      @@DovganDance Yeah, I do think it's impossible to make something that everyone will like, and not every teacher is for every student. But that's okay. I think being consistent with your approach will attract the audience you're meant to reach. :)

    With the correct arm styling, what about the hold, what is the right arm tension?

      It’s different for every couple. I know that youth and amateurs usual prefer pretty strong connection, a lot of professionals and retired dancers like to have light connection. Personally I prefer light connection if it’s not ruining the feeling of each other. If you are disconnecting in the body then maybe it’s better to increase tension in frame little bit. That partner can understand limits of the frame extension and also your leading.
