soul

I find myself constantly doubting why astrology and tarot seems to work. I am a true agnostic and have hobbies like astronomy and other sciences. I am also a social worker by profession so "this is the way you are and you just have to live your life like this forever" does not sit well with the universal ethics of social work that are creating hope and instigating positive change.
I have come to the conclusion that this is synchonicity, somehow we as a human race somehow make things true with our collective subconcious. So it IS actually US that make things happen, not for example the actual planet Mars. And if it is us that somehow create it, we have the power to change it. We are ALLOWED to change astrology and tarot if it is not working for us. I find it really comforting, not the least because I happen to have a very challenging and "difficult" chart. And I do concur, astrology seems to somehow point out the points of origins, my core wounds that I need to address. But it does not know what I can become and how I will grow.
