Can you substitute sock yarn for the dk weight yarn? I am wondering if it would be to holey

I would work up just a flat swatch and make sure. I'm not positive and don't want to give you the wrong advice.

What weight is this yarn? And if you could what gauge is this loom ? Your videos are so helpful and easy to follow. Thank you

I will have to check but it's probably 1/4" gauge loom and a #1-#3 yarn

Could you tell me what kind of yarn you used. The kind I am using does not appear to have any stretch

I'm on my phone so I can see it's the angie's socks. I think those were toe up. If so do the Kitchener cast on going side to side. the shorter the strings you have to tighten up the better! Another note I will say is if you use a yarn that has any animal fibers in it tighten up the toe slow so that the individual animal hairs don't try to stick to each other and felt. Other than that do the same. Peg count may be different and if you need further assistance please email me thehypnotichysteria@gmail.com

I have a cindwood loom 3/16 80 peg gauge. What gauge is your loom and your yarn a #2 or #3? Also can I follow this pattern of 8 decrease heal and toe, I will use u knit for whole sock except for ribbing. I wear a size 8 wide shoe. This is my first sock. I also have a cindwood 3/16 64 peg loom. Which loom? Thanks for your answers and help.

I would use the 80 peg. Use #2 yarn but work up a small piece first to make sure you like the feel. Follow the pattern but decrease 12 on heel and toe.

Hypnotic Hysteria Looming, I’m also looking at your other sock videos to get ideas. All new to me. Thanks so much for your help. If you can add more info I’d welcome it. 👍🏻

I have a 1 ply yarn, so should I use the 64 peg loom? Should I decrease about 10?
