I hate the clash blaster too. Anyone who uses it should be ranked down even if they win. It's too op to be allowed. Well snipers are op too I guess, but at least they require skill.
I think I've pinpointed my problem with the Clash. Not only are it's shot incredibly fast for a blaster, it also has a good inking radius. With most blasters, if you get hit once, you can quickly ink behind you and escape. The Clash either kills you before you can turn around or lays down fresh ink trapping you where you stand. That's my problem, it really does feel like if you get hit once, you're as good as dead. (Don't even get me started on it in TC though...)
Whoever uses Clash is absolute filth. Bad players, Only get to X because it's so overpowered. They're not that hard to deal with, But i'm a charger main so they're fucking hell when they flank from behind.

@Oliver Thomas Nah, getting them one after another in a series of like 4-5 seconds is way better. It means they were just grossly outplayed by you, whereas a superjump splashdown is someone else's technique doing its job.
this is more a ink armour tip then a tri slosher tip, but with just a few special power ups, you can not only increase the duration of it, but speed up how quickly it comes online when you activate it, so if your getting splatted when you use it due to it taking to long, invest in some special power up
Investing in gear for specials is IMO worthwhile, but all of that also helps Ink Storm, which is a *great* special. In most matches I'll get off 3-5 Ink Storms with my tri slosher. With Ink Armor, maybe 2-3 -- and if I'm unlucky and get splatted in the initial skirmish before I get Ink Armor off, I'll usually only get 1-2. Morever, while Ink Armor is very powerful when everyone gets it in combat.... that IMO doesn't often happen. A lot of the times Ink Armor is filled, at least one or two players are waiting to respawn, or have respawned but are too far away from combat to make use of it, or you as a player are too far away from other players to read the situation. And as a slosher main, I don't like to be in the situation of having to debate whether to use my special or wait on it for people to respawn/get in combat so I get a good use out of it, especially since sloshers are a fairly high risk/high reward weapon. Meanwhile, Ink Storm is almost always useful -- whether your whole team is there, or you're outnumbered and need to hold the other team back, if you need to make a push or hold ground, or if you're up against someone who's a bad matchup, etc. etc. etc. And there's less worry about trying to make the 'best' use out of it because it's that much easier to refill -- in many ways, it makes sense to try to use Ink Storm early and often. I know many players have a heavy bias towards Ink Armor, but on a trislosher, I'll take Ink Storm any day of the week. (I may feel differently with other weapons, though.)
Isn't an octobrush an easy mode weapon? I used it a lot to climb in ranked and you don't even have to aim, just look towards the person you want to splat and mash zr. It's not very hard...
dankey kang I'm an Octobrush main but no, it is a very bad weapon when you lose stage control. With stage control you can easily maneuver the stage and kill people quickly. It's also good at flanking. However, once the other team has stage control, it's very hard to help your team take it back. It also has short range so like 80% of the weapons outrange it. Easy to pick up, hard to master.
I've been maining Inkbrush long enough to know that nothing about it is OP. Yeah, it swings as fast as an Aerospray can shoot, but you're forced to flank to get any splats. If anyone spots you before you, you have to run, since every weapon in the game that isn't named Sploosh-o-matic outranges you.
Restart personally I use all the blasters and practice aiming for 15 mins a day before playing ranked but with that gun I dont use cause it's easy mode and dont aim it's pretty bullshit

I think Squid Ninja is really good for this weapon since no matter which kit your using, it still an aggressive weapon at the end of the day, so you usually go for kills
Kassandra101 The thing is, while brellas have pump action shotguns as means of offense, the shield focus and long TTK means that they're not full shotguns, niche-wise Sloshers fit the shotgun niche much better, as both weapons are focused on closing in quick and getting fast kills.
And if you're playing co-op and get the Grizzco Brella..... which is an umbrella without the umbrella.... it 100% is a shotgun. And is IMO hands down the funnest weapon in the game. (It's so sad the developers don't let players use modified versions of the grizzco weapons outside of co-op, because they're so much fun.)
Clam Blitz in any rank other than X is like a children’s playground. It’s not easy getting out of these ranks because your team won’t help. Anybody in their right MIND will happily play against Japanese snipers over C- Clam Blitz.
Oh, I just noticed the tri slosher tip part. I use the regular because I was looking for something with tri slosher to help my teammates. So for the gear I have got these three pure. Ink saver sub Runspeed Ink recovery (I didn't look at it Splatoon 1 but now is my favorite ability) So basically I try to be helpful sniping squiddos with my burst bombs and I'm a pretty aggressive tri slosher. The lacks of my stile is that people often (specifically duallies) approach a lot to me that basically they are in my face and most of the times the camera acts weird and I get splatted (not always, happily) But if you use the regular one save your special and use it in these situations. Tower Control: Your team has the tower and the other team is low on people (2 alive should be enough)/Your team is desperated and you throw 4 burst bombs hoping this and your blaster teammates can get a quad. RM: Just to protect the rainmaker, you as a pretty good weapon won't take the rainmaker and will try to beat all the enemy forces who approach (not chargers because they aren't at your range most of the times)/You are gonna rush and splat the rainmaker carrier. Splat zones: There is no particular moment since the offense is always a priority but you can recover the zones activating it and with a bit of luck your teammates will follow. Clam Blitz: Either attack or defense will require your special so use it wisely. And when you break the barrier you have to tactical wait and throw bombs to make them lose time and hopefully damage them enough to splat with one single shot. Your aim is worse than mine if you always play like the "Tier aiming" you got there XD So you have to depend on bombs, right? Don't use sub power up since the range isn't the best thing you can bet on. Ink saver sub is your best ally in those cases and ink recovery helps the spam too. In my case, for 1v1 duels I try to splat using a shot and two burst bombs, risky because if I don't do a direct bomb they can survive and my ink will suffer. In big groups I use the triple tap + 1 or 2 bombs, hopefully you can KO more than 2 guys and the trade will be cool. Swimspeed isn't as cool as you think unless you stack a lot, it's primordial for heavy weapons but for light and regular weapons the difference isn't that big. Runspeed in the other case its better since your movility will increase and you can to many awesome things. Hope my playstile can help you improve your gameplay and remember that the regular tri is an aggressive support and you must use your special wisely and not just for yourself, you have to protect others (and possibly carry) but don't get on the first lines unless the other team is dead. Good Luck
Just a question. I am trying to get good at splatoon 2, and i wonder if ink saver for the subweapon is good to use for the tri slosher noveau, since each use of the splat bombs uses almost all of your ink. Nice video btw and please respond.
laughed hard 5:44, bless. I sadly missed the tri slosher train cause I was too busy using the Jet, but someday I wanna go back for this guy, seeing as I love the rest of the buckets so much T_T
Once I got surrounded by the entire enemy team and I splatted them all with the Tri-Slosher. Pure skill The other team TOTALLY didn’t run out of ink. Totally.
It was broken because the range of the other weapons were reduced, but the range of Tri-Slosher wasn't. So it had a quick kill, and it was the same range as the Splattershot. That's why it domination. As a Splatoon 1 Tri-Slosher main, it made me sad that it got so much negative press. It's environment changed making it less balanced. I'm glad order has been restored. (It was seriously over looked in Splatoon 1.)
I’ve noticed a pattern. Any weapon that has very low range as a downside but high damage and requires little aim for its upsides is almost always hated on by the game’s community. In Splatoon, it’s the Tri-Slosher. In Team Fortress 2, it’s the Pyro’s flamethrower. In Overwatch, it’s Mei’s thermoblaster thing. I wonder why this is exactly...
I love the idea I can fight with a bucket, so I like all sloshers, but the first time I used the Tri slosher in ranked I got over 20 splats in splatzones. So I knew I was on to something special.
I really liked this video (tri slosher main) I like to use short ranged weapons since that's my stile. My original main was splat roller but since rollers are glitchy in general I had to move to something with ink armor (burst bombs are nice too) This weapon is great but has a lot of problems too. You played CB but in other game modes people use other weapons, that's why even if the weapon is great, you are obsolete in both TC and RM since blasters and chargers are the meta on those modes. Also, I was expecting more info about the regular tri XD Anyways, you won a new sub today and I'll proceed to watch other of your "guides"
Caramel Cake true but you did get hate for it even if you can get directs with it that’s one of the many reasons why I dropped it other then the fact it tainted my hands.
I just stopped in to say A decent player on the Sploosh o Matic can rack in kills/splats so quickly. It's got a decent fire rate and range, and the sliding bomb thing allows you to get out into the middle of the map easy. Unfortunately... bad players ruin its rep
Hey dude i dont comment much and i havent even completed the vid yet but.. Props to you for using bravely default music! (It was BD right? Im not imagining things, right?) You got good taste, love your vids~
Nice video, I use the normal tri-slosher. its like a secondary i use, but i main the splattershot pro. However using the trislosher long and as often as i have in splatoon 2, all of what you said is true. BUT i do have one tip you missed on the vanilla tri slosher, you said ink armor takes forever to activate well i found out that special power up can actually help ink armor go through quicker. So i do recommend a little bit of special power up if you have that problem. Also I am an aggressive player with it, I run comback with swim speed and i love to annoy my opponents with burst bombs xD i have gotten some nasty throws with it, so i would also recommend along with comeback and quick respawn, is some special saver, either a main of it or a sub or two in your gear set. I dont run Run Speed unless its a map like Shellendorf then maybe, but i find run speed not useful to my builds.
Ink armor with a little special power up is good, I use max spu on my glasses, max run speed on my shirt and max swim speed on my shoes. It seems to work really well.

i love that you still leave hearts on comments even though this video is two years old
So if the Slosher is a shotgun, the Tri-Slosher is the Super Shotgun of DOOM II fame, right?
Seaside Doe I see the tenta brella more of a shot gun
Kassandra101 The thing is, while brellas have pump action shotguns as means of offense, the shield focus and long TTK means that they're not full shotguns, niche-wise
Sloshers fit the shotgun niche much better, as both weapons are focused on closing in quick and getting fast kills.
Seaside Doe well yeah but if you dont use the shield what so ever, it's pretty much a shotgun
Man, I haven’t watched your videos in a while since your slosher video, I’m glad you’ve grown!
I found my new main thanks to this video. Thanks!
As a tri main I loved this video and everything you said I use the normal one more then the one you use and the xenoblade music was a good choice
that was real good doggo content (as well as the rest of your stuff here) keep it up bro
This video helped reignite my love for this weapon
I don't care about the weapon information, I'm just digging that sweet Bravely Default music 👌👌👌
Man,that Bravely Default OST hits hard.I miss playing it.I should come back to it soon.
This video deserves more attention
I love your voice and your videos. Keep doing those tutorials, they're pretty fun.
Do the Goo Tuber and Tenta Brella next and then do the Explosher and Blobobbler.
Uh... WHY?! The goo tuber trash and the tenta brella trash and anybody can use the bloblobber because it a weapon for bad players.
Ryan Dente, you still need to aim with the bloblobber
Ryan Dente i use it and I can BEAT YOUR ASS!!!
Totallypikatru suddenly tenta brella became high tier.
Some Nerd 100%
1:26 Understandable, have a nice day.
Come for splatoon, stay for Bravely Default music
Nice bravely default music too ;-)
Oh, I just noticed the tri slosher tip part.
I use the regular because I was looking for something with tri slosher to help my teammates.
So for the gear I have got these three pure.
Ink saver sub
Runspeed
Ink recovery (I didn't look at it Splatoon 1 but now is my favorite ability)
So basically I try to be helpful sniping squiddos with my burst bombs and I'm a pretty aggressive tri slosher.
The lacks of my stile is that people often (specifically duallies) approach a lot to me that basically they are in my face and most of the times the camera acts weird and I get splatted (not always, happily)
But if you use the regular one save your special and use it in these situations.
Your aim is worse than mine if you always play like the "Tier aiming" you got there XD
So you have to depend on bombs, right?
Good Luck
I don't know who you are, but you used bravely default music in your video so I have to subscribe.
In Clamblitz that little Platform infront of the basket is the perfekt spot from where you can throw.
I played this weapon at first and didn't really like it, but now, it's probably my favorite weapon.
Although a charger main, I am starting to feel the Tri-Slosher. You may have helped me to get to X rank at-damned-last.
Just a question. I am trying to get good at splatoon 2, and i wonder if ink saver for the subweapon is good to use for the tri slosher noveau, since each use of the splat bombs uses almost all of your ink. Nice video btw and please respond.
yes
I'm glad BD music with Splatoon works as well as it does.
Oh, hey! A video on the Tri-Salter!
Love the "Bravery By Default" Boss OST in the video
Tbh the video is more worth watching for bravely music than the content itself
1:29
Oh yeah, I'm guilty of this big time.
Tri-Slosher tip
Dont
laughed hard 5:44, bless. I sadly missed the tri slosher train cause I was too busy using the Jet, but someday I wanna go back for this guy, seeing as I love the rest of the buckets so much T_T
Once I got surrounded by the entire enemy team and I splatted them all with the Tri-Slosher. Pure skill
The other team TOTALLY didn’t run out of ink. Totally.
you deserve way more subs! these vids are hilarious and convince me to try new weapons!
How dare you compare my beautiful Sploosh-o-matic with.. The..The disgusting clash blaster!!
(It was seriously over looked in Splatoon 1.)
love the videos you deserve 50 million subs
50 million is a bit much, Markiplier doesn’t even have anywhere close to that amount
it just means i enjoyed his vids
I’ve noticed a pattern. Any weapon that has very low range as a downside but high damage and requires little aim for its upsides is almost always hated on by the game’s community.
In Splatoon, it’s the Tri-Slosher.
In Team Fortress 2, it’s the Pyro’s flamethrower.
In Overwatch, it’s Mei’s thermoblaster thing.
I wonder why this is exactly...
"You aren't out of position if you can kill their charger in two clean shots" -squid who died to the enemy charger
Keep up the good work of these vids! Every video just gets better and better! Could you do the OG splattershot and splattershot jr?
1:30
...
*sweats nervously*
I love the idea I can fight with a bucket, so I like all sloshers, but the first time I used the Tri slosher in ranked I got over 20 splats in splatzones. So I knew I was on to something special.
I really liked this video (tri slosher main)
I like to use short ranged weapons since that's my stile.
My original main was splat roller but since rollers are glitchy in general I had to move to something with ink armor (burst bombs are nice too)
This weapon is great but has a lot of problems too. You played CB but in other game modes people use other weapons, that's why even if the weapon is great, you are obsolete in both TC and RM since blasters and chargers are the meta on those modes.
Also, I was expecting more info about the regular tri XD
Anyways, you won a new sub today and I'll proceed to watch other of your "guides"
Also, loved the music selection
Splatoon + eurobeat = godly
7:39
when you are right in their face with the tri-slosher and still manage to miss.
That splash o matic kill made me happy.
I love the animation your character does when you make it to X rank!
I know this is a Splatoon vid, but the doggo! 😍
Ok the clash blaster isn't bad it's just VERY EASY TO USE
Caramel Cake true but you did get hate for it even if you can get directs with it that’s one of the many reasons why I dropped it other then the fact it tainted my hands.
I like to see a Splatoon 2 Carbon Roller [Deco] Video
I just stopped in to say
A decent player on the Sploosh o Matic can rack in kills/splats so quickly. It's got a decent fire rate and range, and the sliding bomb thing allows you to get out into the middle of the map easy.
Unfortunately... bad players ruin its rep
Trislosher is great for everything but zones... or maybe I suck at zones
I like this videos a lot keep up the awesome content
Hey dude i dont comment much and i havent even completed the vid yet but.. Props to you for using bravely default music! (It was BD right? Im not imagining things, right?) You got good taste, love your vids~
love your videos, keep it up!
ゴ ゴ Tri Slosher ゴ ゴ THIS IS THE WORK OF A ENEMY STAND!
Do an aerospray episode, pls
(Special charge up+ aerospray mg = carry the whole splatfest)
As a Tri-slosher user, i would like to say that most of us play it because we CANT AIM FOR SHIT
Bravely défaut music is so good!
Ink armor with a little special power up is good, I use max spu on my glasses, max run speed on my shirt and max swim speed on my shoes. It seems to work really well.
Im looking forward to the next version of the tri slosher
whats the gear you used specifically?
