This walk through Tehran’s southern neighbourhood really reminded me of growing up in 1980’s Birmingham, England. My family lived in Handsworth, Birmingham it was very similar in the shopping area. Many of my friends and neighbours were Muslim although my family are typical white British and non religious, it was a great place to live, real community and friendly even though we were very close to the heart of the city.
Very lovely people… I hope the Iranian people understand we, the American people love them… and won’t equate us with the government here… we need peace, love, harmony, and God’s love in the world..💙♥️
I'm originally from Iran, and I lived in Tehran for most of my adult life. The streets in the video are from the old part of Tehran, a place I've never had the chance to visit. Access to this area is restricted for personal cars due to air pollution, so the only way to get there is by taking a taxi or the metro. Thank you for showcasing a different perspective of my city that many people never get to experience.
Как приятно видеть на людях яркую, красивую одежду. И даже эти цветные платки прекрасны! Но и с непокрытой головой женщины встречаются, и никто их не преследует. Люблю Иран!
Several women without hijab, which would be their private choice and should be respected by any government. Religion breaks more than it heals, unfortunately. Lovely video, showing real people and real life!
When the use of the hijab is no longer mandatory, and women who wish to do so wear it voluntarily, it can be said that there is true respect for human rights in Iran. Likewise, when they stop persecuting homosexuals and stopping stoning women.
Very beautiful neighbourhood. Vibrant city, modern streets, colourfull shops, lots of different goods, beautifull people, a few women with chador, some only with scarf, some even without. The city has a certain cosmopolitan feel to it A very different picture as to what they are trying to portrait Iran here in the western world. And what I noticed, it is very clean! Thank you for showing us your home land. I love Iran and it's culture. ❤
The economy is not very good and there is a lot of government corruption Internal filtering and external sanctions have worsened the economic situation, but it is not as bad as the media say Now I am using a filter that may show me from another country

40 years of American sanctions and propaganda has only made the Iranian more resilient and stronger. Just look at their vibrant neighbourhoods, beautiful cities, overall cleanliness and infrastructure. Not many people in the West know that the largest shopping mall in the world is also in Tehran. #Bravo
Very good video. Interesting to see how other countries live and see the different stores. Do you have the Camera in the open where people can seei it? I ask since everybody just walks by normal.
What surprises me, more than the fact that Iran are less fanatic and rigid as Western media depicts the country, is that Teheran looks a lot as Mexico City or every mexican city... I guess it is because the islamic influence in Spain during Middle Ages and that influence got here in urbanism, architecture and commerce.
Thank you very much Sir. Looking forward to your videos from poorer areas of the south of Tehran. I heard a little about crime in the city when i visited from a lady who lives in the north. Fascinating. It's nice to be able to see street life as it is with no commentary. My late mother-in-law was born in Shiraz. As a child she remembered it fondly. Maybe you could do some videos from there? I wonder if these very normal people support their fanatical regime and the violence that it exports throughout the region? I don't think so and hope not

I have some questions, sir! Almost all the girls here have a veil or a scarf on their heads, but one-fourth of their hair is sticking out. Iran's moral police arrest for this? I even saw some girls walking with their hair open! In that case? Iran is a very beautiful country, which I saw. But due to political reasons people's living system has become strict.
What impresses me the most is not even seing women without hijabs (western media is always pointing that, the repressive and backwarded iranian guard etc) but, considering this is June, there's no one, man or women wearing shorts or skirts. Considering Iran has hot summers it's incredible what we can see in these streets. They don't like to show skin for any particular reason? Or it's a cultural aspect?
