Thanks for this. I couldn't figure out how to mount to a tripod plate until I watched this and realized I needed to switch which part I attached to the camera. Solved my problem. Thanks. -H
Thanks for your review! Mines was hard to unattach. After seeing your video, it appears that the screws were jamming the quick release. After that adjustment everything is all good now!
It's a good idea but the screw is right next to the battery door so the only way it will open at all is with the Kondor completely removed. Thanks so much for watching:)
Very helpful review, thanks much. I am curious: is there a specific reason why you chose to attach the part with the lever to the camera and the other one to the tripod? I guess I would have mounted them the other way. I just ordered one for a camera setup on a bicycle. Let's see how it works.
Thank you for watching. I wanted to mount the lever side to the tripod but it has a drilled hole not a threaded one and the other plate is threaded so it was easier to attach to the tripod. Hope that makes sense. Hope it works out for you 👍
They were $15 two years ago? They are $25 on Amazon now, and when you add taxes and shipping you end up paying more like $35. Too tiny and way overpriced.

Maybe you can fix the space to take out the battery by rotating the position of the base on the camera ! Thanks for the video very good

Shame they went up. Still use mine and love them.
