Yes it's completely racist, period - When one earns it by preforming, inventing and constructing it then proves it by controlling behaviors and working and saving for the future for years and generations then you're worthy, not by demanding it, that'll not happen
If you listen to Jerome's explanation of inclusion, you realize that it is impossible. When you look at his definition of equity, you realize that achieving equity is not only improbable but, in most cases, detrimental.
@vibingwithchill676 Equality is equal opportunity. Equity is an equal outcome. So let's say you and I are two musical artists signed to the same label. We both have an equal opportunity because we are using the same studio, with the same engineers and the same producers and the same gear. Let's say that you are way more creative than me. You produce a better product. The public is way more interested in your music. You are bringing in more money. In an equitable environment, you and I will get paid the same even though your product is superior. That is a detriment to you. It's fine for me because I am reaping the same benefit while producing inferior work. But what is the incentive for you to stay with this label? Why wouldn't you want to leave and sign with a label where you get paid according to the superior quality of your work?
@@thelordofliberty6984 I definitely do not feel like debating, but I’ll engage. First and foremost, does anything he say really take away from equality? DEI has worked to solve issues such as pay gaps in minority communities for people doing the same work (equality), access for people with disabilities so that they can have the ability to use their talents in workplaces (equal opportunity), making individuals more comfortable in work settings. Those issues may seem minimal but they are very important. Don’t you think that teaching inclusivity and love for each other’s uniqueness and culture helps us truly reach equality?
@@thelordofliberty6984 As for your example, I’m assuming you are relating this to admissions and hiring. We have to think about the purpose: the effort to diversify was because of the lack of opportunities in minority communities. Believe it or not, minorities have more of a struggle to get hired, achieve equal pay, find housing, and feel comfortable in work settings. You can ignore it, but they can’t. So, equal opportunity takes a little bit of work.
@vibingwithchill676 If you didn't feel like debating, you probably should not have responded to my post. You brought this to me. I didn't bring it to you. Everything you mentioned is positive. Like equal pay for equal work. Equal access and so on. These are things that have to do with equality. None of these things have to do with equity. Equity and equality are two completely different things. Equality is starting from the same place. Equity is starting from the same place and finishing at the same place, regardless of differences in drive, talent, intelligence, know how or creativity
In theory this is what DEI strives to be. In practice though it becomes a piece of shit with many problems, such as corporations using DEI for profit, not to actually benefit minorities. This is why I hate DEI.
It becomes a problem when segregationist and confederates with no intention of hiring diversity implement the policies Most of the people spouting they had DEI training in the comments never went to a DEI training. They are bots with copy paste scripts that show up in some hilarious spots. Good way to know who has been buying views and taunting their comment sections.
..and what profit? It's literally apart of their human resources. They would have already been doing diversity training because of the constitutional ammendment policies=discrimination is illegal.

DEI is NOT a necessity. TV shows, Movies and Videogames are designed to target *_specific_* audiences and when you force them to appeal to the general public, they lose meaning. When entertainment is made for everybody, it speaks to nobody.
However Trump is doing away with DEI. How is this good. I wonder when you go into a store to buy something will we be able to buy it. This is terrible to exit DEI
I hate to say it, but that promise kind of sounds like one of false hope to me. If this is where the bar level starts or is set for everything in life. How do we know if we have the best person(s) for the job and opportunities in life? In order to respect "DEI" Ideology are you suggesting that compromises should be made to hire someone for the position of a CEO? i.e. Do people need to apply DEI metrics foremost over one's qualifications for the role? This what I am confused about DEI.
WAAAAHH. I may have to change my ways of looking at things. WAAAHHH. Accept change with the times or piss off! Worse, it instills a sense of unearned entitlement in those who “Didn’t Earn It.” It is a cancer metastasizing through the ranks of work forces given grave responsibilities, and it spreads to the point where no one in an organization has the work ethic or skill to change a light bulb. As bad as DEI is, what’s worse is the political class that initiates DEI policies
DEI is inherently racist.
