I just got to say with each video it keeps getting better. I’d say looking over the brakes wouldn’t be a bad idea or a waste of time but like your stepdad said a lot of the older vehicles did have what he described as sharing a tube thing but I could be mistaken though but that could be the only issue for you right there. And what you did with your nephew right there is teaching him life lessons that he’ll be able to build upon through his life and good on you for it. Looking forward to the next one. 👍
Clutch cross over shaft runs through brake pivot tube hac nylon bushings yours might just need clean and lube.lots of videos on utube such as clutch heim joint repair.good luck
While you're at it you should replace the hood cowl seal too. Forums have some stories of hydrolocked engines after a hard rain from water finding its way into the bay due to a bad seal and then through the hole for the air intake manifold bolt. At around $60-80, it's a no-brainer.
Check your rubber grommet that holds your vacuum tube to the brake booster. Mine cracked on my 90 f250 and i lost all vacuum and all brakes, Lol. Changed it out with a good one and the brakes were fixed
Im starting my 6.9 bullnose journey, thanks for the encouragement
You’ve got to love the way that old IH diesel engine sounds . Thanks for the video. American Iron all the way!
Old idid all sound like that Chevy's 6.2/6.5 also chatter

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you think that would also cause the brakes to drag? Will definitely add it to the list
You should’ve taken advantage of your whole family being present and just done a complete drivetrain swap or repair❤
Haha! We gotta just get this thing functioning right before diving into drivetrain 👍 thanks for watching, stay tuned!
I just got one for $600 . Hoping it just needs a new oil cooler 🤞🏼
Score! Good luck… this thing is proving to have some issues… stay tuned 👍
Just got the oil cooler off since there was oil in coolant. Hopefully the oil cooler is the reason why 🙏🏻
You got all the stuff I want. Lol
Great minds think alike 🤙 thanks for tuning in
I love the old man’s commentary, it’s exactly what you expect just organic BS that you would hear
Gotta give him credit! Thanks for watching 👍 stay tuned!
